“I didn't have a problem getting a table on April 7th, 2022. It was my 49th birthday! Chocolate cake and ice cream and subs and Cobb salad and salmon was really good! I wish u get more tokens for $35.00 but my twin boy's and I had a blast! I give Dave & buster out in Kentwood, a perfect 10! AAPlus! I wish Dave and buster could give better deals on buying tokens. “Great customer service . But a women named Brit sits at the bar and gives people attitudes. Claims she’s the owners wife . Love the bar , love the bartenders and workers . But whoever Brit is . Really makes it uncomfortable. Attitude for no reason , even when you don’t speak to her . She’ll speak to you like she’s runs the place . Would recommend for customer service , but her specifically is a no go . 2 out of 5 stars . Would be 4 stars but like I said she sucks the energy out with the nasty attitude .“

“My husband has always loved the beer from here so we took advantage of a trip to Grand Rapids to stop in and have a couple flights. All our drinks were amazing and I was particularly thrilled with the blue slushie drink. We enjoyed the ambiance of the outdoor seating area with comfortable picnic tables with umbrellas. “We love the college inn! We feel lucky to have it as our neighborhood bar! Always lively, good drinks, fair prices! Kay is typically our bar tender and we love her, she’s always fun to talk to and takes everyone’s orders as soon as they walk in. Never a bad time at the inn 🤠“

“We made a reservation and asked for a quieter area and they accommodated without question. Food and drinks were good ... service was good. The bar took a bit to get our orders out but the server was very communicative about where they were in the process. One in our party has a gluten allergy and while they did have gluten free buns available for burgers, there were very limited sides to choose from to swap out for the fries. The server did know about cross contamination from the fryer and returned to the table to say there was gluten in the turkey burger that was ordered. Cole slaw and salad were really the only sides to choose from. One suggestion is to include GF (gluten free) markings on the menu like you have for Vegan and Vegetarian items. It would have made searching the menu so much easier!“

“I found Putt Putts when I was 23 yo and coming home from college as as Grand Rapids raised baby and found the most amazing burger ANYWHERE I've ever visited... nothing can compete to their Ultimate Burger. Got married and had a son because of my 1st date there and couldn't love them more even now that I've lived in every other state since then 💗“

“REOPENED and better than ever, but limited food options for a couple months.

I spoke with the bartender and he explained they were able to get most everything up and running again back in mid December, but there is still a bit of painting and they need to build up their revenue to purchase new kitchen equipment to bring their menu back fully. They do offer a few options like quesadillas, nachos, and so on, but not much.

- Service: Same great personable service.

- Atmosphere: Everything is clean and new.

They have two pool tables and they are in great shape. They cost $1, which is the going price for a game of pool these days. They also have dart boards, but we do not use them and cannot speak to that. They have an ATM machine and change machine.

The wood flooring brings new vibrancy. The walls are clean. Everything feels new (because it is). Some of the paraphernalia includes mild adult material, so I would not bringing kids.

- Conclusion: Glad to see The Web back on their feet better than before. I enjoy coming to play pool. Hope to have a burger there soon.

“Recommend… with qualifiers…the service from the staff, being greeted by the valet staff, front desk staff, concierge, etc was phenomenal! The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable… but… little things like dirty glasses in the bathroom, soap scum around the bathroom faucets, lack of seating (other than one desk chair) in the room is unacceptable in a high-end hotel. Disappointed there was no room service for breakfast or really any real breakfast options… I had better options at the 11 Best Western properties I stayed in during a 2023 two week road trip - full buffets (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, fruit, juice/milk, toast, bagels etc… INCLUDED as part of my reservation… ) the only breakfast option at the Amway Grand is grab-and-go cr*p… for an additional charge…from the Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter… located in the first floor of the hotel… As part of the “Curio Collection” of Hilton, and for the price of the room, I expect better. I never minded paying for room service as it was well worth the convenience,especially when staying for a business conference that has minimal time available to seek other more palatable options…Hotel was much better when run by the Amway company… I’d give the Amway Grand 2.5 stars at the most…“

“Was in town for some concerts and I'm a sucker for a good Irish Pub. This place did not disappoint. Mary was fantastic behind the bar! Atmosphere was everything you'd want in an Irish Pub. Perfect pints of Guinness and don't get me going on the Irish whiskey selection! This will be my forever concert pre-game spot in GR! Hell, I may drive the 2.5 hrs just for a Pub visit!“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“
