“4x4 grill did not deceive me at all. i was even better than i expected. the wings i ordered was incredible, the fries as well, and i got a free drink because it was monday. the hamburgers were amazing, too, according to my friends.
the lady that took out order and took take of our table was extremely nice as well.“

“Came in from out of town and made sure to check out a hockey themed bar being a live long hockey fan. Burger was good despite me not being super hungry. Service was great and our bartender/waitress was great. Only issue was this loud drunk couple swearing and yelling loudly at the bar, throwing F bombs and loudly calling people pussies. I watched the bartender tell him to tone it down a few times but the guy was just a loud belligerent drunk. I am no prude but I don’t go to a restaurant to listen to that. This was at 7:00 not 10:30. Glad I didn’t bring young children with me as that would have been an issue. Loved the place other than that.“

“I’ve been a regular here at university roadhouse for years! They’ve always got great specials to try, and they’re making sure to spice things up often!
Today I went in planning to get my usual, but I was looking at the fish sandwich special. I talked to Hayley V and she convinced me to try it out and it was fantastic! 10 stars to her, and her great attitude out there running around during the rushes they were having. Great employee and Super polite!
Also, I do have to shout out the bar tender working today too. Zoe is always polite and on top of everything! Thank you both for the great service today.“

We didn't like however that we bought $5 margaritas then when the bill came it was a $2 upcharge each to make them strawberry and prickly pear respectively. Just charge me $7 for the margarita upfront if it's going to be that way. $2 isn't a big deal but it felt like a gotcha. And it's stuff like that that actually makes me reconsider going to otherwise good restaurants. The customer's trust is more valuable than the sneaky upcharges. “my husband and I and my sister was just there Thursday 3/22/23 and the food was better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic im glad they had French vanilla creamer, my sister and I got the French toast with a side of ham and it was fantastic my husband got eggs, hashbrowns , toast , bacon and ham the service was fantastic as well .. “My group visited on Jan 2nd, and while everyone else's meals were fine, I was incredibly disappointed with the Pot Roast Stacker. I’ve had this dish at many restaurants, but this version was a massive letdown. Instead of tender pot roast, I was served dry, thin slices of lunch meat roast beef that tasted like a cheap 70s TV dinner. For such a simple meal, the quality was unacceptable. Save your money and order something else—avoid the pot roast at all costs.“

The even had a specialty beer for the mountain goats to work performing on their loan that night. Being able to have beer and then walk out back to say a grade concert was fantastic!“

“Went over for breakfast the other day while staying in the area. Not a fancy place, but good solid food. I enjoyed my veggie omelette and turkey sausage, although the omelette was a bit greasy. My wife liked her Alaska French toast and regular French toast. Our server was really good. She was friendly, attentive, didn't auction off the food and pre bussed our table. Prices are average and it's worth stopping by.“

Our food was fresh, hot, very good, chicken club wrap had fresh ingredients, yummy. Love the ice tea. Service was great too. It was a little after the lunch hour so not to many customers, but looks like cool place to go for dinner and pool or dart game with family and friends. Thanks will go again.“

When they were closed on Monday, we decided not to order breakfast at all rather than ordering from another establishment! The prices, sizes, and quality are great. Amazing vegetarian Apple squash burger (So delish!) and the “Beast” burger, Harvest salad, chili and cornbread, thick hand cut onion rings and brownie Sundae.
