“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“I can't say enough about Fumi and the wonderful experience we have had with her in June and again yesterday. My husband and I did the scallops in June and yesterday four of us did the lamb. Fumi's attention to detail and responding to all our numerous questions went way above and beyond. We purchased 10 gift certificates which we look forward to using. I'm pretty bummed the food was 45min to 1 hour wait on a Wednesday though, which did not work for me, but I'm happy they are busy and I'm sure it is well deserved. Saving 5 stars for when I can finally try the Birria menu when they aren't slammed. For the record the beer was outstanding and I would come back just for the Elegant Elephant!“

From the second we walked in, the energy was fantastic. Let’s start with the food, because it completely lived up to the hype. Those legendary Cosmik Fries are worth every bit of praise they get; that signature cracked pepper seasoning paired with the warm cheese sauce is pure perfection. Beyond the fries, the entire spread was flawless—comfort food executed at the highest level, paired with a massive, expertly curated tap list that makes any beer lover feel right at home.

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. “I've used NBC for two events now and ordered a variety of flavors in the bundtini's for both events. Each time the bundtini's were a major hit! There have been very few left overs each time, much to my dismay.😉Ordering and pick up is a breeze, you can tell they do catering/orders regularly and they have their systems down. The price point is really affordable in my opinion. I will probably continue to use them if I need desserts at an event again in the future. Easy decision, and very tasty.“

“I just got these cookies today and I had to come and review them. There I was minding my own business when all of a sudden I see a little cart with cookies on it. My eyes absolutely lit up when I saw the beautiful words “GLUTEN FREE”. I got the lemon one and the chocolate chip one and my friends…. Oh my friends it’s sooooo good! She even had a vegan one that my daughter was able to eat and LOVE as well! I am absolutely tickled to have found these. I want to try them ALLLLLL!“
