“Maple walnut. My wife is originally from Kalamazoo MI. I am currently deployed she knows I love coffee and sent me Kalamazoo coffee. This is amazing and I love coffee beans. The flavor is amazing and my crew loved it. Will def order again for every deployment. Thank you for producing the best coffee!“
“I went to this place when it was in Kalamazoo Michigan on the mall area downtown. My first expressions was overwhelming how many teas and spices they had. Well overwhelming until the lady behind the counter helped. She explained stuff very well. Came in feeling overwhelmed at the selection left feeling not overwhelmed but satisfied that service was great. I roast coffee at home. There is lots of videos and help online. When it comes to video about creating tea at home not so much. Just how to brew tea. Also can't find anywhere to buy tea leaves in raw state so I can create my own brand of tea. Please could you help me out.“
“Best kept secret in KalamazooBerries Pancake HouseBreakfast served all day longThey have many other options for lunch & dinner I try something different each time I come.. Definitely bringing my family for breakfast grandsons love pancakes & sausageI've been there about 4 xs now..Staff very friendly Thank you Berries!!“
“Randomly passed by on Saturday and decided to stop in for a hot chocolate - we were in luck because they had a hot chocolate bar menu! I enjoyed the Turtle while my husband had a Mayan. We also ordered a Miracle cookie bar because they are my favorite cookie. This place took yum to a high level!Dietary restrictions: They have non-milk options.“
“Came for breakfast on St Paddys and sat at Liddie B's table by the window. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. We waited downstairs at the coffee shop (same owner) until our table was ready. Very convenient! We enjoyed the brioche french toast, breakfast potatoes, wheat toast, eggs over medium, a biscuit, and the vegan philly cheese sandwich with waffle sweet potato fries. Everything was really tasty. The biscuit was very flat and not flaky but still tasted decent. The rest was exceptionally amazing! The place was decorated funky and had a hip vibe. The crowd was diverse, not just a bunch of hipsters. Of course it would have to be when the food and service are this good!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options! A whole vegan section. Some sweet breads made in house are vegan.“
“Let me tell you about my absolute favorite coffee spot in Kalamazoo! It's seriously the best. They make these mind-blowing smoked sea salt maple lattes that I am obsessed with. I always go for the 16oz triple iced version with oat milk. Trust me, you've gotta try it and thank me later. And let me just say, Megan (the owner) & John who work there are the absolute best. They always make my latte just right. They also have an awesome collection of local art that you can actually buy. It's such a cool way to support local artists and bring a piece of Kalamazoo home with you. And if you're into Kombucha like I am, you'll be thrilled to know that they have a wide selection.I can't recommend this place enough. It's a total gem in Kalamazoo. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!“
“I prefer this location compared to all of the others. The building itself is lovely, and has a nice atmosphere. Their menu is accommodating for those who are planted based or have food allergies. I highly recommend trying the chocolate oat bars or quiches!“
“Stopped by to check it out a couple weeks ago and had a great time! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I got myself a hot chocolate, it was better then most coffee shop hot cocoas I get. It was very creamy. This price was also lower then my usual place. My roommate got some iced chai and said it was pretty good, but she talked about her bagel for the rest of the week she loved it so much. The atmosphere was pretty modern, its almost got a sleek industrial feel? I prefer a more cozy feel, but it felt pretty appropriate for downtown. The day I went, it was pretty crowded inside, there there was plenty of seating outside which is probably great in the summer.I'll definitely stop in next time I'm putzing around downtown.“
“This is a great little cafe in a perfect location nearing downtown Kalamazoo. Very friendly staff and a clean/new atmosphere. They even have a private meeting room with a large screen monitor that I used to review a report with my client. I will definitely be back.“
“Excellent customer service all around! The barista’s are friendly and thoughtful which gives to a more personalized experience. This chain runs at a greater efficiency than any other Biggby I’ve been to. It seems management encourages a positive work atmosphere. Bravo!“
“Spent my teens here many nights 20 years ago. Hasn't changed much for the better. Not sure if you can still get Crowes Nest delivered downstairs, but that's where the food is at. Cheap coffee and chess sets are for the cafe. Keep doing you.“
“I went today and got a coffee and a double chocolate donut, which is my absolute favorite, so tasty. I paid and got it to go, but when I got into my car I found two donuts in my bag!! That was very sweet and kind, yall made my day! Thank you sweetwaters❤️❤️❤️“
“Cute place. We went on a Saturday. It was nice and busy. My over medium eggs were well done. Hashbrowns were dry. Being as it was busy I didn't complain, just ate it. The rye bread was fabulous. Our waitress was very pleasant. I would definitely try again on another day.“
“Dropped by while I was in town on vacation not expecting it to be some of the best donuts I've ever had! The customer service was amazing, good prices, cute little shop environment as well! I had a coconut donut which is hard to find and it was so good! 10/10 would come again!“
“Honestly my favorite coffee shop in all of Kalamazoo! It’s right within walking distance of work and I would go here everyday if I could. It’s family owned and the ladies who work here are so wonderful. They remember who I am and always ask about my day which makes the experience all more personable. The coffee is amazing and within a reasonable price even with the rising costs. I love to take time out of my day for coffee, but these ladies are the reason I keep coming back to Something’s Brewing.“
“This place serves hands-down the best coffee we've ever had! During our road trip across Iowa, Illinois, and mainly Michigan, we've tried coffee from countless spots, but none come close to this gem. I'm telling you, if I could, I'd set up camp next door and savor their brew every single day. It's a pity this coffee haven is exclusive to Michigan. Nebraska, take notes – we need one of these ASAP!By the way, my girlfriend opted for an iced vanilla caramel latte with cold foam, while I kept it classic with an iced vanilla latte topped with whipped cream. Perfect choices for our coffee adventure!“
“I found this place while doing a series on the best bagels in Kalamazoo and this place has a special place in my heart ❤️ They have a wide variety of selection from green tea kit kats to chorizo bagels! The staff are so friendly, even gave me some cute candies to try today :) I even like their bagels sooo much, I started making them at home but couldn’t replicate the love and soul they put into theirs!“
“I was greeted with a friendly smile by a barista before I even opened the door. I was surprised at how large the shop is! It's got a loveley atomosphere-very much a retro 70's vibe and a very OPEN layout. There's cute tables stationed throughout and the cutest decor and nice music. Probably my favorite coffee shop I've geen to! If you haven't gone, check it out and spend some time there :)“
“Hi! I haven’t been to this location, but I don’t know a more direct point of contact. I made an order to here by accident. I tried calling a couple times, but the voicemail isn’t set up. My order number is 107112243 if someone could cancel that. Thank you!!!“
“The food here is phenomenal. Their waffle selection is insanely good. Their freshly milled oatmeal is also the best oatmeal I've ever had. The biggest drawback is the service. The service can be super hit and miss, so be prepared. The food is so good that the service struggles aren't a big deal. This restaurant is definitely worth checking out.“
“The first time ever went to Midtown fresh was because of a Coffee Week Kalamazoo was having. Apparently, this was the first time local coffee businesses in Kalamazoo, initiated a coffee week as well. One of the first events that I'd chosen was a mug decorating event. I met lots of people during this event. We bonded over markers, donuts, and coffee. I do not remember the blend that my friend gave to me while I was working on my mug. But I do remember it having a creamy taste you at almost as if it was a latte. In truth, I didn't have my glasses on, so I don't even know lol Well, whatever it was I would definitely have it again! It was a wonderful way to learn about Midtown fresh Café! Talk to the barista when we weren't drawing, have some yummy pastries, and meet new people who are all bonding over coffee.“
“Just stopped in. Just wanna thank the barista working tonight I didn't catch her name but she was really nice and generous. Took a sip of both coffees and they are the best mochas I've tasted from Starbucks. Hope she's working again when I come in next.“
“The sweetest experience I've ever had going through a drive-thru. The woman who took my order was incredibly friendly, thorough, and had a cute personality. I even turned to my wife and said "that was the smoothest order I've ever given" right after I ordered over the little speaker system thing. The coffee was incredibly yummy and well made. Bring Biggby to Colorado!Vegetarian options: Vegan breakfast sandwich including vegan sausage“
“I love this sweet store but sure wish some of cashiers were friendly; went to one who never responded to my greeting, didn't tell me the total nor thanked me. Young people are making their way through the world but some encouragement from senior staff could be helpful. I know it's a hard job due to today's stresses and probably more cranky customers than nicer ones. Let's spread some love!“
“I ordered the dill and egg sandwich add bacon and a carmel latte the order process was efficient and fast but I sat at the window waiting for 20 min with multiple staff members asking me what I was waiting for I regret leaving a tip the food was great but NEVER do drive thru they are horrible just have time to go inside and wait drive through service needs to get worked on immediately .“
“I am so happy Water Street has a location here. My relative has been in the hospital and it’s been nice to have a place to relax and reflect. 4 different staff members have helped me over the past week, and all of them were really helpful. Thank you!“
“Loud, and Starbucks coffee is still terrible...but I have to give a shout out to the INCREDIBLE STAFF. Wow, the team KILLED IT today. Super busy, but everyone was focused, working together, being superhumanly patient with customers, etc. I can tell that they are being supported and led by their management team. Great job, everyone. Seriously. That's so rare.“
“A great take-out option! I'm always greeted with a smile at this location. They are knowledgeable about drink/food options. Even though I am a customer who can not have caffeine, there is always a wide variety of decaf options for me to choose from. Also, all food items I've had here have been very tasty. Thanks!“
“Was in town for the weekend. Most of the time Starbuck is my go too. This time I picked local. And it was great. Great service and great coffee. Got the brewed dark roast coffee and it was very enjoyable. This has started me looking for local coffee places now when I am in a new town.“
“Passing by saw a coffee ☕ chain never heard of. Kinda reminds me of Dunkin. Walk inside, warm welcome, answer my questions, gave a recommendation, employees are smiling and enjoying themselves. Seems they carry a little bit of everything for people, food, drinks, tea, coffee. Spots in here for people to sit down, use wifi and plug in laptops.“
“Stopped in after finding this spot based on reviews. Loved it so much we didn’t branch out on day 2- went back for more! Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fantastic coffee with homemade syrups (one of us is a purist and one likes flavor - both were great). Also have to say that the Asiago bagel was a top 3 bagel of all time. Don’t skip those!“
