A great place to meet for drinks and/or have dinner. The owners are doing it right.
This is one of my favorite spots in Grand Rapids. Chateau is a wine bar with curated selections of wine and food. While it might not have the most wine options, it definitely has something for everyone including cocktails and mocktails. One of my absolute favorite places in GR! It has the best cozy vibe and incredible wine selections. Love popping in here for a pre-dinner drink on a date night or with friends. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The restaurant also offers the option to purchase bottles of wine to go. The venue has a chic wine bar feel without the pretentious vibe, making it welcoming and warm. Visitors can taste a few wines before choosing, and enjoy small cocktail options and coffee offerings. The place is described as a dream, with an amazing wine selection, perfect wine bar food, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. The prices are extremely reasonable, and it has become a new favorite hang-out spot. The only complaint is that the rectangular shape of the place with brick walls causes the voices to bounce around, making it hard to understand conversations.
