“Wow! My wife and I celebrated our 16 year wedding anniversary here tonight. The food, absolutely amazing! Drinks, amazing! But what I really want to rave about is how wonderful their service and hospitality was. We had a lovely hand written note at our table wishing us a happy anniversary. Multiple people told us happy anniversary. Our server, Ericka, she was real genuine and nice and at the end of our dinner she brought us a vase of flowers. This was hands down the best dining experience we have had. Thanks for making this an enjoyable and rememberable night for us.”

“Stopped by Boardwalk Subs and had a really good experience overall. The front area was clean, and the bathroom was okay and kept up, which is always a good sign for a restaurant. The servers were really nice and welcoming, and they made ordering easy.
The food was great and the portions were generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. One cool tip if you go: “run it through the garden” is the secret code for getting all the veggies on your sub, which made the sandwich even better.
Overall, it was a solid visit with good service, clean surroundings, and satisfying food. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. 👍🥪”

“The food is great, service was friendly. I got boneless wings and the chicken was nice white meat pieces, the fries are good seasoned fries. The inside of the shop is a little boring, but for all this place should be getting hype Caynes is getting (selling school lunch crinkles fries and toast like it's something) I don't get it. “Great experience with ordering takeout. We normally would dine in but had to get home after running some errands, so we ordered online. Everything was perfectly prepared and packaged well for the drive. All the extras were there in abundance: butter and sour cream for the baked potato, dressing for the salad, lemon wedges for the salmon, and of course, BISCUITS! Our meals were both delicious. Great job, Team Kentwood!”

“It felt like the Bahn Mi shop I used to go to in Australia. I can't really rate the food as I was not able to eat it. I am used to them putting chilli's on the sandwich. I would just take them off, B&N seem to have the heat in the pickling juice the vegetables were pickled in. The orginal flavor I got was amazing, then my taste buds ran away. So be warned. Ask and don't assume if you can't handle spicey.”

“Being from Chicago, I have experienced a lot of different barbecue food, and this place is up there with some of the much better places I’ve had. I ordered the pulled chicken and smoked turkey along with a side of beans and corn pudding. The food was fantastic, very flavorful. I enjoyed the barbecue sauce! Also, the to go food was very well packaged for my drive back to Holland, no leaky containers.

The girl at the register and the guy serving the food were both very nice to deal with, I will definitely be back.”

“Delicious! First had their cookies and Cheeyah at Michiana Veg Fest about 4 years ago and fell in love. Sadly we are a bit far to get it regularly. Our local co-op Purple Porch is now selling their frozen and cookie items! Still working on them to get the Cheeyah. 😉 Yummy, local, vegan! Cheeyah is the best thing ever. I ordered some bottles for a party for us vegans at a nacho bar (found a cashew queso not nearly as good). It didn’t get there for the party (I waited too long so it was on me) and when it came today, they included some pies and a cookie! So sweet! Thanks for being an awesome company!”

“I stopped here on the way to the airport for a quick bite. The breakfast sandwich was really good. The dining room is similar to that of the old coffee shops. The service was good and fast. The prices were awesome, we ate for around $16 for 2 people, including tip. I would recommend to family and friends.”

“I didn't have a problem getting a table on April 7th, 2022. It was my 49th birthday! Chocolate cake and ice cream and subs and Cobb salad and salmon was really good! I wish u get more tokens for $35.00 but my twin boy's and I had a blast! I give Dave & buster out in Kentwood, a perfect 10! AAPlus! I wish Dave and buster could give better deals on buying tokens. Please!”

“We absolutely loved this week's experience at Pizza Ranch. Everything was so clean, the staff was very friendly and the pizza was hot and offered so many great varieties. We unknowingly came on wing night and that was an added bonus. The fries were especially a favorite at our table - so crispy! I loved the salad bar as well, which was well stocked with fresh options. The assistant manager served us our personalized pizza and checked on us several times. I also saw the staff continually bussing tables and attending to the buffet area. Our only disappointment was the Pepsi products rather than Coke because we're diehard Coca Cola fans here. But overall such a fun night and treat for an out of town guest who told us repeatedly how much she enjoyed it.”

“This was my first visit to “On the Border”. The food was really good and the wait for it was reasonable. Our server, Jayden, was very good. We could tell he was really busy, but he was on top of everything and did not fail to return regularly to check on our wishes/needs. Jayden was friendly and proficient. Hope we get him next time we eat at this restaurant.”

“The first time I came to this location, I was doing DoorDash and I needed something to eat and some gas so I got some gas and Casey’s has a kitchen so I was like all right. I’ll get something to eat. I’ll go outside. I pump my gas and I’ll get in my car and I open up that loaded loaded burrito and I took a bite of that thing and when I say I had to shake my head and take another bike cause I kept telling myself why in the world this burrito so good like McDonald’s burrito don’t even taste this good I feel like this is some real agree. They had real bacon and sausage in it. Hashbrowns in it. I’m talking about a fool is on point when it comes to a gas station kitchen you want some good food go to this month go to go to Casey’s on Kalamazoo Street. They gonna get you right”

“Came here for lunch on a Tuesday after my daughter's appointment. Was greeted by Pettra and she took our order. She helped me save a bit of $ by doing the 2 for $6 they have right now and also noticed my daughter didn't get a drink with her food so she did not hesitate to get us a cup for water (my daughter loves water so it was awesome!) awesome customer service there! Definitely made eating lunch here a great experience 🙂”
