“Greatest Family owned single restaurant around. Simple menus but very tasty. Love the goulash on Monday and Pork Ribeye on Thursday. A great BLT any day of the week and fries are as good as you can find!“

“So we came in after our daughter’s softball game for some food and hopes of watching the White Sox game. Kylie was our server and she was amazing, very friendly and outgoing. She tried to get the game on for us but didn’t know how to do it. She came back and said her manager came in and she is taking care of it. So as we are sitting there, what I assume is the manager, comes over and in a very condescending way says the game is over and they won. My boyfriend is a big fan. I said “oh did he grow up in Chicago?” Again she said rudely comments “color matters.” We asked for the white Sox game and never got it. Food was good, service from Kylie was great, interaction with the manager should have not been that way.“

“Came to our rescue at the last minute as we needed a place for a rained out birthday party for 20+ people! Denise and her crew were so understanding, helpful and accommodating, all as we invaded their busy lunchtime! Good food and service! Highly recommend 🎉“

“Love the soup and salad bar that comes with a baked potato. My only complaint is the lettuce! I wish they would bring back the two varieties of iceberg/romaine and the leafy greens. They currently have just the “Spring Mix/Mesclun” type of salad that I don’t care for because of the stems! I love the wait staff giving kudos to Nicole, Maggie, and Karen! Love them all. Kind, courteous, and very accommodating to keep the customers happy. I love that they use a cleaning spray on every table also. This is especially important during the cold and flu season. Thank you Russ’s!“

“The servers & kitchen staff at this location are true gems! My son has food allergies, which require lots of questions, cross-checking ingredients & special requests. We’re not the easiest customers to work with, as our orders generally aren’t quick. They were completely accommodating & showed us so much patience. They even went as far as printing off a list of ingredients for my son to see if he could try something new, which he could! 8 years old & never had a fried pickle until today, he was SO happy! They absolutely did not have to take the time to do that but as a mother, I am so so thankful for it. You made both of our days & we absolutely will be back!“

“We have always loved Russ'. The food is great, especially the Meatloaf Stacker. I don't feel I have ever had a bad meal here. I also love the Chicken Corn Chowder when in season. Our service has always been good. The Alpine location tends to be a little dark inside, at least that is how it appears to me, but the place is still a great place to go for a good meal.“
