“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. “I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!“

“We went on a Thursday night. They were busy but we got seated right away! Loved our server! He was fantastic and explained everything for us. Lots of fun!!!! Live music was playing! “Excellent food options and drink menus with interesting dishes. We got the crab Rangoon nachos and a basic sushi roll that were DELICIOUS. I’ll probably order myself a plate of the nachos as my meal next visit because it was a great portion and amazing flavor with REAL crab. My ONLY complaint is we were there around 7pm or so on saturday sitting at the bar drinking and conversing next to multiple other couples and a couple ladies and two small children were sat at a table adjacent to us. I wish they didn’t allowed minors after a certain time or maybe on the weekends when adults are mostly going out. We were going for the dark, mature, ambiance (while seated at the bar) and it was thrown way off by the kids that were sat near us. We went for the “night life” and ended up feeling pretty awkward drinking and trying to have mature conversation next to lively small children.“

A really enjoyable dining experience. It's downtown Grand Rapids so parking can be somewhat hard to find close by on weekend nights because that's where everyone is at. I didn't mind the walk though.“
