“Tonight was my wife and I first time trying the Unicorn Tavern and for sure will visit again!! The service was amazing and the food was top notch! We had the The Mushroom Poutine to start which was recommended by the server & then had the Brussels burger also recommended by our server both of these dishes were absolutely amazing!! The Brussels burger came on a pretzel bun and all of the topping were perfect!! Can’t say enough good things about this place and the service was amazing!!”

“I am SO GLAD that the Grill Room is open again! We had dinner here on a Saturday night, coming in a bit after they opened and were able to be seated right away. The ambiance is upscale, but approachable. Maddie was our server, and was fantastic! She made great recommendations, and we ended up getting the special, a steak dinner for two, complete with sides. We also got the bone marrow as an appetizer.The marrow was great - my husband loved the mushrooms, and the relish was a perfect balance with the buttery and rich marrow. We had multiple drinks through dinner, and each was wonderful - the negroni was a spot on summertime drink. Dinner continued the already amazing experience, with a perfectly cooked rare steak (it seems like that is not as easy to find as one would think) with a lovely spicy topping, asparagus, and mini potatoes. While the steak and asparagus were great, the real show stopper were the potatoes. Perfectly crispy on the outside and melty smooth on the inside, with a truffle coating, i could have eaten only those and been very happy. We managed to find room for dessert, and despite being quite full, wolfed down the chocolate torte - DIVINE.Overall, the service was great, with excellent suggestions all dinner, the drinks were wonderful, and the food was top notch. I am already looking at my calendar for when I can go back. Grand Haven has been missing an upscale dining experience, and I am so glad that the Grill Room can fill that void.”

I had a difficult time parking as I drive a larger vehicle. There aren't many parking spots, unfortunately.

I walked into the store and was barely greeted. I explained it was my first visit, and she rolled her eyes at me like was an inconvenience. Disappointed, I placed my order, paid, and walked out.

When I returned to pick up my order, I saw a plaque stating they had been in business since 1961! I was greeted with a fantastic smile from a different cheery face, I was thanked for my business and given well-wishes for great food!

The pizza (1/2 deluxe and 1/2 pepperoni) and cheese breadsticks costing approximately $35 was excellent, and the ingredients tasted fresh!

I'll 100% return for more superb eats!

Lately, it's not easy to fine good service and quality food at a decent price. You hit all three. I have worked in food service for decades. It was really great, to come in to pick up my order, and see a lot of people working behind the counter, not just standing around. And to the 2 young men at the registers, great job!! “My hubby & I are fans as it is, but tonight we were very impressed. The GH location was on Fox news, and as you would expect, the place was swamped! (We did go to Ferrysburg though.). Anyway, the young man in charge as well as 3 teen girls were so awesome! They were happy & hustling! It was refreshing to see young people working hard and working so well together! Plus of course, we loved our shaved ices!”

“Everyone at Bodhi is so kind - I can’t stop coming back. When I went in the first time and asked for guidance, they were happy to provide some samples for me to try. From the team to the customers, everyone I have encountered is kind, patient, and pleasant. And the gluten free vegan donuts are the best! My favorite juices are the Green Emerald and the Root Restore, and I can’t wait to keep trying all of their offerings.”

“I was nervous to try this place because of all the recent negative reviews. I decided to try it anyways.

The fried rice was absolutely flavorless. The only veggie in the fried rice was onion. Yuck. Soy sauce helped a little, but fried rice should have a flavor, not bland.

I ordered the beef n broccoli. It was pretty good. Plenty of broccoli and beef, and for $7.60, you can't beat that price! Other places now charge $13 for the same amount of food.

The crab rangoon was good. The egg roll was great! The fortune cookie, i feel jipped. There was no tacky saying in it or anything!

Small dining room but i was able to enjoy my lunch. Overall, a good experience.

“We tried Rainy Days for the first time today. My husband ordered the Super Stuffed Hashbrown, I ordered the Stuffed Hashbrown, and we both got Sourdough toast. The Stuffed Hasbrowns were by far the best Stuffed hasbrowns we've had! The service was fantastic! We didn't bring our dog, but also we're informed their outside seating is pet friendly!! They have water dishes out and even give your pup a little treat when you're here!! This will EASILY be our go to breakfast place!”

“I'm sharing my frustration in regards to an error between door dash and russ's. I tried to door dash a chicken dinner on the door dash app and it kept saying I had 2 options or something like that however I had everything required selected but the app wouldn't allow me to proceed. I placed the order with what I thought was a work around selecting the no sides button figuring I'd get what was in the picture and on the menu, chicken mashed potato's with gravy and a dinner roll. I placed the order and it was rejected after taking my payment, I'm assuming because it didn't have the sides added? I'm not sure why instead of losing business an associate from Russ's could call me (not sure if they have access to my phone number but they must since the driver does?) It would have been a simple call to save the order and keep a customer happy. Instead I selected a different restaurant and now have a negative opinion toward a restaurant I've been going to my whole life. I know they don't need my order and will survive without my current and future business, it just all could have been avoided with a little communication.”

“Great location right in the middle of town at an easy enough to navigate intersection despite being right on Beacon.They take SNAP, which is awesome, with the only trade-off being that you can cook the pizza to your own liking. Such tragedy and trial, am I right?I usually hit this spot shortly before closing, so I only know what the evenings are like. Ample parking, quick service, little traffic, knowledgeable staff... and they're usually ready to get out of there after a long day. I empathize. No fake smiles or trying to make empty small talk. I came in dour yet polite asking for a pizza and got the like in return. As I said, excellent service (my last pizza was assembled from refrigerated storage boxes on a shelf and the cashier/pizza architect *still used the bowls and scale for ingredients!*) and extreme professionalism.

Parking: The location is small and on the corner of a repurposed Family Video store. The entire parking lot for the former store is available and therefore parking is never an issue.”

“Called three days ahead of time to set up a delivery for 9 pizzas and 4 full salads for an event I was having in Grand Haven. Delivery came right on time, pizza was hot, and driver was friendly. Flavors impressed friends from around the state and those that hadn’t had it in years. Even my picky daughter loves the pizza.”

“Parking: There is a parking lot for Culver’s customers only behind the drive thru. It’s decently size, but can’t fit everyone. They have a few spots near the entrance that are handicapped and mobile pick. The entire parking lot is a mess though due to other business. It’s difficult to back out of the spots at the entrance due to cars zooming by.”
