“We made a reservation and asked for a quieter area and they accommodated without question. Food and drinks were good ... service was good. The bar took a bit to get our orders out but the server was very communicative about where they were in the process. One in our party has a gluten allergy and while they did have gluten free buns available for burgers, there were very limited sides to choose from to swap out for the fries. The server did know about cross contamination from the fryer and returned to the table to say there was gluten in the turkey burger that was ordered. Cole slaw and salad were really the only sides to choose from. One suggestion is to include GF (gluten free) markings on the menu like you have for Vegan and Vegetarian items. It would have made searching the menu so much easier!“

“by far my favorite restaurant in grand rapids. staff is always amazing, the lions game day specials are always so good, i’m obsessed with the cherry mule and the crab rangoon tots. the patio is so cool too!! i don’t think i’ve ever got something and not liked it. also they have touch tunes“

“We just flew into town to see old friend recently diagnosed w cancer. My wife’s been sad. We lived here 10 yrs ago. Sundance was right off the plane. We were lucky to get Rayne as our waitress. She brought joy and the best corned beef skillet and Rueben. A perfect and beautiful start to our stay!“

“The bleu cheese burger was one of the best burgers Ive ever had! The savory Bleu cheese complemented the white stuff cheddar patty and all of the other toppings so wonderfully! Cool, fun atmosphere with games to play during your wait for your food. Great place to experience. Staff was welcoming.“

“The greatest dive bar I’ve visited in years. Certainly the best one in Grand Rapids. We discovered Our Tavern on accident and never wanted to leave. Great prices. Fun clientele. The owner Kim slinging drinks was The Very Best.
Add to that pinball, pool, shuffleboard, a jukebox, and the most spacious, clean bar bathroom you’ve ever seen, and I can’t wait to go back for many, many return visits.
Six stars out of five.“

“Walking down the promenade at the Bar, feeling hungry, she stopped by a small pizza restaurant. The place is cozy: two floors, a street terrace and even a small hotel attached to it. I chose an outdoor table - it's nice on the terrace: the sun doesn't bake, there's a slight breeze and a great view of the waterfront. Menu - European cuisine, prices average. The waiter was found friendly, the service was warm and unobtrusive. I ordered pepperoni pizza and beer. Cooked for about 20 minutes. The pizza is classic, Italian style: thin dough, good roast, rich taste. Just what you need after a walk by the sea. The place left a nice impression. No pathos, but with atmosphere - I had a great time here.“

“The Sundance, is well I'd like to say it is amazing. the food certainly is, I love their tacos, and Biscuits and Gravy, I've only ever been here for breakfast I can't speak for any other time of the day. twice I ate here alone when travelling alone. and the staff were not rude, nor impolite. but seemed as if they didn't want me there for some reason I cannot imagine why, as I tried to be nice and polite as well, leaving an appropriate tip regardless“

“A welcoming bar/restaurant. Busy but not loud. Our server was nice and took our drink order right away. Prices are very reasonable. We got there late evening and we were not rushed to order or eat. A really enjoyable dining experience. It's downtown Grand Rapids so parking can be somewhat hard to find close by on weekend nights because that's where everyone is at. I didn't mind the walk though.“
