“Not sure what Trophy Dad is saying, but I was there that same night and seen no issues. Everything he said could be further from the truth. I know the bartender personally and he wouldn't and wasn't doing anything of the sort. It is a very busy place and the workers are always hustling and bustling due to the amount coming in and out. Actually seen the manager out on the floor talking with folks all while helping run food and manage the entire place. Either this guy was at the wrong place or has larger problems in his own personal life and felt the need to take out his problems here. Always have a great experience at this place and love the atmosphere. I'm sure no one will miss the guy, lol.“
“Most of the time, it's great! I love the staff. The food is good for the price. I did rate the atmosphere a 3 star only because the few times recently I've been in durring the day the regulars complain about my voice that carries when there is only 5-10 people in there. Other than that the bar atmosphere is fun and inviting. I love their keroke host Bob. The manager is amazing! Every bartender is kind and gives amazing service to their patrons. 5 star dive bar for sure“

“My favorite time to visit is during the Summer when the beach and outdoor tables are open. They bring in live palm trees, very tall, from Florida . They have live bands often and tiki torches. It’s a great experience to sit in the sun, look out over the lake and take in the sunset with my love… not to mention forget your in Michigan lolParking: During the summertime the parking lot fills up fast. They have staff attendants directing cars to a back parking lot as well.“

“We came in on a Friday for lunch around 12:30PM and we were the first customers, it appeared. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. We were seated and taken care of for the duration of our meal by Malakai (sorry if that is not the correct spelling!) They were great - very attentive and friendly. We were given a complimentary bowl of homemade chips to start - so good, they had an Indian flare to them! We started with the asparagus nuggets and they were good. Bite sized asparagus pieces deep fried and served with an aioli and a sweet siracha sauce. Two of us had the grain bowl with salmon and they were delicious. Third guest had the mushroom pizza, and it was divine. I brought some of my grain bowl home, because it was such a hearty portion! Great leftovers!The chef also came around and asked how our food was and was very friendly and welcoming.More guests arrived while we were eating and I was happy to see more patrons. Their lunch was delicious and it was too slow for a Friday afternoon! So, highly recommend checking them out for lunch!“

“Stopped in here quickly to grab a drink before an event at John Ball Zoo. It's only a short drive from the zoo, and fortunately the service was super quick! I'd never been in here before, but was intrigued, and the location worked for our whole group. It's a little divey, but not as much as what I expected from some of the other reviews. Maybe because it was still earlyish, so there was quite a bit of light coming in. I found it to be clean enough, the bartender was friendly enough, they have a decent drink selection, it wasn't so loud we couldn't hear each other. I'm not sure it will end up being my favorite place in town, but it was fine, and I'd definitely go back again.“

“The other day was the first time I was able to eat at this restaurant. But I have driven past it many times and have had many friends speak highly of this restaurant. I went in yesterday and was served by a friendly waitress who was highly professional and the food was right. Quick, a great menu, and I loved my dinner. I will most definitely be back to Cheers.As a side note being middle-aged and having grown up as a child watching Cheers television show. I know one has nothing to do with the other. I like the soccer vibe and the feel, but it seemed like cleanliness had taken a back seat. Or you can sit and chill quietly. This is a place a woman can come alone and be perfectly safe.Nestled in a neighborhood, this is a gem. Parking is to the right of the building. If full, you can park on the street. This night there was a kids party at one of the houses so there were more than normal cars parked on the street. John allowed me to use his custom mug and made me a one of a kind drink. From there he talked in length about the history of the establishment. The staff treats you like family.
