“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“We didn’t check what time they closed so we were kind of jerks and showed up half hour before closing. Even still the staff was all wonderful. It was our first time here so we took a minute ordering, but she was still sweet waiting patiently. When we got the food it was all excellent. They even took my mom’s/grandmas burger back to cut it in half because they always share one. I will definitely be returning hopefully while they still have the Krispy krab burger.“

“Everything at Gin Gin’s is top notch; from the food to the service to the atmosphere. It is easily the best restaurant in GR! Downside is that it’s hard to get in. You have to get there at open if you don’t have a reservation and if you need a reservation I’d recommend booking at least a week in advance, especially on the weekends.“

“This place has socialize on the way but if you're having too much fun they'll tell you they have to serve another table amd tneed you to cash out. If you want to have fun and socialize...I Do NOT recommend you go to West Sife Socal because that is not the vibe of this place. More like ANTI social!!! “Very good place !! my man and I both got burgers and fries. The food smelled so good, it was so tasty, the meat wasn’t dry there was just enough sauce on the burger you didn’t need extra , the fries were cooked well and seasoned to perfection. I’d give this 10/10.“

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! “Nice place to eat with good views when it's nice out. It's standard GFS/Sysco food, but the menu is solid and a bit more eclectic compared to something like West Side Social. Be careful not to make too much fun of the golfers below; it's the last hole and they'll be sitting next to you soon!“

“Stopped in for the salad bar as we were passing thru town. I looked up a good salad bar in the area and this place came up. 1st of all our server was so great! She was super sweet!!
What was on the salad bar was not refreshed. Had to ask for salad to be filled, they did make a fresh pizza for us which was nice. No radishes, broccoli and so many other things were near empty. I did ask the hostess to see if someone would please refill it all but it never happened. I assume if everything was filled and fresh it would be great though!! Made no sense to us why no one payed attention to keeping it full.“

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. “The most amazing brunch I’ve ever had!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal!! Can’t believe it took me this long to go. Our server was super knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations.“

- Cheeseburger Basket - $11.75: The cheeseburger was taken from a warmer. The cheese was melted, but solid and stuck to the bun and tore the bun while trying to add toppings that were given separate from the cheeseburger. The toppings were very fresh and crisp, however. The burger patty was still juicy and cooked good. The bun was still soft and fresh.

- Fries (included in basket): Crinkle cut and on the thinner side. They cooled really fast and were tough. Eat them immediately. They needed a bit of salt, too.

- Super Pretzel - $6: Soft inside and lots of salt. It was on the darker side and tough, but okay.

- Service: Fairly immediate and helpful.

- Conclusion: You are mainly paying for convenience here. It is not bad, but it is nothing much to write home about. The burger was okay.

“Really enjoyed the food, especially the starters. For apps we got the goat cheese dip, soup of the day (chicken tortilla) and bacon Brussel sprout salad which were all so so good. Cocktail menu is super fun and refreshing, well balanced and definitely has a lot to care and creativity put into each drink. Jimmy was awesome, knows the ins and outs of the menu and events going on here (including local live music?! Heck yeah!) We’ll definitely be back again soon!“

“Excellent food options and drink menus with interesting dishes. We got the crab Rangoon nachos and a basic sushi roll that were DELICIOUS. I’ll probably order myself a plate of the nachos as my meal next visit because it was a great portion and amazing flavor with REAL crab. My ONLY complaint is we were there around 7pm or so on saturday sitting at the bar drinking and conversing next to multiple other couples and a couple ladies and two small children were sat at a table adjacent to us. I wish they didn’t allowed minors after a certain time or maybe on the weekends when adults are mostly going out. We were going for the dark, mature, ambiance (while seated at the bar) and it was thrown way off by the kids that were sat near us. We went for the “night life” and ended up feeling pretty awkward drinking and trying to have mature conversation next to lively small children.“

“This place is amazing. Great food made fresh, and the employees are nice and polite. Only downside I think you'll run into is that its always busy, probably because its so good. Definitely recommended to bring the family. Get the beef pot roast platter on sour dough bread with instead of a roll.“

“Amazing atmosphere. Good food. Prices are too cheap for the quality that you get.

- Cheeseburger - $3.50: Yes, I had a burger for breakfast. If you follow me on Google Maps, you’ll know this isn’t beneath me. I am looking for the best burgers. This one was good. The burger patty was juicy and cooked just right, probably a quarter pound. The bacon really added to it and it was a generous portion. You assemble it with the rest of what is on the plate so you can choose your portions. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, crispy and not too wet.

- Ham and Cheese Omelet - $3: Good. The picture looks a little worse than it actually was. It was served very hot and the ham was a tad on the light side, but the cheese was just right.

- Breakfast Fried Rice- $3.50: I visited with friends and one of them had this. It had sesame & ginger fried rice, bacon, scallions, bell peppers, carrots, and peas. It was topped with egg and normally Yum Yum sauce, but they didn’t care for mayo so skipped it. They reported it was good.

- Coffee - $0.75: Rich and bold. Some of the best drip-coffee I’ve had. Who charges less than a dollar for coffee anymore?? KCTC is the only one I know of. Most places are $3 now.

- Service: Very professional and yet kind and positive. The staff is composed of instructors and students, so be kind (they are learning), but I found that because of this, they genuinely did their very best. The instructors really care and make it enjoyable to learn.

- Atmosphere: Wonderful and high class. You have to go through Security before entering the building which means access is limited to students, staff, and invited guests. I have family who attends classes so I was able to stop by and dine. I believe they are only open 7:30-8:30am, but they may be open at other times. Someone else may have to confirm the rest of the details.

- Conclusion: The value is insane! At these prices, they could almost give me garbage and I’d be happy. Instead, they served wonderful food. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!
