“We had a party of 9, including 2 children and we had the absolute best experience this weekend! Diamonte was our waiter and he 100% nailed every aspect of our visit. He had great interactions with the kids and remembered their names (they loved that). The food was perfect; we had steaks, salmon, shrimp, burgers and don't forget the ROLLS! This was Sunday dinner and they were pretty full but there was absolutely no delays. Thank you Diamonte and crew - we will be back for sure!“

“We have been enjoying Culver’s in Standale/Walker since they opened, but, it is our experience that the quality of the food is gradually going down a bit. We usually get the fish sandwiches and also have enjoyed the onion rings, but, our last order was not good. Last Thursday, we ordered two two-piece fish dinners and substituted onion rings for the fries. This was a take-out order. When we got home and began to eat the food, we found the meal to be at a considerably low standard of quality. It tasted as though the oil used to fry both the fish and the rings was “old oil” and needed to be changed. It was quite disappointing for having paid $27 for the two meals expecting a decent fish dinner. We DID, however enjoy the coleslaw.“

“Great experience today! The black bean burger was really good - fresh and flavorful. The ultimate nachos were also a highlight, loaded and satisfying without being soggy. Everything came out fresh and hot.

“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“Everything at Gin Gin’s is top notch; from the food to the service to the atmosphere. It is easily the best restaurant in GR! Downside is that it’s hard to get in. You have to get there at open if you don’t have a reservation and if you need a reservation I’d recommend booking at least a week in advance, especially on the weekends.“

If you want to have fun and socialize...I Do NOT recommend you go to West Sife Socal because that is not the vibe of this place. More like ANTI social!!! “I love Russ' - it is a nice, local chain with very good food, friendly staff, and a quiet atmosphere. I come here about 2-3 times a month to eat breakfast and work on my Bible Study. My ONLY complaint is we were there around 7pm or so on saturday sitting at the bar drinking and conversing next to multiple other couples and a couple ladies and two small children were sat at a table adjacent to us. I wish they didn’t allowed minors after a certain time or maybe on the weekends when adults are mostly going out. We were going for the dark, mature, ambiance (while seated at the bar) and it was thrown way off by the kids that were sat near us. We went for the “night life” and ended up feeling pretty awkward drinking and trying to have mature conversation next to lively small children.“

A really enjoyable dining experience. It's downtown Grand Rapids so parking can be somewhat hard to find close by on weekend nights because that's where everyone is at. I didn't mind the walk though.“

- Cheeseburger Basket - $11.75: The cheeseburger was taken from a warmer. The cheese was melted, but solid and stuck to the bun and tore the bun while trying to add toppings that were given separate from the cheeseburger. The toppings were very fresh and crisp, however. The burger patty was still juicy and cooked good. The bun was still soft and fresh.

- Fries (included in basket): Crinkle cut and on the thinner side. They cooled really fast and were tough. Eat them immediately. They needed a bit of salt, too.

- Super Pretzel - $6: Soft inside and lots of salt. It was on the darker side and tough, but okay.

- Service: Fairly immediate and helpful.

- Conclusion: You are mainly paying for convenience here. It is not bad, but it is nothing much to write home about. The burger was okay.
