I had a great experience at Olives tonight. Everyone from the hostess (Elise) to our waitress (Emily) exemplified great customer service. A couple of my favorites were the brussel sprouts and the lychee drink. We will be back!
There were 10 of us dining at Olive's tonight. Wonderful service from Alec; the place was hopping but he was cool, calm, and patient. The food and drinks were wonderful and I felt the bill was very reasonable. We love having this great neighborhood spot.

Olives is a charming restaurant in the heart of Gaslight Village, known for its delicious dishes. Some highlights include the chicken picatta, braised beef French dip, and the popular olive burger. The olive burger is messy but very good, made with two smashburgers, olive/mayo sauce, and Swiss cheese. Guests can enjoy super good and fresh apps, like the medium spiced Dindan noodles. The truffle fries can be very salty with little truffle taste, but the garlic aoli served with them is delicious. The Michigan side salad is also very good. The restaurant decor is attractive, but it can be a bit noisy and the chairs are hard. The owners are trying very hard and are very good people. Overall, the food and service are decent, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
