As an Executive Chef ( currently on vacation) .. this was an excellent experience . Amazing food , excellent attention to detail, great staff and amazing management . I’ll definitely be going back when in town ! Oh , and the wine was great too !

Love the atmosphere, Manager Jason, he Rocks, great service, food is wonderful, nice place to get together with friends. Wine tasting events with distributors and Wine Makers, give a great opportunity for wine education, and discounts on wine orders from the events. Great place for after work or special occasion.

WL Social House offers a dining experience with many highlights. The food is often described as fantastic and delicious. The Charcuterie Board was well balanced with outstanding flavor combinations, and the Burrata appetizer was fantastic. The Rib-eye, Pork chop, and Social Chop salads with chicken and steak were all delicious and delivered timely. However, some dishes were uneven; the halibut was small, overcooked, and dry, while the cocktails were delicious. Desserts were OK but not knockouts. Portions of some seafood dishes were very small. Service is generally great and spectacular, with servers described as incredibly considerate, a delight, amazing, and phenomenal. However, service could be remarkably slow even during slow times, and the restaurant can be a little overwhelmed and understaffed. The ambience and decor are lovely, with an outdoors dining area that has a downtown Chicago appeal. Due to the open concept, it does get quite loud and is not very conducive to private conversations. Overall, WL Social House provides a great experience with standout dishes, but with some unevenness in food and service.
