“I’ve been driving by this place for years and has never been. Now that I work close to it, I decided to go for lunch. Not knowing what to expect, I left quite pleased. It has an old school, nostalgic vibe, with a grab your tray and order type thing. My average wait time, for my order, has been less than 5 min. All orders are made as they are ordered. The burgers are really good compared to other fast food. The sit down and dine in, with bussed tables make it feel pretty homey, especially with the outdated decor, keeping it almost original looking, setting you back in time, and it makes you wonder how old the place really is. I’d definitely recommend this place if you have never been. Prices are lower than the usual and definitely reasonable.“

Drive through literally noon on a Tuesday. 4 meals ALL CORRECT $30 cost. This place hasn't changed in the 25 years I have been eating there. I'm so impressed the young lady at the window just smiled. Our food was out within 8 minutes. Usually we go to 44th Street but are now on that side of town twice monthly for medical apts. THEY HAVE A TIP JAR. WE ASKED. TIP THESE PEOPLE THEY HAVE EARNED IT

They even do family friendly events bike night, car night ,and many more. There's always something new there and always something different to try. I highly HIGHLY recommend going here bring the kiddos too they have amazing ice and amazing choices for children. I don't go to much place now in days but definitely here they make the atmosphere feel safe and my boys love going everyone looks out for each other. My son's burger was excellent. My salad was great, and the fries and cheese sauce were spectacular...as always.

“Overall, very good. We arrived during happy hour and it was pretty busy outside and we only saw a couple of servers. The patio had a lovely atmosphere, although the table next to us was definitely close enough to eavesdrop on our convo, we were just chatting casually, so it was fine.

The only actual negative was that we didn't know we couldn't get a bottle of wine at happy hour price before our server brought it and opened it at our table. I think we would have saved 20 or so dollars if we had just bought 4 glasses instead.

The goat cheese appetizer was very yummy. We could have used 2 or 3 more pieces of bread, but we ended up just eating it with the spoon because we couldn't let it go to waste. For entrees, we had mac and cheese and the al pastor bowl. Both very good and well seasoned. For sure we will come back, it was a nice afternoon spot and felt very casual.

We went on a Thursday night and the deal was that you got $5 off of a burger with the purchase of any drink. We each had an old fashioned (really well made) and I had the Government Cheese burger… so good.

The toppings were plentiful, and the bun and burger were amazing. We had a couple of local beers afterwards, and the whole meal from start to finish was great. Also, go with their beer battered fries as opposed to plain. Trust me.

We were leaving at around 11 and it was just picking up - definitely a good late night spot.“

Pretty much every day of the week there will be something going on in the evening. The karaoke is a very "for the people" karaoke, so don't be afraid to belt it out. Good mix of locals hanging out, 20- and 30-somethings after beer league softball, that kind of thing. If you like dives give this place a try.

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business!
