“I think it’s up for debate what our wedding guests loved more, seeing us get married or this food. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We were able to make a menu that not only accommodated vegans, vegetarians, nut allergies, and gluten sensitivities, but also provided a complete meal for those guests. We heard from just about every one of our 140+ guests how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Many of the guests were not familiar with Mediterranean food, but they left with a new favorite cuisine. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the process and were very enthusiastic about giving us the best experience possible. We would highly recommend them for anything from dining in to catering larger events.“

“We were celebrating Dad’s 90th birthday and had the main course catered in from Summer Thyme cafe. Chris and Steve came to set up the pot roast, potatoes, gravy and veggies. The meal was excellent!! Warm and tasty. We didn’t get desserts because we had a birthday cake. Thank you for making our celebration so nice.“

“My review will be based on customer service . I was desperate to find a cake to be delivered to a friend of mine who had just been placed in hospice on his birthday today. I have been looking for someone who could deliver a for almost 4 days, but due to the remoteness of his home I was turned down. I was referred to Bert's bakery. Rita answered the phone and listened to my story. Within 15 minutes the order was placed and delivered today as well . Although my friend is very ill, he enjoyed having a piece of cake for his birthday along with his brother and two sons. They said the Almond poppy seed cake was delicious. My friend said that he did not remember the last time he blew out a birthday candle. Thank you Rita for making this happen and having the Compassionate Heart that you do. This made my day as well .
