“Food is delicious, takeout orders frequently wrong. This is the best food in Kalamazoo, but they’ve gotten my takeout order wrong five times in just 2025. This is nothing new for this place as I’ve been coming since 2013 and I’ve had so many mix ups. The workers are polite and friendly, and everything is always delicious. Would recommend you eat in person.“

“We stopped at the Summer Thyme Cafe for lunch on our way to Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with little booths and tables for dining in. The menu has a great variety of salads and sandwiches, so it was hard to decide what to order! I chose the Chicken Pecan salad, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh; the serving size was generous but not overwhelming. My husband had the Cobb salad, and it was very good too. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The cafe is conveniently located about 0.5 miles from the highway-easy on/easy off. I would definitely recommend this cute little cafe for lunch and look forward to stopping there again when I'm passing through Kalamazoo. PS-the desserts looked amazing! Fresh pies,cake, bars etc. [We're trying to avoid sweets so we didn't partake-but it was tempting].

“I went in, with hopes of getting a birthday cake for a significant person in my life. The individual helping me at the desk listened to me and gave me options for a potential same day cake and within reason I was able to get something that would be very meaningful. Absolute Champs in this Bakery. 10/10 times recommend coming here“

“You were a first suggestion from a local hotel. We went with it and boy were we glad we did! First thing noticed was the delicate yet beautiful land scape. Upon entering we were greeted with many “good mornings” :) it felt good. The colors of the establishment really make you feel welcomed. It was not hectic or crazy or loud yet the machine was working so beautifully. Our waiter was incredibly kind and on top of the coffee refills! The food….. my goodness how can we forget that…. I mean y’all are a restaurant right!! I swear it felt like I was reviewing something for better homes and gardens…. The food was priced well below average I’d say. But the portions were over achieved. Both of us were over satisfied with our visit. Thank you…. Great/ impeccable service is hard to find! Way to go management/owner!!!!“

“Met the owner through my retail workplace. Got to talking about his restaurant and how I’d never tried it since not being from the area, amongst other things. This man brought lunch back to us and the pizza was PHENOMENAL!!! Thank you again sir!!! Bbq Chicken pizza is highly recommended, minus the pineapple (unless you’re into that sort of thing!) lol“

“Martell’s has a wide array of options, however I came here to highlight the mushroom soup. All I want is SOUP! 🤩 It’s neat that they utilize West Michigan Pasta & Provision’s in their pasta entrees, as this man is often at the farmers market - bonus points for emphasizing sustainable sourcing! 🧑‍🍳 Proud to support this long standing establishment. 🥰“

“First time customer and was very surprised that Bert's Bakery - Comstock had so many non food items. There is a big assortment of candles, puzzles, cards, figurines and more! I was expecting a bakery only so the additional items were a bonus. The woman running the business was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!As for the bakery, I ordered a vanilla cake slice with coconut cream. Delicious! There was a nice selection of cake slices and I think three different types of cookies to choose from. That was all I saw. Don't know if they serve drinks or anything else.“

“In town for work and ordered DoorDash from here. First the dasher was awesome and says it smelled so good I told my gf to order some and I’m Going to pick it up now lol. The wings are amazing. The pizza was excellent and everything was really hot. Great restaurant“

“I got a turtle sundae, and it greatly surpassed my expectations. I thought it would be just a regular small sundae with the typical toppings. But Frosty Boy really did a wonderful job, with the addition of whipped cream, waffle come waffer, and a cherry on top. The pecans are salted, but it's just enough to complement the sweetness of the ice cream.“
