“Came in from out of town and made sure to check out a hockey themed bar being a live long hockey fan. Burger was good despite me not being super hungry. Service was great and our bartender/waitress was great. Only issue was this loud drunk couple swearing and yelling loudly at the bar, throwing F bombs and loudly calling people pussies. I watched the bartender tell him to tone it down a few times but the guy was just a loud belligerent drunk. I am no prude but I don’t go to a restaurant to listen to that. This was at 7:00 not 10:30. Glad I didn’t bring young children with me as that would have been an issue. Loved the place other than that.“

Since the restaurant business isn't advertised, they maybe feed total of 5-20 people a night , rarely that it's 20.A new chef took over in April 2025, due to very little business the menu is small but very delicious. The chef is a culinarian of 28 years and also runs the banquets. Phenomenal food that I've experienced.“

“my husband and I and my sister was just there Thursday 3/22/23 and the food was better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic im glad they had French vanilla creamer, my sister and I got the French toast with a side of ham and it was fantastic my husband got eggs, hashbrowns , toast , bacon and ham the service was fantastic as well .. “My group visited on Jan 2nd, and while everyone else's meals were fine, I was incredibly disappointed with the Pot Roast Stacker. I’ve had this dish at many restaurants, but this version was a massive letdown. Instead of tender pot roast, I was served dry, thin slices of lunch meat roast beef that tasted like a cheap 70s TV dinner. For such a simple meal, the quality was unacceptable. Save your money and order something else—avoid the pot roast at all costs.“

“If you get the opportunity to be served by Logan and Jade downstairs, do not miss it under any circumstance. I haven’t been to downtown in a long time (I’m a country hick), and these two treated my group like we were the only people in the restaurant. As far as those two were concerned, we were royalty. While they were “just doing their jobs,” they were amazing. If the rest of the staff is half as good as these two, do not hesitate to stop in. We could not have dreamed of better service. I just hope we tipped enough for how they treated us.“

“Recommended by the hotel staff and I am so glad they did. We were not planning to stop by here but since the front desk staff mentioned it was a most visit we decided to walk there since it was only like 8 min from the hotel. I got a beer flight of 4 and hubby got 3 and all the beers were awesome and very reasonable price. We also ordered their hotdog and when I am telling it was good it cause it was AMAZING, probably hands down the best hotdog I had on a very long time.. that combination of the beef link, ham and shredder pork was something I never had before. We came for the beer but their snacks didn't disappointed.“

“Went over for breakfast the other day while staying in the area. Not a fancy place, but good solid food. I enjoyed my veggie omelette and turkey sausage, although the omelette was a bit greasy. My wife liked her Alaska French toast and regular French toast. Our server was really good. She was friendly, attentive, didn't auction off the food and pre bussed our table. Prices are average and it's worth stopping by.“

“We stopped in for brunch on a busy Sunday morning, and Darby was our server—hands down the highlight of the visit.
The place was packed, but she handled our table (party of 4) like a pro: greeted us right away with a genuine smile, took our drink orders quickly, and brought refills without us even asking. She knew the menu inside out—when I was torn between the eggs Benedict and the avocado toast, she gave honest recommendations based on what she’d seen people love that day, and she nailed it. My Benedict came out perfectly poached, hollandaise spot-on, and the avocado toast had just the right amount of everything.
She checked in at good intervals—never hovering, but always there when we needed something (extra hot sauce, a to-go box, splitting the check smoothly). Super attentive to details too: one of us mentioned being gluten-sensitive, and she double-checked with the kitchen to make sure everything was safe. The whole experience felt effortless and welcoming, like she actually cared that we had a great time.
Food was solid all around—generous portions,But honestly, Darby’s service elevated the whole meal. We’ve been to a lot of brunch spots, and it’s rare to get that level of friendly, efficient care without it feeling rushed or fake.
If you’re heading there, ask for Darby if you can—she’s great. We’ll definitely be back because of her. Highly recommend“

When they were closed on Monday, we decided not to order breakfast at all rather than ordering from another establishment! The prices, sizes, and quality are great. Highly recommend the omelettes and skillets! I love that I can build my own exactly how I like it without worrying about price gouging! My favorite breakfast place so far in Michigan!“
