“My review will be based on customer service . I was desperate to find a cake to be delivered to a friend of mine who had just been placed in hospice on his birthday today. I have been looking for someone who could deliver a for almost 4 days, but due to the remoteness of his home I was turned down. I was referred to Bert's bakery. Rita answered the phone and listened to my story. Within 15 minutes the order was placed and delivered today as well . Although my friend is very ill, he enjoyed having a piece of cake for his birthday along with his brother and two sons. They said the Almond poppy seed cake was delicious. My friend said that he did not remember the last time he blew out a birthday candle. Thank you Rita for making this happen and having the Compassionate Heart that you do. This made my day as well . I was sent a photo of the cake and it was beautiful“
“The guy who made our orders was the BEST! His coworker was a NO SHOW so he had to take a long line of orders all on his own on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30, 4pm. Wanted ta ask his name but I didn't want to disturb his flow.He did this like a champion, with grace, professionalism and most importantly with a SMILE and pleasant attitudeI thought that he was a manager. He wasn't but he definitely should be:-)“
“I ordered the gluten free carrot cake cupcakes for a work event, and they were a HUGE HIT! Everyone loved them and asked where I had gotten them from. I will definitely be ordering again soon! The cupcakes were super moist, cream cheese frosting was the right amount of sweetness to the large sized cupcake. I also ordered them on a Monday and was able to pick up Wednesday evening, thanks so much for the last minute order and the wonderful cupcakes! Can’t wait to try more flavors!“
“I can't say enough about how wonderful they are at Love at First Bite! I go there every year for birthday cakes for my kids! The cakes are delicious and they do a great job. For a few years during the pandemic, they weren't doing customized cakes but now they are doing it again - and the work is beautiful! I am so happy with how the cake for my daughter's 8th birthday turned out - beautiful and so yummy!“
