A delightful, small restaurant with a lively, yet intimate atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu was short, simple and creative. The food was delicious. This place hits all buttons, levers and switches that make you feel fabulous. They cause you to think when you’re leaving the restaurant feeling so satisfied, “When the hell am I coming back. Maybe tomorrow.” That’s how good!

My wife and I were looking for something a little different as we drove down Plainfield. We always like to go to small mom and pop's and Cafe Mamo hit the spot. The exterior is misleading, looking small, but the inside although not big, did seem roomy with many tables.We shared the pasta dish, it was simple but full of flavor.
