“I enjoyed lunch yesterday at Village Baker. I went with the half sand and cup of soup combo. I had mushroom barley soup with my grilled tuna sand. Both were heavenly. A side of fries and a pickle was included. You get to choose your side. Pro tip: I was by myself and so I did not have to wait 'cause I ate at the bar. When the bill came the bartender gave me $ 5 off as a first timer! So I gave her back the $5 as her well-deserved tip. I also bought a loaf of very fresh sourdough bread and two breakfast cookies. This is my new "happy place" and I am looking forward to returning soon for another great experience.“

“We do takeout regularly from Turks and it’s always perfect. Tonight (NYE 2025) we had company and ordered takeout for all of us. There was a mixup and my bf brought home the wrong bag of food. Turks recooked our order, told us to keep the wrong order as well, and even gave us a gift card for the inconvenience and delay. Very impressed! You guys are amazing.“

“Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.“

“today me and my fiance got toast and jams take out for breakfast. we wanted one of those stay in your pajamas eat breakfast in bed type of days. the only thing that could have made it better is if they did delivery but I was fine picking it up because then I got to order a drink when I was there. I didn't see any drinks to order on the website but I might have just missed that completely that could be my fault but I was happy I went inside cuz I could get it to go coffee. haven't been in to toast and jams in quite some time but I was very impressed. it was super cute inside. I definitely want to go back and eat inside it was so adorable in there and a little area that they have to order drinks at off to the side is super cute. when I walked into toast and jams there was nobody at the door to greet me which was fine and that kind of looked around and was trying to figure out where to go to pick up my order. so I was walking around a little lost and the nicest server came up to me to put me in the right direction I believe she said her name was Miko. younger girl real cute had a hat on short hair shortish darker skin very pretty. anyways the server was such a joy. she stopped the work that she was doing to come up to me and point me in the right direction asked me if I needed help or needed to be set. told her I was picking up a to go order she pointed me in the right direction said she had to go check on a table but she would be back in a minute to make sure that I had everything I needed. I don't really think that was her job to be working the door I think she works the tables but I appreciate her taking her time out of her day to approach me and she was so polite and friendly I'll definitely come back in to eat and ask to sit in her section. food was amazing kitchen did a wonderful job I eat at a lot of breakfast places and this was really top notch good job kitchen. all around good experience I'll be back“

“We always have a great experiences at this location. But the main purpose of this review is to tell management that Tuesday night, a young lady with braids to the floor requested an application. She was given one and then requested two water cups for her and the man with her. I then witnessed both of them fill the “water cups” with pop. The man also filled his Starbucks cup with pop as well. It may seem silly not to hire someone for that, but I wasn’t impressed at all.“

“The service was great I wouldnt ask for more me and my fiancee was eating there and I seen something on my fiancee plate like the plate was dirty so I called my waiter (Nick) over and I told him I was like it looks like my fiancee plate is dirty is it possible for me to get a new one . He said sure I will transfer your food to a different plate . He ask if that was better and I said yes and thank you so much for doing that .

“I love Russ's and am convinced there is not a cleaner restaurant in the area. The staff is ever so kind and helpful. The menu items are nostalgic and delicious, remind me of my childhood and going to diners with my grandparents. I look forward to the beef and barley soup options. They're fries are some of the best in town, not gluten free.

“I went into Bob Evans this evening on Sternberg road in Muskegon Michigan and I had the most amazing dinner. the Southwest avocado omelette is delicious never had anything like it. pancakes or fresh and a point per usual there must be an amazing cook in the kitchen. my server was attentive and always had my drink refilled. I will definitely be coming back. the highlight of the evening was the hostess she was quite pleasant and had a great sense of humor. the hostess was definitely a hard worker she never quit moving. “At the time we were sat the restaurant was busy so I thought it was understandable that out server didn't visit our table immediately. After sitting there for roughly fifteen minutes the server stopped and took our drink and food orders. After another 15 minutes we had yet to receive our drinks, just two waters, so I flagged down another staff member who was bussing the table behind us and asked if she would be able to get us some waters because our server was busy with a big table. She brought us our waters and went to see if our food was ready when she returned she informed us that our server had never put our order in. She made sure that it was submitted and we got our food shortly afterwards. The busser displayed amazing customer service skills and was apologetic for a mistake that wasn't even her own. I don't recall our server ever actually apologizing. Ended up tipping the busser instead of our server because she actually is the one who ended up doing everything. Food was good, our waiter was bad, the busser was amazing and saved the day.“

“We used to love Brooklyn Bagels other than the occasional we don't have any bagels (Odd since that's literally in the name) but within the last 6 months they have gone downhill. We have visited 2 of the locations and had the same results. Long waits, Chai used to be amazing, is now watery. No one seems to be managing the location we've been too, just a bunch of teens trying to figure it out. Currently at the Apple location and have waited 20 minutes for 2 bagels with minimal other customers. We try to support local but will need to move on from this local business. Too many chances given.“
