“My family and I visited Grand Rapids for a weekend. I saw this restaurant recommended on Tiktok so thought we'd give it a try. On Friday, we got there around 8:20pm. On Google it says her restaurant closes at 10. We walked in and waited a few minutes before a young man was sent to tell us that she (the owner) was not taking anymore orders and would he closing at 8:30. Okay, maybe the time was wrong on Google. No biggie, we decided to go again the next day. We got there around 3:30pm. Upon walking in, I smiled at the owner and said hello. She looked at me with a rude face and did not greet us. A few minutes later she asked across the restaurant if we had reservations. I answered no. Did not see anything about reservations being required when looking online. She continued working and we continued to wait by the door. After a few minutes, she came to us and said if you want to eat here, it will be slow service, is that okay? And we told her we're okay and left. Now I understand she was busy, but both days we were not treated with warmth or felt like we were welcomed in the restaurant. The other customers she interacted with were treated kindly from what we saw. I personally feel like she does not care for black Americans, which sucks because we were trying to support her black business.“

“Love the environment, our waiter was amazing. He explained all the selections we were Interested in, and the meals we choose were the swordfish and the wagyu sirloin. Each was fabulous! I also explained the wine I like and he made sure he brought me the perfect one. For dessert we had bourbon apple crisp. Which was the best dessert I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back“

“It is along one of my bike routes. On a hot day I stop for a refreshing beer or two. The food menu is expanding with new additions and the choice of beers fit the mood. The patio is great to sit out friends and the inside feel is improving. Even my wife likes to come here. The service is steady.“

Good selection of beers, a growing list of NA beverages, very unique and delicious foods, and being inside a beautiful piece of GR history creates an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a beer or dinner in! Sometimes a big sports game will be projected inside which is cool. This summer they have a larger menu than normal which has been fun. My only thing is: wishing there were more vegetarian options for meals (beyond apps). “I had a wedding rehersal dinner that exceeded expectations. Hailee our hostess was the best ever at making guest feel at home. It set the tone for the weekend. Guest were treated to a 5 course plated dinner menu. If you live in the Grand Rapids, MI area, make this a stop for true italian cuisine. “My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

“Our first time trying Greco's. The Pizza and Breadsticks were delicious. My only complaint is I ordered two extra sauces and I ensured she heard me. She even repeated it back to me as well. My husband picked up the order and they told him the extra sauces were in the boxes (also on the reciept). He didn't check and trusted them and they were not. Disappointed as we ran out of sauce for our breadsticks. We will still order again most likely.“

It's small enough to feel homey and know that the food you're getting is cooked fresh, but not too small that you feel crowded. Amazing soup of the day options, and a whole list of different root beers including a house made root beer on tap! Not very much chicken or pine nuts on the dish for a $24 meal but it was really tasty. My husband has the salmon and said it was really good as well. We both enjoyed our wine and some gelato. We will return! Service was great and it was a nice atmosphere! Just took one star away because it was a little on the pricey side. 2 glasses of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 meals, and some gelato was over $100.“

“The atmosphere was great. I almost felt like I had gone back in time to a pub by an old baseball stadium. The service was fast and attentive. There is quite the craft beer selection, one for every taste, and I didn't try a disappointing beer from the tap there. Three of the people sitting at my table got pizza, which is what they are known for. They all loved it! I decided to go rogue, knowing they were known for their pizza already. I got the Cuban sandwich, which has fresh BBQ pulled pork from the shop across the street and a side of chips. The sandwich had a delicious taste, and the bread was perfect for the sandwich. The only downside was that the sandwich was on the dry side. All in all, I would highly recommend eating here, and I will definitely be going back.“
