“Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Very nice place with extensive menu. We had the that's my jam pizza with Sicilian crust. It was very good. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Muskegon.”
“Visited for the first time and it was AMAZING. I wanted to try as many of the soups as possible so the server suggested I do a trilogy of soups. It's basically three soups to try. I tried the cheese, the gumbo, and their signature onion. All of them were amazing. Especially the French onion. For appetizer, I ordered the carpaccio, the Fried goat cheese, and the spinach and artichoke dip. They were all very good. After all these appetizers we were pretty full, but I still wanted to try an entrée. I decided to go with the wedge salad and add steak to it. The steak was done to perfection and the wedge salad was cut perfectly so it wasn't overwhelming. The server we had was quick, and very attentive. As far as the ambience and the decor, it was very cozy and reminded me a bit of European restaurants where space is tight, but you're not feeling crowded. I would consider the attire of the patrons to be a little more dressier than casual based on what everyone was wearing but definitely did not feel stuffy. I will be going back because they have several more items on the menu that I want to try.”
“As soon as they brought back their tacos, they took "best taco in town" title. These were stuffed with good sized chunks of meat, lots of toppings, as well as the perfect amount of sauce. Best stop for pre/post beach day this year.”
“By far the coolest place in MKG to find live music and delicious beers. Josh is a master of brewing, and consistently creates amazing, funky, and crushable beers.”
“Stop #22 on our Hundreds of Hops 2024 self-guided US Hop Passport Tour The space is phenomenal. It's large & well thought out with whimsical touches. I can see it getting packed, tho it was relatively quiet on a Sunday afternoon. The barkeep was friendly and certainly wasn't pretentious. I half expected the ole "Ghostbusters whaadya want" line, but we were met instead with more of a "where are you from, where have you been & have you been here before" greeting. Our beer was decent, falling mid-range, and we didn't get any food. If I were in the neighborhood, I'd go back, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go.”
“If you like dive bars where you can get to know all the locals and everybody knows everybody in the bar and you want to shoot a game of pool play the Jukebox and just have conversation with a few drinks you'll feel at home here.”
“Nice atmosphere, many beers to try and a somewhat limited food menu. Service was friendly but slow. Our group sampled nearly all the house beer varieties in flights and ordered more of our favorites. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches for several of us, and one person ordered a Cubano. The sandwiches were good but the only side options were potato chips or potato salad, with a $2 upcharge for potato salad. One person in our group had a Greek salad, and she said it was very good, although the dressing was very vinegary. A nice visit.”
“Awesome products. The blueberry is my favorite, but they have plenty of other great options. Owners are local and worked hard to build this place from the ground up.”
“I usually go to scribs on laketon but since I started working at uhaul I discovered this little gem. The pizza is amazing they load good fresh toppings on comes perfect every time. Keep doing what you're doing ”
“I often times forget that courses exists, but I'm truly glad it does. I've been here multiple times now and the experience has been consistently good. It's inside of the culinary institute and is more or less a classroom experience but I wouldn't let that discourage you as the students do an incredible job. I'm always impressed with the service, the generous portions, and the quality of the food. It's a really great way to have some finer dining at a reasonable price. Speaking of the food the menu changes fairly regularly based on the term, so you'll want to check the latest on the site before you go. It's all over the place, but always good. My favorite thing to order here is the coffee! They bring a full French Press, a few biscotti, and some truffles out as part of it -- all for $3! Give it a try!”
“My friend and I ate at Walker's before the symphony and the food was delicious. I had the short ribs with horseradish mashed potatoes and green beans and it was all very tasty. My companion had a side salad and grilled shrimp which she really liked. Our server was Dianne and she was great. She was serving quite a few tables but everyone got their food and bills in time to get to the symphony. The food and service has improved a great deal from the past. Good job Walker's keep it up.”
“Danyel was amazing! Really made our Valentine’s Dinner special and one we won’t forget! Prompt, professional, hilarious, and down right genuine. Thank you Danyel for an amazing experience!”
“Our rating is for one of the workers helping in the self checkout area. We were having problems finding the grill on sale and he not only took us to it, he got a large cart, loaded it and helped us to the front. Thank you Josh, it's not often you find such great service nowadays.”
“Tight quarters but still able to hold a conversation with each other and not feel intrusive. Started with an old fashion, not the best I've ever had but good and it looks great in a photo ?. We also had the buffalo wings which were delicious. The clam chowder was ok and just a little above room temperature.Hubby had the yellow belly perch with onion rings ands he thought it was very delicious, and I agree! I had the shrimp Mediterranean style and that was also wonderfully yummy.Service was very friendly and even with the busy restaurant she (I'm doing bad lately with names, sorry) did a great job keeping up with all tables.Prices are average with dinners around $20-$25. Since we came in the winter it didn't seem to be too busy, however the tables were always full but we got a table right away. Parking can be tight, especially if it gets real busy but if you find a spot...stay for a delicious meal.”
“My family & I just left, we had Mikayla as a Server, who was also tending to a full bar & she was absolutely amazing! So attentive despite her being super busy, she kept the kids stocked on bread & the drinks full! The steaks were wonderful & the service was to match!”
“Met some friends from work for a quick bite at lunchtime. Made reservations but didn't need to lot's of open tables. Started with the artichoke and spinach dip. Then the Santa Fe chicken Egg Rolls. Was very good, my friends both ordered salads.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of choices for Vegetarian dishes, mostly salad and can leave off any meat.”
“Always loved Scribs until last night, got our pizza, got home and started eating it when I noticed there was something different about it, it was the signature flavor in the sauce, I looked closer and there was no sauce at all ! Never been so disappointed after craving their pizza for weeks, waiting til my whole family was present, and then for the sauce to be absent was a real downer.....Mr Scribs...do better, your lifetime loyal fans are disappointed”
“Small portions? YesService? Great. Great interaction with the family and staff.Clean? YesWill we return? AbsolutelyWorth the price? Most of the time. If protein portions were a little more, I could see more value.”
“I was greeted by a very friendly and cheerful voice as I placed my order at the drive through. I believe her name was Amanda. Great attitude and a pleasant interaction. The server at the window was also very friendly and pleasant. That shows me that it is a customer friendly service. As always the meal was great. I enjoy that kind of experience.”
“Great View, Great service, Great food. Enjoyed the happy hour and our server Cody was awesome. Always a great experience. Best Ahi Tuna steak in Muskegon. Way better then at Bear Lake Tavern by far.”
“Jay burgers that's what they is. They will hurt your feelings. They will make your mouth turn on you. That's how good they food is. Oh my god. Me and my wife ate that food that food and we was looking at each other like what took us so long to find this Jewel do yourself a favor. Go get your feelings hurt and watch your mouth. Turn on you bad to the bone”
“Stopped in to try the St. Patrick's Day menu. Went with the burger with the corned beef added onto it. (Sorry, I can't recall the name of it!) In a word - awesome!! And the mint mousse dessert "for two" was big enough for, at least, three! Also incredible!! Service was amazing, too, from the bartender! Loved everything about it!!”
