“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“Music was a bit loud and cluby, which I thought was weird. We got three courses. The first 2 (grilled prawns and pastas) were 10/10, some of the best food I've had, but the final main dish (pork chop for me) lacked balance. The first few bites were impressive but the richness eventually exhausted my palette. more like an 8.5/10. The food was in general great and very high quality and well thought out. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere felt mostly sophisticated.

Overall, I'm pleased with my experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for elevated Italian food on this side of the Atlantic.“

The cheese is 100% real mozzarella, mini pepporni is a plus .

He and I are both foodies and love going on adventures for restaurants that go a step above in both food taste, presentation, atmosphere and service. And I'm here to tell you that Alfanos hit all of these with flying colors. Cody and Alex were our bartenders/servers. They were excellent. I had the Chicken picata and it was off the chart with flavor and presentation not to mention a healthy serving. Delicious is all I kept saying. Compliments to the chef!!!!! My goodness I can't wait to go and try something else. My husband had the chicken parmesan dinner and too was very pleased.
