“The waitress was not attentive at all. served 3 other tables of customers that were regular customers first they came in 5 minutes after us,I had to get her attention to put our order in, she told me because we needed menus she severed the other tables first. had to ask for our bill as others got theirs and paid and we're on their way. I don't care if you've been a waitress for 40 years, you don't just ignore your customers regular or not. was told there's no owner of management also. I know this post will be deleted because she didn't want to hear the truth. I left her a 5.00 tip just for the fact she was doing it all by herself of the whole 10 or so tables.“
“I dropped someone off at CSL to donate plasma. Decided to stop here to get something to eat while I waited. Took about 15 minutes for someone to come to my table to greet me. It really wasn't busy at all.The speed for my food wasn't too bad. I received one refill, then I didn't see the server again for an hour. I had to go looking for her to get my bill after waiting an hour and a half after finishing eating. I shouldn't have tipped as much as I did because of that. It's not like they were busy, the servers were talking to someone.Food was good though! Food made up for the terrible service. It wasn't too loud since it wasn't busy. There was about 8 tables with people at them when i visited during the lunch hour. I got there at 11:30 am, finally left at 2 pm after getting the bill.“
“My husband and I have been looking for bars like this in the Grandville area and have come to realize... there aren't any. Thankfully, Sports Center Cafe is close by. We stopped in for some drinks and an appetizer on a Saturday afternoon and their nachos did not disappoint! They were generous with the toppings and you can't beat happy hour pricing. We will be back.“
“Nothing too fancy and has the old diner feels. People here are super nice and it doesn't feel rushed like most places in GR. Time to sit and enjoy some simple food for a decent price. Plenty of parking and easy entrance. Breakfast ends at 11 but I'll have to come back and try a lunch here sometime ! Sara D was our waitress and she was spectacular.“
“Excellent Sunday breakfast! Cute, friendly place with great breakfast choices. We had the Hippy Hash and a sausage gravy omelette, both were delicious! Don't forget the strawberry jam for your toast, reminds me of the freezer jam my aunt used to make.“
“We had a wonderful experience tonight. My kids were hyper and the staff was super patient. Fish, chicken tenders, boneless wings, mini corn dogs, tots, fries, pork rinds, and deep fried Oreos. It was all delicious. A heads up would have been nice about the sweet and spicy seasoning on the pork rinds though. They were yummy, but the kids and I are not fans of spice.Kid-friendliness: The staff was patient and the atmosphere just felt welcoming. It wasn't loud inside, but also not super quiet where I would feel embarrassed when my kids got a little loud.“
“Miss rose is the best my family and I been coming for almost 20 years. She has always been there. Knows my family loves everyone equally. She keeps us coming back. I slipped up went to dennys worst mistake of my life I will drove the extra 20 minutes just for the good service and food. It's hard to find people that actually love their job and sje does it shows. Miss rose will always be a family member“
“Today is Shelly's last day as owner before Terry takes over. If anything, Shelly has been an amazing woman for the community and established a staple diner in the area. Every local in the immediate area knows about this place and knows it's a gem. Classic American breakfast and lunch that brings a smile to everybody's face with competitive pricing and a friendly staff to boot. We will miss Shelly and we will fully support Terry on his new adventure!Kid-friendliness: The staff here love kids.“
