“Today I had lunch at the Courses restaurant which is a training restaurant at the Muskegon downtown Baker College culinary school. Lunch was wonderful. I ordered the falafel sandwich. This was quite possibly the very best falafel sandwich I've ever had. Everything was perfectly fresh; including the pickled onion. I am going to return next week again for lunch. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable.“

“I waited several minutes at the bar before someone came to take my order. There was no one behind the bar (it was just past lunchtime and the place was not busy). Food was delicious although the steak (8 oz. Bourbon Street) was overcooked. When I pointed that out to the server, he immediately returned it to the kitchen and ordered another which was cooked to order. He also gave me a complimentary salad. Over all, good service, once started. Pleasant atmosphere.“

“Typically pretty hesitant to take four of our small children to a restaurant especially a nicer restaurant. They were extremely accommodating and very kind. They did not make us feel out of place or like we shouldn’t be there at all. Our server was amazing and beyond patient. The food was really good.“

Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.“

“Tonight was our first time at Culvers in Muskegon. My husband got a burger basket and a chili, and I got the cod dinner. I have to say, the food was great. The service was so friendly and accommodating. My fish was so good that it had me wishing I could eat more, sadly I am not a big woman. We will be back, again and again.“

“Stopped to get a quick bite to eat . Walked in to a friendly smile and welcome.. There is plenty of seating and open area.. I had broccoli and cheese soup. 1 of the best that I have tried in a long time... I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The mashed potatoes were hot and delicious. He had lake perch, which was crispy breading and not overcooked. He picked mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, which was really good 👍..... We didn't have room for desserts .. They have plenty of dessert options and desserts to go... You will not be disappointed if you stop for a bite to eat...“

“From central Illinois (nowhere near Chicago) spent a long weekend north of Muskegon, and enjoy checking out breweries. Unruly is in my top three of all I've visited. Was there Apr 26, and had a great conversation with the bartender, loved the vibe, artwork, and especially the brew. The scotch ale was near the top of any I've had......the stout was coffee forward with a chocolately finish (but not heavy)........and the sample of the barrel aged porter was incredible. If your distribution was this far south, I'd be buying often. You guys do it right.“

“We always have a great experiences at this location. But the main purpose of this review is to tell management that Tuesday night, a young lady with braids to the floor requested an application. She was given one and then requested two water cups for her and the man with her. I then witnessed both of them fill the “water cups” with pop. The man also filled his Starbucks cup with pop as well. It may seem silly not to hire someone for that, but I wasn’t impressed at all.“

“We decided last minute to try The Lake House for dinner tonight. We didn’t make a reservation, yet we were seated at a table outdoors almost immediately. Sharon was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She quickly greeted us and got our drinks. Within minutes of ordering I got an alert on my phone of an incoming storm. That’s on us for not checking the weather and asked for our order to go. Sharon went above and beyond and somehow managed to find us a table indoors! Food was delicious and Sharon continued to check on us. 10/10 Food and service!“

“Absolutely iconic Muskegon restaurant. I was raised on the cheddar chili dog special at the downtown location in the 80’s and have never stopped loving it !“

“Ordered take out for lunch, the only complaints I have or suggestions is my quesadilla was not cut and also very soft on one side but otherwise everything tasted great. We also had chicken strips, fries, hot cheese balls, and fried pickles. Will be returning for lunch soon :)“

“I have been going to the Red Rooster Tavern for more than five decades. It is a warm, casual, wonderfully friendly atmosphere, with attentive and cheerful staff! The food is outstanding, especially their homemade pizzas, the Jack Daniels, burger, and the famous rooster balls! They have trivia on Monday nights between 7 PM and 9 PM. They also have live music on Saturday nights as well. It is the only bar and restaurant within an 8 to 10 mile radius. Many thanks to the wonderful staff that makes this truly an awesome experience! “I went into Bob Evans this evening on Sternberg road in Muskegon Michigan and I had the most amazing dinner. the Southwest avocado omelette is delicious never had anything like it. pancakes or fresh and a point per usual there must be an amazing cook in the kitchen. my server was attentive and always had my drink refilled. I will definitely be coming back. the highlight of the evening was the hostess she was quite pleasant and had a great sense of humor. the hostess was definitely a hard worker she never quit moving. Bob Evans is grade A“

“We used to love Brooklyn Bagels other than the occasional we don't have any bagels (Odd since that's literally in the name) but within the last 6 months they have gone downhill. We have visited 2 of the locations and had the same results. Long waits, Chai used to be amazing, is now watery. No one seems to be managing the location we've been too, just a bunch of teens trying to figure it out. Currently at the Apple location and have waited 20 minutes for 2 bagels with minimal other customers. We try to support local but will need to move on from this local business. Too many chances given.“

“Our experience was pretty good besides a couple issues out of our server’s control. We had a very good server, who took really good care of us. The food was extremely tasty! Just don’t go on a Friday night as it is too busy. I definitely will be back!“
