“Food is absolutely incredible! Never had Catfish before and they've made it my new favorite fish. Kaja, Derika, and the staff have helped me every time I've gone in and they are wonderful! So happy I found this restaurant :)”
“Had a deal in the app for a free regular sub, walked in and grabbed it minutes after I ordered it, and walked out! I called to make sure I used the offer properly, and they were incredibly nice and helpful!”
“Walked up and got our name on the list for brunch. They took our number and said they'd text when the table was ready. Estimated 30-minute wait, actual 40. We took the opportunity to look up the menu and reviews while waiting. Once seated, we were able to order immediately. The coffee was brought out in an insulated carafe for wxtra pours, with a side of cream. The gal who helped us also brought 2 forks out so we could share the roll. It had a fabulous crunchy outer, yet tender inside and smothered in a tangy-sweet cream cheese frosting. Next came the mains. Mine could have used some kick, but there was hot sauce available &, I suppose, it's easier to add more heat than it is to take it away. The eggs were perfectly poached & I loved the naked option. Bonus for letting me swap out potatoes for the fruit. After reading how great they were, I did expect some sort of twist, but there isn't one. Yes, they were good, just normal. I stole a few bites of bacon & it was fabulous. I'd guess they bake it to render it and get it crispy without burning it. The hubs said the chorizo hash was great. I wouldn't know cuz he didn't share! All in all, I feel like it was a great value.”
“Stopped in to try the St. Patrick's Day menu. Went with the burger with the corned beef added onto it. (Sorry, I can't recall the name of it!) In a word - awesome!! And the mint mousse dessert "for two" was big enough for, at least, three! Also incredible!! Service was amazing, too, from the bartender! Loved everything about it!!”
“This local gem is like if five guys had swagger. The mushroom Swiss burger with truffle aioli is terrific and the people who work there are cool. If you are looking for lunch near downtown muskegon you want to go ”
“I've been here a number of times and can't get myself to stop ordering the jumbo hog wings. They're too good to pass up. However, they had a pumpkin bisque soup once in the fall that was fantastic too.”
“Got to say, I was a bit disappointed. The biscuits were amazing. But I ordered the filet and was not impressed. Not a very good cut (lots of fat) and I ordered it medium and it was practically raw (and I love a little pink). My husband’s strip was good and the fries are not to be missed. For close to $200 total bill, it was a bit underwhelming. Better options in holland or grand haven. Cool atmosphere, good wine selection and great location, but need to do better to justify the price.I appreciate the quick and personal response. We will try again when we visit next month and look forward to updating!Parking: Easy parking all around the building, but this is April. I am sure in summer it is a little harder to come by.”
“First time at East End and it won’t be the last! Such a cute and inviting place. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I even think I found my new favorite drink! White chocolate, lavender latte!”
“The whole atmosphere as well as the pastries and energy drinks are awesome. I go at least 2x thru out the week . Try it and thank me laterKid-friendliness: They have something for everyone”
“Came back home to visit, living in Oklahoma now and asked for the best sandwich/ hoagie shop was and they said this place and they weren't kidding, it's fantastic. I will definitely be back. Now when I come I'll have 2 places I will definitely eat at. Mr.Scribs and Fatty Lumpkins.”
“Best burger joint in West Michigan, and so much more! I'm lucky to live so close, that I can order take out and eat it at home while it's still hot off the grill.”
“Husband & I stopped in for a bite. Jack our waiter was awesome. I’m a type 1 diabetic and was having a low . My husband went to ask him for some apple juice cause of my situation. And he came right out with it . Very polite nice young man. Thank you Jack ??”
“Village Baker has a casual, european feel with fantastic food and great service. Also, the attached bakery is a pretty great place too. Excellent breads, pastries, cookies.... Highly recommend!”
“I love that place! They have the best burritos, and a large selection of Mexican food. I love the way its decorated as well.Wheelchair accessibility: The lower level is wheelchair accessible, but not the upper level.”
“Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Very nice place with extensive menu. We had the that's my jam pizza with Sicilian crust. It was very good. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Muskegon.”
“Love Norm's! I would advise you order smaller than your typical ice cream shop size as their servings are very generous ?. But tip them well, they're a great bunch!”
“Tried this recently the icecream is amazing and it's kind-of hard to beat the price with the amount of selections. Parking can get interesting but ho estly great place to stop for a quick frozen treat”
“Decent food, fun atmosphere, good prices. Very generous portions. Pancakes were huge! Waffles looked delicious. Service was great, and very friendly despite being busy.Parking: Not bad for the Muskegon area. There's street parking around the block and an actual parking lot area in the middle of the block.Kid-friendliness: Fun diner atmosphere and all decor seemed tasteful. No inappropriate humor or signage.”
“Often, when visiting a new coffee house/shop, you get only a part of what you hope for (eg. atmosphere, ambience, service, product quality, and price). At Aldea coffee, you get the whole bundle! If you like something a bit spiced up, try the honey cinnamon latte! Simply great!”
“Was looking for a great slice of pizza in the Muskegon area and this is far and away the best. Great crust, sauce is amazing and cheese has a great bite to it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that loves pizza.”
“The food is worth the wait time. The price is RIGHT!! The BEST cornbread! The BEST mac and cheese! The breading on the catfish was AMAZING!! Burnt ends melted like butter, and the sauce is phenomenal! Hands down the best! Will be returning again. I can't wait to try the cake my husband was raving about!”
“Their food is AMAZING!!!!! Enough said! Updating my post 3/2/2024... The food is STILL AMAZING!!!!Kid-friendliness: Family oriented atmosphere. I do wish there was a wider selection for kids menus. One minus was the man c cheese we ordered for my granddaughter. It was over cooked/dry. Otherwise, the food is AMAZING!”
“Been havin breakfast here since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It's my favorite place! I believe I would make special trips to Muskegon, even if I lived all the way in Alaska, just to have a country fried steak or the Southern Skillet.”
“What an amazing place to meet old and new friends, grab one of their delicious coffees or treats, and enjoy the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Lots of love from Brent and Steve! ❤️?☕️”
“This is our favorite date night restaurant! It has a feel of a trattoria in Italy and the food is comparable in taste and quantity to food we had in Italy. The homemade noodles are amazing and the homemade gelato is delicious! We have not had anything on the menu we did not like!”
“My wife and i went in today and had lunch. We have been there many times and can’t get enough. As a chef and foodie myself i am always impressed with their offerings. We actually drove 7 hours (from Des Moines Iowa) to eat here. I don’t see what these 1 and 2 star people are talking about. Definitely a must try, support local and Eat local.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos, curry vegetables tacos and seasonal vegan burrito is my wife’s favorite and they have falafel tacos ???”
“Visited for the first time and it was AMAZING. I wanted to try as many of the soups as possible so the server suggested I do a trilogy of soups. It's basically three soups to try. I tried the cheese, the gumbo, and their signature onion. All of them were amazing. Especially the French onion. For appetizer, I ordered the carpaccio, the Fried goat cheese, and the spinach and artichoke dip. They were all very good. After all these appetizers we were pretty full, but I still wanted to try an entrée. I decided to go with the wedge salad and add steak to it. The steak was done to perfection and the wedge salad was cut perfectly so it wasn't overwhelming. The server we had was quick, and very attentive. As far as the ambience and the decor, it was very cozy and reminded me a bit of European restaurants where space is tight, but you're not feeling crowded. I would consider the attire of the patrons to be a little more dressier than casual based on what everyone was wearing but definitely did not feel stuffy. I will be going back because they have several more items on the menu that I want to try.”
“This was one of the best breakfastes I've had in a long time. Wait staff was excellent. I'm not from that area and stumbled upon this cafe. Definitely would go back if I'm in the area again.”
“Great friendly staff.. The food is awesome, quick but fresh.. I like to meet up with my friends, especially she wants to have never been here.. very impressive..”
“Always a warm welcome, area always clean &well kept , service is excellent & food is excellent and the same way every time!Wheelchair accessibility: Theres open area to roll up to window or they will come out to you !”
