“Excellent food at a fair price for a smalltown local bar. Everything we've ordered over the years has always been quite good. The servers/bartenders are always friendly and have good senses of humor. And, they always have an interesting selection of IPA's.“
“Ok, this isn't gorurmet and it isn't a "classy" joint. It's a dive bar in the middle of a small community that has a "reputation"...but as far as dive bars go, it's a good one. The food is good and the drinks are cheap. The service is friendly and nobody seems to care what you look like...as long as you don't come in looking like a hipster or a yuppie I asked for a Michigan made beer and I got looked at like I was from Mars....but they have what you need. You're at a place that has tried to rename itself so it can distance itself from it's questionable past...but all the locals still call it The Orangeville Tavern. There's more than one Confederate flag in the immediate vicinity....we are squarely in the North, so you get what I mean. This isn't a fancy place...not in the slightest, but it's like a step back to a time where you didn't drink something because it was interesting...you drank it because you liked it....and you didn't eat the food because it was "farm to table" or "vegan/gluten free" ...you ate it because it was on the menu and you wanted to eat it. This is not a bar for people that are trying to change the world, this is a bar for people who remember how the world got where it is..this is a bar for people who built America and are still doing the job. This is a bar for "Real Americans"...with dirty cars, worn out work boots, and calloused hands. This bar is the neighborhood living room....and I am looking forward to coming back home in the near future.“
“Loved this little restaurant at Bay Pointe Inn and on Gun Lake. We stayed at the hotel, and had an early dinner. Because we were early, we were able to take advantage of the happy hour for drinks, and the live music started at 5 pm. We started our meal with the cheese curds appetizer. They also served warm bread with butter and oil for dipping. My husband, and I both chose dishes from the special menu. I had the grilled meatloaf with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. This was the best meatloaf I've ever had. It had a balsamic ketchup glaze, caramelized onions, and goat cheese. The menu also said it had a Guinness and white cheddar bacon cheese sauce, but I did not notice that on my dish. The meatloaf was made with beef and pork, which kept it tender, but the edges were crispy from the grill. The blue cheese cut through the sweetness of the glaze and onions perfectly. The red skin mashed potatoes were creamy, and the corn was buttery. My husband had the Pollack fish fry. He enjoyed the light and crispy batter. The jalapeno lime coleslaw was unique and flavorful. He also loved the house made tarter sauce. The service was great, and the views of the lake were incredible.“
“Best place around for breakfast in the area! Food is amazing, top quality, and place is super clean. Has the classic hometown diner atmosphere. Judy is very attentive and makes sure everyone has the best experience and quality service. She adores all kids and they will probably leave with a couple quarters. This place must be protected at all cost and deserves all the business it can get as she has supported the local communities for a long time.“
“Really good food at very reasonable prices! Clean, cozy and the staff are always prompt and friendly, even when it's busy, which it often is because it's sooo good! They are very accommodating with special requests, and, this is very important, THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK EGGS!!! Their eggs are delicious and are never undercooked and bland like so many other places. They have ample parking and are well worth the wait! Just be aware that on weekends they are only open for breakfast!“
“When I’m not working (I work at a coffee shop), this is the place I go to! They have lots of dairy free options for their drinks, which makes visiting very easy. When I walk in the door, they call me by name and they know I can’t have milk so if I order something with milk, they inform me! The only thing keeping me from 5 stars (I wish I could do 4.5) is I wish there were some dairy free options for food. They do offer gluten free food, which is a plus for me, but with it not being dairy free, I cannot eat them.“
“Second time was just as good as the first. Food preparation is top notch with quality ingredients. Service is fantastic and love the small town upscale cafe atmosphere. Plan to make this a regular yearly anniversary spot. Did make reservations since we have a long drive from another town.“
“I just had the lasagna and my wife had the blue gill. Lasagna was the best I’ve had. It was awesome. The blue gill was amazing. Tuesday means $3 margaritas. Last week i had the blue gill and shrimp sandwich. It was awesome also. I can’t decide what to try next.“

The kids loved it.Food was quite good, prices were less than many fast food places, service was great (both very friendly and efficient).Was a bit of a wait as we came in at the end of a rush, but nothing unusual.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options, but they made their veggie salad into a wrap for my son and he loved it. There are a few other options as well.Parking: On street parking on the main drag or a small side lot.“
“Delicious food! Butter burgers are fire, juicy and tender. Their cheese curds are tasty. Most of all their frozen custard is beyond a tasty treat! Then to top it off their in house root beer is the best root beer next to Barqs. Stop in there and grab some food.“
“Went to the restaurant and got bbq wings and chips and salsa. The service was great, I was treated very friendly. The area was very calming, nice music to eat and talk with in the background. One small thing is the bbq sauce being a little too sweet. Other than it there is no issue.“
“Lucas is the all-time best servers at Applebee’s I’ve ever experienced in my entire whole life. Billy is also the best freaking hosted I’ve ever had. Let me talk about how handsome Billy Pipkorn is . I got here and I saw his face and just made me want to spend as much money as I could. There is nothing like a good hostess like Billy. Billy greeted me to show me where to go and pulled and kissed me in the cheek before I ordered my meal. We also came right after becoming the second place winner at the Wayland track invitation. I got a few baddies with a gyatt Snapchat there it was a W day .“
“Ever since the new owners (Kyle and Kenna) took over, things have improved from my perspective. THEY HAVE A CHEF! ((THEY. HAVE. A. CHEF!)) The food is just incredible and the staff is amazing. Don't be surprised if Kyle or Kenna stop by your table just to introduce themselves and ask how your food/service is. “The service was friendly. The food was pretty good, however the Cole Slaw was pretty rough. The red cabbage was almost clear. I ate there on a Wednesday and they're closed Monday & Tuesday so it was a little aged. The rest of the food was great. The turkey was far better than we expected. The pulled pork was tender and juicy.“

“I LOVE coming here with my friend for Karaoke night. The burgers are amazing. Also..they have PIE?? How did I not know this before?? ?. The peanut butter pie was so delicious, they brew coffee for me ( and I probably drink the whole pot too), and everyone is friendly and sweet. It's really the best place to try Karaoke. “I was staying at a nearby hotel and the front desk recommended this restaurant. I dined on a Friday around 5 PM. I ate at the bar. The bartender immediately came over to ask what I wanted and provided a menu. He was knowledgeable about the ample beer selection, and made several recommendations. He took my food order and the food came out quickly. I never had to wait for him to come around and check on me. He quickly refilled my beverage when it was almost empty. Televisions line the walls and around the bar. It was a locals bar and restaurant and was packed when I left around 6 :15. As an unaccompanied woman on business, I appreciate the attentive service, which is sometimes hard to come by.Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options on the menu which weren't specifically called out.Parking: The restaurant has a good sized parking lot but it was almost full when I dined there on a Friday in March.“
“I had the chicken wings and fries, best fried chicken I have had in a while. Crispy and juicy, the fries were damn good too. Our server did a great job of keeping an eye on us. They also had a board where you can buy a meal for someone in need, such a great way to pay it forward. Loved it and will definitely go back when in the area.“
“When it comes to reviews I'm a tough judge. Although this establishment may not be a five-star restaurant in all the categories I am basing my opinion on how hard this young staff tries to do everything right. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good and they do cook here and not unwrapped and heat. I'm a picky diner and a high maintenance customer. They were always there at my side to do anything I needed. They were happy to have customers and they let you it know it and it was genuine. I do not hand out charity to businesses and I will be back because the food was good and the service was great.“

Service is decent but it seems like the last few times I've been they have given me smaller sizes then ordered and it's on the receipt as large or they have forgotten my fries or onion rings. I understand it's fast food and things happen but 3 visits and issues all 3 times. Not a good sign.“
