“Cute little spot! The decor is very old school - think '500 years ago' old school. The server was very nice and helpful. I had a flight and tried 3 meads. They were all delicious, but the classic mead was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Still delicious though.“

“In my many years of living here, I never got around to going to The Pyramid Scheme and now I'm regretting it. I should have done this years ago. Better late than never!
I attended The Funeral Portrait concert here. For those who read this and have never heard of them, trust me when I say that they are amazing. Anyway, back to the description. The venue is a lot bigger than anticipated and is definitely bigger on the inside. From what little time I spent in the front bar area, it's sharp, yet casual. Fun, but relaxing. I can't say much about the dinks as I didn't partake, but I'm sure they're awesome. All the staff are super awesome and very approachable. I am definitely going back for another show in December and may just have to pop in on one of my off nights to update this review.“

“Laid back pub that I frequent for their Saturday night karaoke. Staff is friendly, they mix some great drinks and the selection of bar food is great, with the Tater Kegs being a favorite of mine!
Stop in on a Saturday night, sing a few tunes and get yourself a drink!“

“The employees Stephanie and Anna run this place phenomenally. I mean, the deals and specials they run, the way they treat customers and make people feel at home. These two keep the place alive!!!My girlfriend moved in near by months ago, and spend tons of time there just for the delicious fair priced food, awesome drinks and fantastic atmosphere. Themes every night. Awesome weekend parties. Just try it out!!!“

“I came in with my husband yesterday and had a wonderful bartender, I never got her name, but we were there 12/20/24 and had the best service! She was attentive to my husbands dietary restrictions and very honest with what she felt was safe for recommendations. Very nice girl. She got very busy with a huge work party and never took focus off of making sure we were taken care of. Great staff!!! Will definitely be back and tell our friends to stop over.“

“The price of the drinks is very reasonable. The bar tenders are always friendly. They recently got a card machine so you don't have to bring a wad of cash with you. It's always a good hangout if you want to play pool or shuffleboard.“

“Blue Dog was an excellent, relaxing place to enjoy a cold beer after walking on a hot summer day. The drinks were decently priced, the interior was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food looked great too, so I’ll have to give that a try next time. The atmosphere was really casual and nice. I’d definitely recommend it for a nice time hanging out with friends.“

“There are a few bars in Grand Rapids that open at 7am and accommodate third shift workers. This is by far my favourite. The Logan's Breakfast is a generous, affordable option after a long night of work, coupled with their ample options for beer, and accepting staff.“

“"Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name," and the College Inn is such a place. The people were super friendly and welcoming. There is a picnic hangout are in the back and this IS the place if you are into playing pool. There are pool awards galore on the wall. This is truly a "dive" bar in every sense of the word but once one visits the College Inn, one walks out with a true degree in NE Grand Rapids culture.“

“I spent a couple hours here one summer afternoon enjoying a few drinks and taking in the ambiance. It’s quite a cozy Irish pub that seems to have a group of regulars who give the bar a welcoming feel. I’ll definitely drop by again when I’m in the neighborhood.“

“Great Pub Food, Music Bingo on Thursday very fun, no charge, great prizes. Owner is awesome & servers are accommodating. Kevin, DJ hilarious. Patty makes great margaritas. I live in Kentwood & have introduced Cesars to many folks. Best Olive Burgers, onion blossoms, salads & Wings & much more.

“Great place no cover. Went this 4/20/2024. Had an awesome free live show. G of to see three dope bands play and PBR on tap cheap and beat as ever. One of my favorite places to check out live music plus has a great vibe.
Parking: Kinda have to look around for a place to park for a second, but usually not long.“

“Excellent service! Delicious food! My only issue (which doesn’t change my rating) would be the strong fish smell that smacks you when you walk in. But apparently if you’re a dude there are urinal games! I won’t post a picture though… not very appetizing to see a urinal when trying to find good food!“
