“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“It is always a joy to visit Boardwalk subs on plainfield ave in Grand Rapids, MI the staff on duty especially: Tammy, Matt, Marissa, and Natashia all know us by name and what kind of sub we like. They are so friendly and happy to see us each time we visit. They work so well as a team each helping each other out. The subs are extraordinary good, only one of the reasons we keep going back. I will continue going to boardwalk subs always.“

“The food was good on my end. My man had a small clump of hair in his food. They actually took his food off the bill due to the hair! The really made our stay better! I got the tour of Italy and my man had the 5 Cheese ziti besides that our experience was great. Unfortunately had to put 4 stars on the food just because of the hair. Awhile back I ordered online and my food was delivered through a 3rd party company .... They delivered it to the wrong house! BUT, BUT, BUT that was NOT Pita Way's fault. The owner of Pita Way reached out to me quickly after the failed delivery and made it beyond right. I was SO impressed with the quality of service. I tell everyone what an example of customer service the owner displayed. Plus, their food is delicious!“

“First time my boyfriend and I ate local, AND First time in GR!!! We really loved the servers, they were just really sweet, humorous, and caring. “I am super disappointed in the change that this Chick-fil-A has made to their drive-through. They have the mobile through that was super convenient. But now it doesn’t matter if you use mobile through because they emerge everyone into one lane and you could end up behind four people that pulled in after you. So there’s no point in using the mobile through anymore. Except that you don’t know until you turn the corner which lane you wanna be in. And by then you’re stuck. Again super frustrating.“

“This was my first encounter with Chick-fil-A in my adult life. I have since visited countless of times. It’s always been there for me: after good days and bad ones, in the middle of finals week, the end of a busy one, and after a crappy date. It’s reliable and consistent (which is more than many people are these days). I even missed the first 15 minutes of Dune to make a stop here before my movie. I think about this particular location every now and then.“

“We got here right at opening and were the only customers there the whole time: but it was SO NICE! We had a 3 year old dining with us, and we sampled most of all the soups.
The adults especially liked the chicken pot pie soup. Their sandwiches were also quite delicious! Sandwiches tried were the Turkey Club and the California Club-the sauces... *Chefs kiss*

Since we're traveling, Hayden provided excellent service in recommending other places to eat/visit while we were in town. It was an awesome experience here.

However allow people to order 50$ worth of food through the drive through making everyone wait for them is completely bs. Other fast food will make them pull up or place and online order! “I came in today and got a window seat to enjoy a cup of coffee. This location is so noisy, and the speaker right above me was blaring music at about 74 decibels. I don't think the employees in the back are aware of how loud the sound is when you are sitting underneath the speakers. I am having to leave because the volume was a serious annoyance. I asked twice for them to turn it down, and it's still just as loud: 74 decibels. Hearing loss starts at 75 decibels. Since the pandemic all restaurant have been playing music way too loud. 55-60 decibels is plenty loud enough for background music. Background music should be exactly that, background.“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about this wonderful Chick-fil-A location! I am not a review writer ever but wow, I’m a sucker for good customer service and the manager at this location goes above and beyond. John G. Embodies customer service to a tee. This man told my friend and I with our kids a couple weeks ago about the kids eat free Tuesdays and the following week we were there. This man took the time to bring our kids stickers, after his shift took a few extra mins to check in and make sure we were enjoying our food and then he said the line that every single mom wants to hear, as we were all staring at the mess our kids made this man says “don’t worry about cleaning up, that’s why you come here right? We got it.” Done, sir, you have a customer for life in me! Thank you again for making our visit so so special!“
