“The best place downtown to get coffee. amazing atmosphere with their indoor greenhouse, awesome pastries and fresh bagels made every day. They also have homemade soup often including home grown ingredients.“

Looked great, tasted great and the cost well it was very very reasonable with all the extra specifications I asked for. I will use this bakery for all my cakes and what ever else I made need.“

“I have never had a bad experience here! The food is SO good and they have so many delicious vegan options ❤️. Our server today was Lizzy and she was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Got the order exactly right, checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we need. We got food to go for some ones birthday and she wrote Happy Birthday on the bag . She was really funny and a lot of fun to talk to. I would love to have her as my server again!“

“First time customer and was very surprised that Bert's Bakery - Comstock had so many non food items. There is a big assortment of candles, puzzles, cards, figurines and more! I was expecting a bakery only so the additional items were a bonus. The woman running the business was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!As for the bakery, I ordered a vanilla cake slice with coconut cream. Delicious! There was a nice selection of cake slices and I think three different types of cookies to choose from. That was all I saw. Don't know if they serve drinks or anything else.“

“I drive up from Hillsdale to see my cardiologist and I always make it a point to go out to a nice restaurant, something I don’t have available to me in Hillsdale and we discovered Martell’s. I now every time I come to Kalamazoo make sure to go for lunch at Martell’s. Today I wasn’t able to eat regular food because I had some dental surgery, I asked the waitress if the kitchen would be willing to blend up their mushroom soup so I could eat it and they gladly did, which I am very thankful for and I thoroughly enjoyed having something tasty to enjoy. I was also able to have a piece of the amazing tiramisu since that takes no real chewing also. They also make a very good old-fashioned.“

“So I’m from Battle Creek, I was in Kalamazoo for the Battle Creek central and Kalamazoo central football game as I’m a school bus driver, we originally planning on going out to dinner, but with rain in the forecast, we wasn’t allowed to leave. So with us having no cash, only debit cards, the concession stands don’t take debit, Pizza Hut was 3 hours for delivery, another place wanted to charge us $25 for delivery, so we called cottage inn, the guy over the phone was very helpful, very pleasant to deal with, the delivery driver was amazing, he found us with no issues at all. Thank you so much from 3 starving school bus drivers..“

“I got a turtle sundae, and it greatly surpassed my expectations. I thought it would be just a regular small sundae with the typical toppings. But Frosty Boy really did a wonderful job, with the addition of whipped cream, waffle come waffer, and a cherry on top. The pecans are salted, but it's just enough to complement the sweetness of the ice cream.“

“Always a good place to go with our family. The last time we did go the portions were a bit smaller and they didn't put as much meat as they used to. I understand that they need to adjust food/prices due to cost. But I would rather pay a little more then get less food.“
