“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“We were at Garden District last night.The food and cocktails were absolutely amazing! Our server Brook and all of the other staff were fast, friendly, and on point.We shared the BBQ shrimp, beignets, and the seafood platter. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. “It is always a joy to visit Boardwalk subs on plainfield ave in Grand Rapids, MI the staff on duty especially: Tammy, Matt, Marissa, and Natashia all know us by name and what kind of sub we like. They are so friendly and happy to see us each time we visit. They work so well as a team each helping each other out. The subs are extraordinary good, only one of the reasons we keep going back. “We had a wrong item with our order and for how busy this place was, the fries were all cold. Very disappointing for how much money you spend on a few sandwiches and fries.

My main concern was the cleanliness of this location. Cleanliness greatly affects our eating experience at restaurants with our young children. The stacks of highchairs looked like they have never been wiped off. The doors all had handprint grease smudges ALL over them
(more than just a days worth). The floors looked like they had not been swept at all that day. These are just a few examples.“

“I got here at 10:15 today. Unfortunately they were not serving breakfast which was what I was looking forward too, but they let me wait in the dining room and I got a free meal from it!! “Whoever worked Monday September 14th around 245pm understands good food and good service. Let me start by saying if dubble wrapping an Olga sandwich stops it from getting stuck on nasty paper if you need to warm it up PLEASE keep double wrapping it. Ive noticed when there is 2 foils it doesnt stick to the wax paper when you try to warm it up. If it was just letting them cool before putting them on that wax paper wrap then let them cool. Second these olgas are cooked PERFECT TONIGHT. Just look at them. Alot of time they come uncooked, stuck in wax paper and just meh... So whoever worked on this night needs to be noticed. This was the best night ive literally ever order and ate Olgas.“

From the complimentary treats provided to turn frowns upside down after my son hurt himself to the refusal to allow me to clean up after the mess we made... “oh no ma’am, that’s my job you don’t worry about it, I’ll take care of it”. “We got here right at opening and were the only customers there the whole time: but it was SO NICE! We had a 3 year old dining with us, and we sampled most of all the soups.
The adults especially liked the chicken pot pie soup. Their sandwiches were also quite delicious! Sandwiches tried were the Turkey Club and the California Club-the sauces... *Chefs kiss*

Since we're traveling, Hayden provided excellent service in recommending other places to eat/visit while we were in town. It was an awesome experience here.

However allow people to order 50$ worth of food through the drive through making everyone wait for them is completely bs. Other fast food will make them pull up or place and online order! Should have a maximum on drive through!“

“I came in today and got a window seat to enjoy a cup of coffee. This location is so noisy, and the speaker right above me was blaring music at about 74 decibels. I don't think the employees in the back are aware of how loud the sound is when you are sitting underneath the speakers. I am having to leave because the volume was a serious annoyance. I asked twice for them to turn it down, and it's still just as loud: 74 decibels. Hearing loss starts at 75 decibels. Since the pandemic all restaurant have been playing music way too loud. 55-60 decibels is plenty loud enough for background music. Background music should be exactly that, background.“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about this wonderful Chick-fil-A location! I am not a review writer ever but wow, I’m a sucker for good customer service and the manager at this location goes above and beyond. John G. Embodies customer service to a tee. This man told my friend and I with our kids a couple weeks ago about the kids eat free Tuesdays and the following week we were there. This man took the time to bring our kids stickers, after his shift took a few extra mins to check in and make sure we were enjoying our food and then he said the line that every single mom wants to hear, as we were all staring at the mess our kids made this man says “don’t worry about cleaning up, that’s why you come here right? We got it.” Done, sir, you have a customer for life in me! Thank you again for making our visit so so special!“
