“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.”

You have to get there at open if you don’t have a reservation and if you need a reservation I’d recommend booking at least a week in advance, especially on the weekends.”

“kinda of late for sharing but I have been searching for a good Mediterranean restaurant, comparable to my favorite place in Dearborn for almost 10 years!!! An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. Our server did a wonderful job helping us navigate the somewhat overwhelming menu, steering us toward standout picks like the Spicy Angel Sushi Roll and the Chicken Udon Noodles — both excellent choices. Service was attentive throughout, though it did feel a touch pushy at times when it came to placing our order and closing out the bill. The restaurant's aesthetic is fairly simple and could use a bit more character, but the food more than made up for it. Great sushi, and we'll definitely be back for more.”

“This was such a fun little activity for the day. The cats are great to play with while enjoying a beverage or snack. Great place to come and relax/get some feline therapy. I also love that it allows people to meet the cat in an environment they are fairly comfortable in before adopting. Definitely would recommend visiting!”

Is that why they improved? I don't know, but I do know that they're good. This Burger King is one of the few with some type of organization and the team was working so well together today. “Whoever the manager was it was a young gentleman and then there was a really amazing girl at the front window check my time slip check their drawers these were some of the best crew I have seen probably in a decade besides the short little girl that was consistent there for about 20 hours here’s at the back window their name Danica!!!!! I really miss that short little girl Danica I would come in every single day with my dog and she didn’t hold up the line by any means Danica was one of the best most efficient back through Drive person I’ve ever seen I know Danica climb to be in a manager at one time and then she I guess something happened I’m not sure she took sick or something I really miss seeing that girls face I hope she’s doing good! Every time I come to the drive-through I always pray it’s Danica There! I will see the crew tonight though was amazing the food was good and I definitely give us a nine out of 10 stars and if Danica was there the service would’ve been 10 out of 10 but these people are right up there with the service Danica gave Danica I miss you and hopefully I’ll see you again there sometime!!!!!My dog misses you Jenna~ Dewy my fur baby~ Diesel my other fur baby~ Highly recommend you guys!!!!!!”

“I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!”

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place”

“Rumi’s Garden was our first time trying Afghan food, and it was a great introduction to the cuisine!

We ordered the Afghani Feast, which is supposed to feed five people, but we actually had enough food to comfortably feed six. Everything was really delicious and well seasoned without being overly spicy. We especially enjoyed the variety of meat selections and how flavorful everything was.

If you’ve never tried Afghan food before, I’d definitely recommend giving Rumi’s Garden a try. It’s a great way to experience something new without feeling overwhelmed by the flavors or spice level.

One cool thing about this location is that it shares the building with Raza, an Indian restaurant that I’m already looking forward to trying next. So if you’re in the Grand Rapids area and want to explore Afghan or Indian food, you’ve got two options right there to check out!”

“Wow! This is one of the best places I've been to in a long time. Their hot plum tea is made in house and was so sweet and delicious. The ramen was tasty and everything I ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. You truly deserve way more than 5 stars! “We didn’t check what time they closed so we were kind of jerks and showed up half hour before closing. Even still the staff was all wonderful. It was our first time here so we took a minute ordering, but she was still sweet waiting patiently. When we got the food it was all excellent. They even took my mom’s/grandmas burger back to cut it in half because they always share one. I will definitely be returning hopefully while they still have the Krispy krab burger.”

“I'm a fan of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods so I was excited to try this place out. When we got there an hour to close, the owner was out of all his typical authentic foods like shawarmas, but since we were interested, he gave us a free pizza on the house. I still haven't had the chance to go back and try something authentic off the menu but I'm still very excited to return. The owner treats customers very well here.”
