“Had dinner with some friends there tonight. Food and drinks were very good. Staff was great, from the person I booked the reservation with on the phone, to the young man who seated us. Our waitress was very attentive. The young man that brought our apps and food was fantastic, very friendly, and he even brought out extra dipping sauce without asking when he saw we were sharing the apps.“

They have a selection of a dozen or more pies and huge cookies for dessert. I had the peach pie and it was awesome. The service was excellent and quick.“

“One of my favorite American food restaurant. The selection is great something for any of us. Homemade bread and pastries top notch. Favorite ruebarb pie hands down. My favorite are the breakfast selections. The staff have always been helpful. No complaints. We drive 40 minutes to get there although there are restaurants within five minutes from our house. I say yes go. I saw a comment about the clientele being unfriendly. That's a development that has increased since 2016 and not limited to the Grove Cafe. Love this restaurant.“

“my husband and I and my sister was just there Thursday 3/22/23 and the food was better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic im glad they had French vanilla creamer, my sister and I got the French toast with a side of ham and it was fantastic my husband got eggs, hashbrowns , toast , bacon and ham the service was fantastic as well .. “I have come here quiet a few times over the years and haven't had a problem. I am a stickler for customer service though. I don't know who trains the ones that work at the take out counter, but there needs to be more!!!! Picked up an order and there was NO thank you, have a good night, or no smile!!! I didnt even know if the receipt was mine, she sort of just tossed it onto the box. Good old customer service is your first in with the community!!!“

“My group visited on Jan 2nd, and while everyone else's meals were fine, I was incredibly disappointed with the Pot Roast Stacker. I’ve had this dish at many restaurants, but this version was a massive letdown. Instead of tender pot roast, I was served dry, thin slices of lunch meat roast beef that tasted like a cheap 70s TV dinner. For such a simple meal, the quality was unacceptable. Save your money and order something else—avoid the pot roast at all costs.“

“Fun place. Went in recently- they had great fries again. Service was good. The karaoke nights seem to be where it’s at. That and Tuesday nights for the regulars. I like the atmosphere. Hopeful for more live bands.“

The even had a specialty beer for the mountain goats to work performing on their loan that night. Being able to have beer and then walk out back to say a grade concert was fantastic!“

“Went over for breakfast the other day while staying in the area. Not a fancy place, but good solid food. I enjoyed my veggie omelette and turkey sausage, although the omelette was a bit greasy. My wife liked her Alaska French toast and regular French toast. Our server was really good. She was friendly, attentive, didn't auction off the food and pre bussed our table. Prices are average and it's worth stopping by.“

Our food was fresh, hot, very good, chicken club wrap had fresh ingredients, yummy. Love the ice tea. Service was great too. It was a little after the lunch hour so not to many customers, but looks like cool place to go for dinner and pool or dart game with family and friends. Thanks will go again.“

It's very seldom that we have a three course meal (four if you count the cocktails/mocktails), and this one rates right at the top of the ones we have had over the years! “I usually don’t do reviews but this place definitely needs the recognition. My boyfriend and I were really looking for a new type of place to eat at something a little more homey. When we saw this place we went in with normal expectations for the service was amazing. The people working were nothing but kind and charming, something about them made us feel so welcome. Let’s talk about the food though, When I tell you i’ve never had a better chicken sandwich I genuinely mean that. The portions were large, the prices were cheap. I loved it, will definitely become a regular place we go to.“

“I've been on a catfish kick the last couple years. Here to tell y'all about this place. Discovered it Door Dashing, lol, and the food would smell so good as I drove it to others! It's best for taking out and eating at home or in the park/somewhere. They provide everything you need to do so (silverware, napkins, sauces, etc). My favorite is the fillets but I had the catfish nuggets today and I'm happy! Highly suggest adding that cheese to the fries, yo. Oh, and one serving from them is bound to feed me 2-3x. If you don't have an air fryer, I suggest you invest. Enjoy!“

“I had Alana has a server and she did an amazing job she kept my cup filled, made sure we needed anything, and checked up on us just the right amount of time. I will definitely ask for her again. All servers should be like her. Fantastic job!“
