Had a superb first meal at Cafe 36 this weekend. Had heard of it, but never been. It was eVerything we hoped for. I've been excited to try the Cafe 36 for quite some time now and finally had my chance to dine here. I was in a group of 7 people. The restaurant is very interesting. It is perched above Sawall's Health food store and overlooks the aisles of goods while shoppers browse. It is not a huge area but a cozy area to dine and visit with friends. Best short ribs I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve never had a more tender piece of meat. We had the feature appetizer, kale Cesar salad, and my husband got the fish and chips and everything was incredible! Such a fun and different atmosphere with the grocery store underneath. You would never expect it to be such a classy and beautiful restaurant above but the atmosphere, food and drinks were all absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be back.
