One of my favorite American food restaurant. The selection is great something for any of us. Homemade bread and pastries top notch. Favorite ruebarb pie hands down. My favorite are the breakfast selections. The staff have always been helpful. No complaints. We drive 40 minutes to get there although there are restaurants within five minutes from our house. Is has been awhile since we (me & husband) have been there. Medical problems for me. BUT when we did go....the service and food was outstanding!! Their food....I think mostly handmade when they can is delicious. Going to call in and pickup breakfast. If you are still wondering if you should go.....GO!!!

Grove Street Cafe offers a down-to-earth breakfast experience with prompt and attentive service. The Bird's Nest and breakfast sandwich continue to be highlights, served alongside delicious sides like raisin toast and "goofy potatoes." The pancakes are huge and really good, making it a family-friendly spot. While some found the hashbrowns in the Bird's Nest not as crispy as hoped, others enjoyed the biscuits & gravy, though the biscuit was noted to be a bit dry. The cozy atmosphere and homey menu, which includes the delectable Chicken White Bean Soup and pie, make it a favorite for many. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is always friendly, with cooks who seem to work quickly. Even with a crowd, the wait for food is short, and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Overnight parking is allowed for broken-down vehicles. Overall, the dining experience is satisfying, with true American dishes and a warm, small-town American vibe.
