McGonigle's Irish Pub Reviews
My group visited on Jan 2nd, and while everyone else's meals were fine, I was incredibly disappointed with the Pot Roast Stacker. I’ve had this dish at many restaurants, but this version was a massive letdown. Instead of tender pot roast, I was served dry, thin slices of lunch meat roast beef that tasted like a cheap 70s TV dinner. For such a simple meal, the quality was unacceptable. Save your money and order something else—avoid the pot roast at all costs.
Myself and husband decided to stop here for the 1st time tonight can't believe we waited so long we got the prime rib baked potato side salad and fried mushrooms it was so good and so much food plus 2 drinks for 62 bucks 😋 will definitely go back gotta try the patty melt and some of the other stuff for sure the waitress was great also I like not being bothered every couple of minutes and that's exactly how it went she came by every 5 to 10 minutes instead of every 2 lol 😊
Super friendly, everyone is normally positive that dines there. Separate quiet family room from the sports bar located in the next section!

McGonigle's Irish Pub is a restaurant known for its friendly service, large menu, and fair prices. Located in an older strip mall, it may be overlooked, but it's worth a visit. The restaurant offers a variety of food that is not commonly found in many family restaurants, including liver and onions and corned beef sandwiches. Standout dishes include the Fried Reuben Fajita, sizzler steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, and Texas toast, as well as breaded mushrooms and fish. The breading on these dishes is thin, crispy, and melts in your mouth. Friday's all-you-can-eat pollock fish features huge pieces that are popular among diners. McGonigle's also boasts a top-notch beer selection and has Keno for entertainment. Service is exceptional, with hosts and servers going above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. While drinks can be expensive, McGonigle's remains a hidden gem in Kalamazoo that should not be missed, especially for first-time visitors looking to enjoy a meal like Taco Salad or Chili Dogs with homemade chips. The restaurant could enhance its appearance with some neon signs to attract more customers.
