He was attentive but not overbearing (refilled my drink silently before I even thought to ask for a refill) and overall, I think he does a fantastic job as a waiter. Great demeanor, easygoing and kind. The food was great and came out promptly and was hot too. Overall very pleased.“
“I see that the restaurant is reading these reviews, which I love, so I'm going to register my one and only complaint here without dinging the stars because I really do love this place..... But please fix the rice krispie treats!!!! They used to be so good, so perfectly textured, and perfectly moist (that's not the word I'm looking for but you catch my drift.) The last two times I've gone, which were both within the last 6 months, the rice krispie treats are dry and sad and not good. Like, not even a little good. The marshmallow to krispie ratio is way off, or they're old and dry or something. The rest of the food (main entrees) are still always perfection. I love this place. But please, I'm begging you, fix the rice krispie treats!!!!“

“Amazing experience. They were incredibly sweet when we ordered on the phone and when I arrived the lady was really friendly. She asked me about my day and job and just genuinely kept me engaged in easy conversation while they finished up. We ordered subs and they were divine. The ham and cheese was exactly what you want in a ham and cheese, and the buffalo chicken was incredible. The salad was delicious too. Definitely our new sub spot.“
“My husband and I decided to try a cooking class to celebrate Valentines Day. We could not have had a better experience! We made a garlic lemon vinaigrette wedge salad and chicken Parm with fresh made pasta, followed by vanilla Gelato. Our instructor Jessica was super friendly, helpful, extremely personable, and knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back and try another recipe! We had a couple of drinks while we were cooking, which were also delicious. They have a ton of specialty pastas, cheeses, wines, oils, etc, so we came home with new things to try as well. We are looking forward to visiting Jessica again, although the entire staff was exemplary!“
“Lias pizza has to be the best pizza place that I have ever been too. There pizza is amazing and the employees were so nice and very friendly. They didn’t just have pizza we also got the cookie dessert which was delicious and the subs were great too. There is not one bad thing that I can think of about Lias Pizza. I highly recommend than everyone in the Kentwood area should go to Lias Pizza.“
“Within Grand Rapids, The Cheese Lady is the closest to gourmet vegan cheese to be found. They usually have multiple options of vegan cheeses with varying style, flavors, and textures. It is not the widest selection of vegan cheeses I have seen at a fromagerie, but I am very thankful for the vegan options they have. Depending on availability, they usually have 3 to 5 cheese options. Speaking with the cashier, she shared that the vegan cheeses are regionally crafted within Michigan, but not in-house. Regardless, the vegan options are rotating and fresh because of them being locally sourced. It is nice to see new options when I visit, and it is nice that they allow sampling of all the flavors. “We stopped after a visit to House Rules across the street, and.the Happy Cat Cafe before that, and it was fantastic as always. I tried their Amaretto Cherry for the first time, and absolutely loved it.Kid-friendliness: Many traditional favorite flavors, but plenty of fun ones for the more adventurous kids or for grown-ups.“
“I was tagged in a post today that my name was on the board for a free cupcake (1st timer) And I was in the area so I stopped in for that and a few treats for the rest of the family. The young lady that was working this evening had a great recommendation on the cupcake, absolutely delicious. cookies n creme, just do it (in the fridge ? ) but what was even better was her customer service and she was such a sweet girl. She was welcoming, smiling and very nice, we chatted for a couple minutes. Good recommendations for treats. I've worked in customer service for close to 20 years and it's the young ladies like that that make going places a better experience and I give credit where credit is due. well done. five stars directly to the young lady working this evening April 1st! will definitely be back!“
