“Simply the best! Came here last night for dinner based on the reviews and was not disappointed! Me and my boyfriend are huge foodies in Chicago and the food was amazing (and hefty portions) (Parisian gnocchi and the calamari were the best!!), recommendations were spot on, and the service was impeccable. A waitress (not ours) fixed our table when she noticed it was wobbling, our waiter checked in on us and provided prompt service and was so pleasant to talk to. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Grand Rapids! And believe the reviews :)“

In the fair town of Grand Rapids, I didst venture with my daughter and her beau for a midday feast. We didst await the arrival of my younger son, who, alas, was ensnared by the wiles of a phone carrier down the lane. Thus, we tarried long, our bellies growling like a chorus of hungry wolves, ere we did place our orders.

Our noble waiter, with the patience of Job and the grace of a saint, didst attend to our every need. He kept our goblets filled and our breadsticks plentiful, until we did finally succumb and order without my absent son.

I, in my infinite wisdom, didst choose the Chicken Alfredo with broccoli, whilst my daughter didst partake in the Tour of Italy, and her swain didst opt for the Shrimp Alfredo. Verily, we did fill ourselves with bread and salad, leaving scant room for our entrees. The food, most delectable, didst delight our palates. I consumed but half of mine, my daughter a mere quarter, and her beau, a valiant 90%.

Yet, I did find my dish lacking in salt, and thus did I sprinkle it liberally, feeling much like a madman in my endeavor. “More salt!” I cried, as if summoning the very sea to my plate. Upon our departure, my son did call, inquiring of our whereabouts, much to our amusement.

The grounds were well-kept, the establishment clean, and our waiter, a paragon of attentiveness. Thus, I do declare, if thou seekest a place of fine fare and excellent service, look no further than the Olive Garden on Alpine Ave.

“Excellent Italian food. Tonight Philip Pletcher and I enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs in vodka sauce (me) and eggplant parmigiana (Phil). Both dishes were delicious. We finished with a slice of lemon cake which we split. Service was friendly and efficient. This was our fourth visit in the past few weeks. It has become a favorite dining spot. It has live music often.“

“Walking by and spontaneously decided to get a pizza to take back to the hotel (Tuesday evening 5:30) . The host kindly directly me to the takeout counter. The very friendly young man took my order, everything came out perfectly. I was glad he offered utensils because I forgot to ask. We got the thin crust pepperoni - it was fantastic! Crispy edges, nice cheesy pull, great taste. Very glad we stopped. Great service and food!“

“The food is great. From pizza to chicken tenders to bruschetta, you can't go wrong! The real draw though is Leilani (sp?). She is FAR & AWAY the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Been coming here every Saturday for the past two months and the way she handles groups of 15 with ease is beyond impressive. For example: last weekend I ordered chicken tenders, a bit of ranch spilled over the fries, nothing worthy of a complaint or mention. Nevertheless about 6 minutes later out comes a FREE piping hot basket of golden brown fries. She had the customer service skills and requested the chef whip up a complimentary batch. She is the reason we all come back. Constantly going above and beyond and friendly as can be.“

Jad was our server and he went above and beyond. one of our party choked and went into cardiac arrest, and Jad performed the heimlich and cpr for 30 minutes. afterwards he performed a thrilling rendition of "all the single ladies" for us to make us feel better. he slayed, we love Jad ❤“

“Our first time trying Greco's. The Pizza and Breadsticks were delicious. My only complaint is I ordered two extra sauces and I ensured she heard me. She even repeated it back to me as well. My husband picked up the order and they told him the extra sauces were in the boxes (also on the reciept). He didn't check and trusted them and they were not. Disappointed as we ran out of sauce for our breadsticks. We will still order again most likely.“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“Never been to the Bistro Bella Vita - got lost trying to find it once, but decided to hunt for it for my wife's birthday. (Did have three GPS working to find it - but rather easy). It was Restaurant Week in Grand Rapids, and after a quick scan of the menu - we went with the Restaurant Week special - figs stuffed with gorgonzola cheese, a delightful salad, and potato gnocchi with duck. Tiramisu for dessert. Service was great, as was the food. Glad we finally found this place! We will be back.“

“Their New York style pizza crust was a pretty good take on NY pizza, but the rest of the pie was not NY. I am not from NY but have spent my share of time on nybpizza quests in all 5 boros. This pie way too much of the mozzarella they brag about that was loaded on a sauce that has ZERO to do with the basil/ fennel sweetness of a NY pie. To serve a NY pie, you can't use a detroit sauce and it is essential to use a blend of cheeses instead of overdoing the mozzarella to the point of being the rubbery schmotz we received. Place was clean, phone order was efficient and our pies were ready when we arrived. As for detroit style pizza?... it's not my thing. In a pinch I would go to a jets again for cleanliness, service, and great attitude... but the food is not my fave“

“We ordered a two topping pizza with bacon and mushrooms as well as BBQ wings. They were both amazing! This will definitely be our go-to pizza place when we are in the area!
Staff is amazing and extremely helpful. My daughter can't have dairy, so she got the wings. Instead of telling me they aren't sure what contains dairy and what does not, the staff was very helpful in finding something for her to eat.

Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a rare metabolic disorder and her body can not digest the sugars in lactose or galactose, so it is extremely difficult to find take-out foods for her to eat. The staff was extremely helpful finding her something to eat on their menu!“

“I had a great experience here. I didn't buy the pizza, someone else did, but it was really good. Great deep dish pizzas, plenty of parking and relatively easy to access.

Parking: The parking lot is surrounding the building and connects to both streets at the intersection, there are plenty of parking spaces available usually.“
