“I just returned from a full-on Thanksgiving buffet at Rad Dads. The food was great and the vibe was magnificent. I imbibed with a (one) glass libation of red wine to celebrate the day in fine fashion. I made a good dent in the plate I loaded there. The game was on, as Rad Dads is a sports bar located inside the Hockey arena downtown Muskegon. Greenbay was ahead with one quarter remaining when I left. But Detroit had just scored. My man Barry Sanders was commentating. Have you seen his new documentary? I just watched it on Prime. Shout out to Rad Dads. What a wonderful and generous gesture they made today. The vibe was wonderful there. I give Rad Dads my highest recommendation. They are an excellent taqueria located inside the hockey arena. They offer margarita specials on Monday and $ 1 tacos on Tuesday! You can watch live hockey while you enjoy your tacos as they overlook the ice hockey arena inside.“

“This was our first visit, and we will be back. We sat at the bar like we usually do and had a few of their signature drinks that we would highly recommend. The Emerald City and Lavender Lemon Drop were my favorite. The Aviation was a close second, but we've had better Smoky Old Fashions
so maybe pass on that one.
The Firecracker Shirmp was so good and plenty to share. We recommend that too.“

“Great atmosphere, excellent food, and service was awesome. A little difficult to find the entrance, though that seems appropriate for a speakeasy. Prepare to spend a little extra time here as food prep can take longer than normal but it is worth it. The pizza, and the shrimp and chicken vodka pasta dish are fantastic. Street parking within a couple blocks of the restaurant but did not feel bad walking there.“

“We love coming to the Moon, it’s always a stop for us. Usually most of the bartenders are friendly and timely. However, Nita (I believe her name is) is NOT friendly and very slow. We were there today, I very politely asked for my drinks and not once did she smile or even look to be happy or pleased with being at work. My husband went up the next time to get a new drink and asked her to not put anymore ice in his cup and she didn’t care what he said, she still loaded the cup full of ice. Again, had the look on her face like she didn’t care how nice someone was to her, she wasn’t gonna be nice back. Additionally, when I went up for drinks, she looked at me, looked back at the computer, and made me and someone else wait without saying “I’ll be right with you” or anything of the sorts for about 2-3 minutes.“

“TLDR: We’ve visited this place several times now and have always been satisfied by the pleasant service, good food, and comfortable atmosphere.

This visit, I ordered a PIGEON HILL BEACH PLEASE (sooo good and refreshing and I appreciated that they had it on tap).

We ordered the Pork BBQ Nachos (Hand pulled pork tossed in hickory house BBQ, covered in cheddar cheese and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, corn,red onion and black beans) and I am told that they were “gewd” ?.

I ordered the Fettuccine Vodka Alfredo (A blend of northern Italian marinara and Parmesan cream sauce. With Chicken Scallopini, Shrimp - what I got ?- or Blackened Atlantic Salmon) and it was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, however, I felt like the shrimp were undercooked and I left a couple behind because the texture wasn’t good/edible. The bread that the pasta was served with, though?? I didn’t expect there to be garlic toast and it was probably the best I’ve ever had!

The parents ordered the Beer Battered Cheese Curds (they weren’t as hungry as we were) and I had one to try, and holy cow were they good! The best cheese curds/cheese sticks/cheese anything as an appetizer I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend these!

We’ve been here before; we’ll be here again.

Make sure to cook the shrimp a bit more, kitchen! ?

“I love coming here after waking up hungover. The drinks are affordable and the tacos remind of the tacos i used to get from this ice cream place in the early 90's. Unpretentious bar food, affordable drinks, and excellent service every time I've gone. What more could you want?“

“If you're looking for an upscale place, this isn't it - but it's a nice place to go for a casual bite to eat. As someone who live less than a mile away, it's one of the few places we can go with our kids and get a quick bite to eat without having to drive 15 minutes into town or to meet the neighbors on our snowmobiles in the winter for a drink. Nothing super spectacular about the food, but it's bar food and is good enough for us on a late evening when we don't want to cook :)“

“Everyone goes here for Rebel Road/Bike Time. During this time it's just a backyard full of people drinking and socializing with no band or DJ. Would be so much better if they had a DJ just for these 3 days. Never been there any other time.“
