“We are here today for lunch. We are in town for States for Hockey and staying next door. By far the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. Fast, very friendly service. We got the salad/pizza bar and my son wanted a specific pizza and the made it right away fresh and hot and came to our table to tell us when it was ready so he could go get some. He’s picky and sometimes hard to please with food and no restaurant has ever been this kind an amazing to him. We have been places that won’t even bring refills in seven time. This restaurant was on top of everything! It was a great experience and we will definitely be back as we frequent Grand Rapids with 3 kids in hockey.“

“We made a reservation and asked for a quieter area and they accommodated without question. Food and drinks were good ... service was good. The bar took a bit to get our orders out but the server was very communicative about where they were in the process. One in our party has a gluten allergy and while they did have gluten free buns available for burgers, there were very limited sides to choose from to swap out for the fries. The server did know about cross contamination from the fryer and returned to the table to say there was gluten in the turkey burger that was ordered. Cole slaw and salad were really the only sides to choose from. One suggestion is to include GF (gluten free) markings on the menu like you have for Vegan and Vegetarian items. It would have made searching the menu so much easier!“

“Drove over 2 hours to try Freddy’s Steakburgers - my son had been there before. Gotta say it was worth the drive, the burgers were fabulous (and the fries & custard didn’t disappoint) plus a great road trip with my kids. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean.“

“Great bar to go see live bands on Friday and Saturday. Everything on the menu is good. I especially love having the Waffle Burger on Saturday nights, but their wet burritos and this BBQ Bacon Chicken pizza is also good. They have Karaoke during the week but a live band 9pm-1am every Friday and Saturday. I would highly recommend them especially if the Hattrick Band is playing. You will remember the good times. “We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! - Cheese Burger - $8: The burger patty was medium well and decent. The toppings (lettuce, onion, and tomato) were extremely fresh and crisp. The mayo was extremely light and there was no ketchup. They did not have many of the typical burger sauces available in the dining area so I skipped adding more rather than asking at the counter. The bun was huge comparatively, soft but dense, and overall great.

- Fried Chicken Sandwich - $9: A breaded and fried chicken piece in a hoagie bun with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, and mayo. Delicious and large.

Their menu is quite extensive and unique. They have basic American food including burgers, phillies, fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets and wings, fish, and salad. They also have some unique items as well including gyros, egg rolls, crab rangoon, okra, crab, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, clams, lobster tail, and more.

- Service: Got the order right and was helpful. Mainly to the point. You order at the counter and pick it up at the counter when called.

- Atmosphere: There are about four tables with four chairs each. There is a self-serve soda dispenser (water available), a few basic condiments (no mayo), and a restroom. It was kept clean and updated.

- Conclusion: Good value and a basic restaurant atmosphere.

“My visit to Burger Theory was fantastic from beginning to end. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, everything was clean, and the staff made us feel appreciated as soon as we walked through the door.

I ordered a build-your-own grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and mayo, along with a side of seasoned fries and a cold Sprite. The sandwich was cooked perfectly—the chicken was juicy, flavorful, and paired well with the fresh toppings. The fries were one of my favorite parts of the meal: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered.

I especially want to recognize the outstanding service we received. Henry, our host, greeted us with a smile and got us seated quickly, making us feel welcome right away. Carlos, our server, was equally impressive. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks stayed full while checking in throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. His positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable.

By the end of the meal, there wasn’t much left on either of our trays, which says everything about how good the food was. We enjoyed every bite! It’s always a great sign when a meal is so satisfying that you clean your plate.

Between the delicious food, generous portions, clean dining area, and exceptional hospitality from both Henry and Carlos, Burger Theory earned every one of these five stars.
