“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“It is always a joy to visit Boardwalk subs on plainfield ave in Grand Rapids, MI the staff on duty especially: Tammy, Matt, Marissa, and Natashia all know us by name and what kind of sub we like. They are so friendly and happy to see us each time we visit. They work so well as a team each helping each other out. The subs are extraordinary good, only one of the reasons we keep going back. “We were at Garden District last night.The food and cocktails were absolutely amazing! I got the tour of Italy and my man had the 5 Cheese ziti besides that our experience was great. Unfortunately had to put 4 stars on the food just because of the hair. “We show up to this lovely restaurant for a pre-exam breakfast and we had the laugh of a lifetime and it was a very good atmosphere and the food just backed it up and made it better. “Been a few months since I've been to this location. Turns out they've redesigned their drive-thru so that if you're using mobile-thru you have to take a completely different entrance into the parking lot than what you used to. You can't even get into that line without leaving the parking lot, going out into the street and reentering through the other entrance. So when you get in the wrong line, it becomes a big catastrophe trying to get your food.“

“I rolled in two minutes before they closed, the guy behind the counter was super kind and did not make me feel rushed at all. Got half a BLT and ate it there, again no sense of rushing me out. Great food, great service, saved my life needing a quick snack before court next door!“

I had the opportunity to talk with the manager Jenica very pleasant helpful said Hello to everyone I was so well pleased with the service I asked how do I contact the general manager to my surprise she happened to be in the building her name was Tara Champion just as amazing Jenica this staff know how to work and Win as a team you know you have amazing staff when your manager and general manager is just as great as their staff they executed excellence in the highest over and beyond my expectation great atmosphere food great price and lots of laugh job well done the owner needs to do something amazing for this staff today I applaud you for a job. “Stopped by Zoup for a quick dinner at 5pm. The inside was clean and I was greeted as I entered the door, which I always appreciate. A young man took my order and brought my food to me at my table, which is great service.

I got the loaded baked potato, which was very good. Though it seemed like some of the potato had started to melt and made it a little ticker than I would like, but not enough to spoil it.

Overall, decent food, good service and not terribly expensive. Always good for a quick lunch or dinner!“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about this wonderful Chick-fil-A location! I am not a review writer ever but wow, I’m a sucker for good customer service and the manager at this location goes above and beyond. John G. Embodies customer service to a tee. This man told my friend and I with our kids a couple weeks ago about the kids eat free Tuesdays and the following week we were there. This man took the time to bring our kids stickers, after his shift took a few extra mins to check in and make sure we were enjoying our food and then he said the line that every single mom wants to hear, as we were all staring at the mess our kids made this man says “don’t worry about cleaning up, that’s why you come here right? We got it.” Done, sir, you have a customer for life in me! Thank you again for making our visit so so special!“

“I came in today and got a window seat to enjoy a cup of coffee. This location is so noisy, and the speaker right above me was blaring music at about 74 decibels. I don't think the employees in the back are aware of how loud the sound is when you are sitting underneath the speakers. I am having to leave because the volume was a serious annoyance. I asked twice for them to turn it down, and it's still just as loud: 74 decibels. Hearing loss starts at 75 decibels. Since the pandemic all restaurant have been playing music way too loud. 55-60 decibels is plenty loud enough for background music. Background music should be exactly that, background.“
