“Decent food, fun atmosphere, good prices. Very generous portions. Pancakes were huge! Waffles looked delicious. Service was great, and very friendly despite being busy.

Parking: Not bad for the Muskegon area. There's street parking around the block and an actual parking lot area in the middle of the block.

Kid-friendliness: Fun diner atmosphere and all decor seemed tasteful. No inappropriate humor or signage.“

“We had the privilege of spending our morning with Courtney in the outside area. It was an absolute treat. The food was phenomenal, but more importantly, the service was astounding! Courtney goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy and comfortable. She's kind, funny, hard working, quick witted, and she was incredibly accommodating and attentive to my two year old daughter. Courtney made our family breakfast outing exceedingly enjoyable. “First, delicious beers, but we were drawn to food options and were told, "We no longer have a kitchen as of April 2024." They are supposed to have food trucks on weekends, but those have been unreliable. Apparently there are a lot of restaurants that can deliver.So, Five stars for great beers! My favorite was a nitro, "Colin, He's British."“

I imbibed with a (one) glass libation of red wine to celebrate the day in fine fashion. I made a good dent in the plate I loaded there. The game was on, as Rad Dads is a sports bar located inside the Hockey arena downtown Muskegon. Greenbay was ahead with one quarter remaining when I left. But Detroit had just scored. My man Barry Sanders was commentating. Have you seen his new documentary? I just watched it on Prime. Shout out to Rad Dads. What a wonderful and generous gesture they made today. The vibe was wonderful there. I give Rad Dads my highest recommendation. They are an excellent taqueria located inside the hockey arena. They offer margarita specials on Monday and $ 1 tacos on Tuesday! You can watch live hockey while you enjoy your tacos as they overlook the ice hockey arena inside.“

“Loved everything a out it. In town for work and we're looking for a cold draft and good food. This was great! The cheese curds are actually cheese cubes and were some of the best I've ever had. Would order double portion next time! The chicken parm sandwich was ridiculously delicious as well. Crispy seasoned chicken good house made sauce. Server was awesome and everyone seemed to be on top.of their stuff. Highly recommended!“

“My mom and I came in for breakfast today 6/10/24, but were a little too late since the lunch menus were out. Our server, (I forgot her name) said they could still make what we wanted for breakfast and everything was amazing! The food portions were great, very tasty, and she came by several times to refill our coffee. When we were finished, she said we were all set, and it turns out that Wes, one of their regulars, paid for our meals! All around a wonderful experience and we can’t to return! “People can complain about Applebees all they want, but any of the past few times we have been here it's been decent service! A lot better than many of the other popular chained restaurants in Muskegon have to offer! Attentive enough wait staff, food comes out timely and GOOD, and drinks are refilled. All you can hope for in todays food service world. We really like the 2 for $25 deal. Super affordable in todays finances!“

“We go here about once a month and I've never had a bad experience! Nowadays that's rare. I dont recommend all the branches but the one off holton rd is exceptional. The food is always fresh, the people friendly and although the prices are higher , where are they not now, you at least get what you pay for. The chicken, rolls, Cole slaw, coconut cream pie, caramel apple pie, Rubens, are all great! I highly recommend them. The slimJim, fries, onion rings, potato soup also worth mentioning. You can buy pies whole or by the piece and soup by the quart or bowl. Just all around above most restaurants now. ,“

“any and all Mexican chains in Muskegon are subpar. HOWEVER, DO NOT waste your time and go anywhere else in this city besides El Burrito Loco. Service may be slower at times, but the waiters really do stay on top of things, and everything is delicious. This seems like a true homestyle Mexican restaurant so be patient and let the waiters have time for things, the staff seems limited but sometimes the best restaurants are like this. Salsa seems homemade as well as the queso, chips are always fresh! Recommend any dish with chicken steak shrimp! They cook it to perfection! I repeat: do not go to any other Mexican restaurant if trying out some in the city. Choose this!“

They don’t make places like this anymore. It’s got the history and vibe that can only come from effort & love. “We love coming to the Moon, it’s always a stop for us. Usually most of the bartenders are friendly and timely. However, Nita (I believe her name is) is NOT friendly and very slow. We were there today, I very politely asked for my drinks and not once did she smile or even look to be happy or pleased with being at work. My husband went up the next time to get a new drink and asked her to not put anymore ice in his cup and she didn’t care what he said, she still loaded the cup full of ice. Again, had the look on her face like she didn’t care how nice someone was to her, she wasn’t gonna be nice back. Additionally, when I went up for drinks, she looked at me, looked back at the computer, and made me and someone else wait without saying “I’ll be right with you” or anything of the sorts for about 2-3 minutes.“
