“We have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants, some classy, and some not so, but this place is just a little off-the-wall taco place. The waitress was awesome; the young lady made us feel like we were important guests. It was a little different than normal guess the food is a lot more authentic than some places. The sauces were very good 4 different kinds one was hot and we like hot sauce. The food came hot fresh and tasted very good. The prices were good for what we ordered. Being the wife is part mexican; she rather picky on her Mexican food but very much enjoyed what she ordered. So we have decided that we are going to try more places like this in the future. “My wife and I visited, she for the first time. I’ve dined there often with friends after a round of golf. She was surprised! The place was so clean; the bathrooms were spotless. I loved my shrimp quesadillas and she really enjoyed her salad. Huge portions, we took quite a bit home. Nice, warm chips and delicious salsa for openers and a very attentive server! We’ll be back!“

Wheelchair accessibility: I wish all the Russ restaurant's had the handicap doors when entering or leaving. The only one Russ Restaurant that has the handicap automatic doors is in Cutlerville.“

“The food here is always exceptional! They will go above and beyond for you if you show the staff some common decency. On that topic the last few times I've been in I've had to listen to people abuse this lovely staff. They are always super busy and work as fast as they can. This behavior is unexceptable. I am so glad the owner and management have a back bone and don't allow customers to walk all over staff members for a few dollars. I love watching you cancel an order and asking them to take their business elsewhere. Your food is amazing, but the way you stand up for your employees is what has me continually coming back. I love the family first values.“

“I used to came here for my daughter's birthday cake 3 times a year and at one point I had to stop coming because of their customer service, dirty, unorganized but their cake has always been amazing. Then one day I decided to give them one more try again, as soon as I walked in I recognized the place was cleaned and got greeted by the owner and we had our talk. After, I chose to order my wedding cake and cupcakes. They did the exact way I asked for and my in-law and everyone loved it.“

“We really enjoyed our dinner here. Service was friendly and prompt. One of our dinners was $11 and the other $14. Both were enough for dinner and a future lunch. The pad thai is very sweet. That makes it taste great, but it has a lot of sugar.The dining room was cozy, clean, and warm on a cold day. “I wondered why it was only receiving 4 star ratings. I thought we'd check it out anyway. Then we understood the 4 stars. Yes, the food was good and the service was excellent!! We felt like we didn't get enough fries or onion rings compared to most places, considering the price. They flattened the burger patty too much kinda felt like it wasn't really there. “Very clean restaurant! The staff is so kind. I asked my order not be made spicy and it was done perfectly. The dish I ordered does have peanuts without listing, but it was delicious. Simple flavors, not noticeable oily. One of the healthiest dishes I've had at a restaurant in a long time. There appear to be several vegetarian options, but I forgot to request no fish sauce. Luckily, it was given on the side. The portions are small for the price. The restaurant was quite empty when we went. With a few close-by competitors at much better portion per price, I can't help but wonder if that is why. I enjoyed it and for me, I eat small portions, so I didn't have to take leftovers. The water is not good.

Vegetarian options: Veg Lo Mein uses egg noodles, Bun Tofu is vegan if you ask for no fish sauce on the side, there is tofu or veg pho, but you may want to inquire about the broth, veg fried rice (ask about fish sauce and egg to be safe)“

“I had a very enjoyable breakfast here with my daughters. The food was excellent and the service was good. However they were very busy and we were seated right next to the kitchen which made it difficult for me to hear anything that was said. We do plan to return and hope it won't be quite as noisy next time.“

“We ate just after lunch hour, our server was very attentive, kept our waters full, gave us the sauces we asked for or needed for our egg rolls, and our two entries. Our dishes were excellent in taste, and presentation as well late this summer. We will be back the next time we are on the southwest side of town, which will be on 01/23/2024 for lunch. Looking forward to another great meal.

“This place is exactly what I expected in a Michigan Mexican Grill. The chips and salsa at the start are amazing, and the people are very nice, but you need to wait a little while for your food, but it is worth it. The rice, the chicken, the steak, the vegetables, and many others are very nice. Interior-wise, it's pretty normal, like all the grills I've been to. ?“
