“Me and my buddy have been going here for over a year now. It's AMAZING! The food is very good quality and priced extremely well. The service is polite and fast getting you in and out. If you're in the holland area, it's a must eat place.“
“One of the best restaurants in the Holland area. Can be a little pricey but well worth it. I've never ordered anything that hasn't been delicious from sandwiches, steaks, appetizers, desserts and their mixed drinks. Got a gift certificate for Christmas from a friend as she knows how much I love this restaurant. Haven't used it yet, but will as soon as weather is nice to sit on the outdoor patio. Inside is good too, but I prefer outdoors when possible.“
“Amazing food.Amazing, friendly, staff.Love it.Brings back that old school, great granny flavor.Absolutely amazing sauce.Service, orders, prepared, Faster than any fast food restaurants.Highly recommend, if your a barbecue, catfish, wings, lover.“
“Very good food I DON'T want to leave bad stars. However she DID forgot my corn bread which wasn't a problem so my husband and I drove back up there and I went in to tell her. I opened my containers and there is NO CORN BREAD and she said she put it in a brown bag separately, but I knew already that it was NO CORN BREAD because I didn't see nothing else in the bag SMH.So at that point I was ANNOYED and didn't want to even tell her I DONT HAVE CORN BREAD BUT WAS CHARGED FOR CORN BREAD. WHY SEND ME OUT THE RESTAURANT TO TELL ME YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T GIVE AND I KNOW I DO NOT HAVE AND THATS WHY I CAME BACK IN THE 1ST PLACE, SMH.SEEMS YOU DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE ME THE CORN BREAD ANYWAYS AND YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WANT TO BELIEVE YOU FORGOT LIKE I SAID WHEN I 1ST CAME BACK.DON'T NOBODY GOT TIME TO BE GOING IN AND OUT OF A BUILDING AND I ALREADY CAME IN SAYING I DONT HAVE IT. MAKES NO SENSE.“
“Great local restaurant. Usually it's seat yourself and there's a few tables available, but I haven't been there during peak breakfast hours.Great breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict. Hash browns are excellent.Coffee is great and you get a pot on the table.Quick service, and very friendly.Awesome service. Will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic doors.“

“Our adventure began with high spirits and an insatiable thirst, not just for the amber nectar but also for a culinary delight. New Holland, a beacon of craft in the brewing world, was our chosen special destination. As we crossed the threshold into The Holland Brewpub, we were greeted not by mere beers, but by a cornucopia of brews so elusive, not even the most dedicated of store shelves could cradle them. The cocktail lineup was no mere list. It was a saga, each one a hero's journey in a glass, championed by New Holland's own distilled spirits. Bourbon and gin took center stage, turning each sip into a crescendo of flavor. But let's not skirt around the main event... the feast! The elote corn dip was not just a dish... it was a challenge. We dove in, not with the grace of gourmands but with the fervor of the Teletubbies' vacuum, inhaling the culinary concoction as though it were the air we breathed. And the prosciutto pizza! It didn't just arrive... It made an entrance, harmonizing with Dragon's Milk in what can only be described as a ballet of flavors. Each bite, a pirouette; each gulp, an ovation.Enter stage left, our waitress Madison, not merely a server but the conductor of our gastronomic symphony. With a smile that could light the darkest brewery and a joy that infused each interaction, she elevated our experience from mere dining to a jubilant celebration of food, drink, and human connection. In this tale of hops and dreams, New Holland didn't just serve us; they regaled us with a saga to be recounted with a smile, a clink of glasses, and a heartfelt toast to Madison, our cheerful guide through this epic food and alcohol-driven odyssey.“
“Nice place. They try hard to be hip. The food is decent, a bit high in price. I recommend reservations and getting there earlier if you can. They may run out of some dishes. I would have liked to try the bacon wrapped dates, but they were out. We did the crab rangoon instead. It was average. Everything we tried was pretty good- the best might actually have been the beef short rib cheese sandwich. That was solid. My pork chop was ok- decent size and flavorful, but a little more dry than I'd like for 30 bucks. Their hash was fantastic- well seasoned and crispy. The fish sandwich and fries were acceptable. Our drinks, the staff, and the atmosphere made for a good experience.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: GF options alsoKid-friendliness: There is a kid menuWheelchair accessibility: No“
“Spur of the moment choice, we wanted something on the lake and this turned out to be a good choice. I want to say this may have been the absolute best garden side salad I've ever had! It had the 'garden' covered and then some - tomatoes, carrot shreds, cucumber, sugar snap peas and a nice greens mix to boot, give me this salad and a grilled chicken breast and that's my meal! That said, I also had the the prime rib beef sandwich, and although small in stature, it was quite tasty but I had to ask for horseradish - that should be an automatic with a sandwich like this, but our very gracious waitress brought it out post haste.“
“A gem of a restaurant. The deep fried mushrooms did not dissappint!!My steak was tender and had good flavor and the broaster chicken was crispy and tender. My only disappointment was they do not brew their ice tea. Our server was pleasant and engaging.“
“There are lots of good Mom & Pop’s breakfast places in Holland. Going out for breakfast or coffee seems like it’s a cultural pastime here. But Southside Inn offers a solid balance of lower cost than other options without a lower quality of food or service. Table service is offered with a smile. Over the years we’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu. Everything is good. More often than other options, my sons and I tend to order their farmer’s platter, breakfast skillet, or 2 eggs + meat + hash browns + pancakes. Their toast is good (especially the raisin) but please try their pancakes!“
“Nice atmosphere and selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and bowls. Very clean and comfortable. Modern decor. Only complaints is the chicken which is frozen processed meat (spongy texture & salty) rather than fresh cooked chicken breast. Won’t get chicken there again for this reason.“
“I grew up in Holland and Jackie's place has been here for as long as I can remember. I ate there for the first time sense it was rebuilt (which is many many years ago) this week. Had great food, excellent prices and a nice small quiet atmosphere. We came just after the lunch rush so there was hardly anyone there.“
“I had an amazing birthday dinner at Butch’s! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We ordered the garlic frites, pork belly, flank steak, filet mignon, bistro burger, and flourless chocolate torte (free for my birthday). It’s hard to pick favorites but the pork belly, filet mignon, and chocolate torte were beyond incredible with unique and delicious flavor combinations. We also had cocktails and wine, our favorites being the Negroni and Cabernet Sauvignon. They have an extensive cocktail and wine list. Hands down, this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Holland!“
“Went here thinking it was something else. I strongly suggest you check it out. Fox and Oden rye was my favorite but they gave an amazing line up. Was there on an off time and distiller offered a tour. Felt like hanging out with old friends, one of the best tours I've ever been on. Service and knowledge of what they are doing and just a great knowledge of what ppl are doing with spirits.“
“Sharkee's is a very cool dive bar with great food. I came in today a Saturday and Jamie was bartending she was the sweetest and a great attentive bartender extremely funny and lively. We had mozzarella wedges that came out fresh and Rob was an awesome server. I met the manager Nancy and she was so nice. What a great environment to kick a few back and have some laughs. Will definitely be back!“
“We had an amazing night out for dinner at the Red Rock Grille! An amazing date night option for incredible food and drinks. Our waitress Bethany was so friendly, thorough and professional. Comfortable seating with a great view. We are already looking forward to returning.“
“So you're looking for a place to relax and maybe have a drink or some food in downtown Holland...you're probably not thinking about going to a hotel lobby...We'll you might be missing out on some of the best deals. CitySen has some great deals and really friendly bartenders. Happy Hour every day from 4-7 with food deals including a delicious $8 pizza and half price bottles of wine and great drink deals. The lounge is undergoing renovations starting next week so it will be even better. The night I was there most recently they even had live music, something you don't often see in Holland. So make sure to check out CitySen, but save me a seat at the bar.“
“The food is exceptional. The Burger they have is so delicious its hard to put into words. The specials they have are amazing. They call it a 5 star dive bar. It's really a 5 star bar. The staff is very attentive and you don't sit around waiting for service.“
“We lucked up on this gem while in Holland for a comedy show. Nice family style restaurant. The menu had a nice variety of food. I ordered the patty melt, and it was excellent! Our server was great. If you're in the area, stop in, you won't be disappointed.“
“Wow, I can't believe there's an applebees I haven't reviewed. If there's a place that I go to often, it's Applebees. Been a reoccurring customer for almost 20 years. Although I'm boring and always get the spinich dip and buffalo wings.Applebees has gone downhill for the past few years..It's cheap quality food that's microwaved, but they still carry what I like, and I still enjoy the taste. So I guess that's ok.“
