“CLK overall was an amazing environment and very family oriented. I would like to give a huge shout out to the manager from last night, I came in believing I had a reservations because I was celebrating my bday but also doing a gender reveal that was done Feb 13th for March 1st but it wasn’t in there system. Instead of turning me around her and some of staff maneuvered and make things work in my favor. The server we had started out great but then became a little rude and I don’t know if it was because of my party downsizing or what but the attitude changed. She started reaching over ppl not saying excuse me so I became a little irritated on my special day. I really wanted to experience more of the food but the way things went it just changed the whole energy for me. But everything wasn’t bad and like I said I truly appreciate the amazing manager from last night and I was told that the bartender that made the drinks was superb!!!! Thank you“

This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. The pulled pork egg roll appetizers weren't good (didn't like the flavor/ consistency of the filling), the loaded tots would have been amazing but unfortunately were overcooked. “I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!“

“We loved it. Everything we tried was amazing. The eggs Benedict was on point - the hollandaise was thinner that I'm used to, so I was worried, but it was phenomenal. The sausage scrambler was amazing too. We added a side of their homemade gravy too and it enhanced it. We also tried the whitefish special (not pictured), which is also homemade, and LOVED it! We will def be coming back. The history of the place is cool too.“

“Amazing service! Ian was our bartender and he made sure we had a unique experience by introducing us to Megan, the owner, after said we wanted to try something we had never had before. She proceeded to ask us a series of questions and then proceed to make a pour based on our answers. She did awesome, as we tried two new bourbon we have never had and enjoyed the bourbon as well. This is a must stop if you enjoy sipping bourbon!“
