“The only person who enjoyed the food was our dog. We waited almost 25 minutes for 2 hot dogs with cheese and bacon and an order of mozzarella sticks. Everything was lukewarm and gross. The table before us had been in there and still waited 25 minutes for some chili cheese fries. 3 workers present but only one doing anything. We won’t be back.”

“CLK overall was an amazing environment and very family oriented. I would like to give a huge shout out to the manager from last night, I came in believing I had a reservations because I was celebrating my bday but also doing a gender reveal that was done Feb 13th for March 1st but it wasn’t in there system. Instead of turning me around her and some of staff maneuvered and make things work in my favor. The server we had started out great but then became a little rude and I don’t know if it was because of my party downsizing or what but the attitude changed. She started reaching over ppl not saying excuse me so I became a little irritated on my special day. I really wanted to experience more of the food but the way things went it just changed the whole energy for me. But everything wasn’t bad and like I said I truly appreciate the amazing manager from last night and I was told that the bartender that made the drinks was superb!!!! Thank you”

“Everything at Gin Gin’s is top notch; from the food to the service to the atmosphere. It is easily the best restaurant in GR! Downside is that it’s hard to get in. You have to get there at open if you don’t have a reservation and if you need a reservation I’d recommend booking at least a week in advance, especially on the weekends.”

We didn't realize that our favorite thing there wasn't popular enough to retain as a menu item when Leo's changed hands. “My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.”

“Best wings in GR. I got sweet bbq wings, but also tried the lemon pepper and honey mustard bbq. All were amazing. The lemon pepper were my favorite. The owner was also really friendly and made everything fresh for us. Will absolutely go back and try more rubs/sauces!”

“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.”
