“So my buddy and I grabbed lunch at Sporty’s Bar and it was good. Living here for almost 50 years I had not been here before but knowing that Jim is managing/owner now I wanted to try it out. We had burgers, fries, and ice cold beers. Although they can’t cook the burger to order (I like medium rare), the burger was still juicy and not overcooked. Atmosphere was very nice, not what I expected. Cool bar and clean. Bartender was great too and other diners were pleasant.“
“I love this place. I used to frequent it when I was younger. Coming back to it now that I'm older, it's still the same place. Great atmosphere and excellent food. The staff was quick and very helpful. This is always a great place!“
“Stan's took me back to my childhood. Love the atmosphere of the place. The craft beers on tap are great. Linda was stellar - she's friendly and never let my glass go dry. I will be back! Returned twice, this time with our son. We really enjoyed our lunch here.“
“If you are looking for a place to stop that has great staff, friendly regulars, and amazing food-- this is the stop for you! Family owned bar with that hometown feel. It is cash only, but there is an ATM on site! I 100% recommend checking this place out!“
“Great atmosphere for hanging with friends and family, while grabbing a burger, over the top tater tots, and don't miss the bloody mary bar, all while you watch your favorite sport, shoot darts, or try your luck with the lottery...the staff are awesome!“
“This restaurant is effectively the same as all the 'El Burrito', 'El Rancho', etc. in the area with identical menu items. Food overall, as with all the listed places above, is fresh, flavorful, and very good! The chips are not terrific but are paired with average to above average salsa. Service is hit or miss, with several employees not speaking any English at all. They are generally quite busy on the weekends during lunch and dinner. We love coming here to play cards after church while sharing a meal and chips.“
