“We go over to Canary when my sister comes into town because they love to play Keno and they don't have Keno in their state. Canary welcomes my sister and her wife by name and knows what they drink and they're from out of town. Now I call that Customer Service! Canary has always been a favorite of mine but I have recently moved back to Muskegon after growing up here. But my family and myself, always visited on holidays and my family are big on going out, having fun and celebrating, which includes drinking and playing Keno! Most of the family likes gambling in all forms, I'm just not one of them! Not even all that into Keno...might be because I don't usually win and the other family members are so darn lucky!Now about the food on that given day...usually I don't have any complaints, but the onion rings were way too deep fried and I wanted a very rare burger. I'm a 'purist', just a burger with a touch of salt and pepper with a bun, nothing else. And I want the meat very, very, very, very rare! Just lightly heated on both sides. I took my burger to go, otherwise I would have sent it back and that would have probably been the only second time, in my 66 years, I have ever sent food back! Not to Canary, to anywhere! But the meat was medium and I didn't want it, I don't eat by taste, I eat by the way it feels in my mouth so that's why I like a rare burger. So besides the food, everything else was fun and we had a great time and get the tater tots, one of the best foods I felt in my mouth and the others at the table thought they were delicious! Lol”

“In all my experience, Subway franchises have done great with standardizing the process for good food. The service at the Subway in North Muskegon was excellent, and the gal making my sub offered helpful suggestions when I asked. We dined in and were able to enjoy a pleasant conversation.”

“I ordered food to pick up on our way home from Michigan adventures, my food got done a lil early and we were running behind. I called little Caesars just to let them know I was running a little behind and would be about 10 or so mins late so they didn't think I was not coming. I spoke w a young lady on the phone (forgive me for forgetting your name) she was very polite and understanding and even though I hadn't asked offered to remake my order so we could enjoy it fresh. Her customer service was on par in every single way!!!! I was greeted w smiles and conversation, the food was hot and delicious. Overall it was a great experience for my first time being at this location. The staff who were working June 19th around 6 pm deserve some recognition ???I”

“Stopped in to try the St. Patrick's Day menu. Went with the burger with the corned beef added onto it. (Sorry, I can't recall the name of it!) In a word - awesome!! And the mint mousse dessert "for two" was big enough for, at least, three! Also incredible!! Service was amazing, too, from the bartender! Loved everything about it!!”

“I've been here a number of times and can't get myself to stop ordering the jumbo hog wings. They're too good to pass up. However, they had a pumpkin bisque soup once in the fall that was fantastic too.”

“Often, when visiting a new coffee house/shop, you get only a part of what you hope for (eg. atmosphere, ambience, service, product quality, and price). At Aldea coffee, you get the whole bundle! If you like something a bit spiced up, try the honey cinnamon latte! Simply great!”

“This is our favorite date night restaurant! It has a feel of a trattoria in Italy and the food is comparable in taste and quantity to food we had in Italy. The homemade noodles are amazing and the homemade gelato is delicious! We have not had anything on the menu we did not like!”

“Visited for the first time and it was AMAZING. I wanted to try as many of the soups as possible so the server suggested I do a trilogy of soups. It's basically three soups to try. I tried the cheese, the gumbo, and their signature onion. All of them were amazing. Especially the French onion. For appetizer, I ordered the carpaccio, the Fried goat cheese, and the spinach and artichoke dip. They were all very good. After all these appetizers we were pretty full, but I still wanted to try an entrée. I decided to go with the wedge salad and add steak to it. The steak was done to perfection and the wedge salad was cut perfectly so it wasn't overwhelming. The server we had was quick, and very attentive. As far as the ambience and the decor, it was very cozy and reminded me a bit of European restaurants where space is tight, but you're not feeling crowded. I would consider the attire of the patrons to be a little more dressier than casual based on what everyone was wearing but definitely did not feel stuffy. I will be going back because they have several more items on the menu that I want to try.”
