Our server Brook and all of the other staff were fast, friendly, and on point.We shared the BBQ shrimp, beignets, and the seafood platter. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. If you’re looking for crispy fried chicken with great flavor, this place delivers!

The chicken was seasoned all the way through—not just on the outside—and the coating was perfectly crispy and crunchy without being greasy. Every bite was flavorful and cooked just right. The potato wedges were cooked well, but they could definitely use a little more seasoning to make them stand out.

One of the reasons I keep coming back is because my 94-year-old father absolutely loves the whole whiting. It’s become one of his favorite meals, so I always order the whole whiting for him. He really enjoys it, and it’s nice to have a place where I know he’ll be happy with his food.

The restaurant itself shows some wear and tear, and the lobby could use a deep cleaning and a little refreshing. However, what stood out to me even more than the food was the owner. He greeted everyone with a smile, worked incredibly hard, and treated every customer with genuine kindness and appreciation. You can tell he takes pride in serving his community and is doing the very best he can.

Sometimes it’s not just about the food—it’s about the people behind it. I’ll gladly come back for the crispy chicken, the whole whiting for my father, and to support a local business owner who clearly cares about his customers.

Super fresh, crispy, and the Cajun seasoning gives it real flavor without being too salty or greasy. Tastes more like something you’d get from a legit restaurant.
