“A group 7 of us dined at Community to celebrate an 85th birthday. The food was delicious (I had the Community Burger) and the service was excellent. I'd never been and the locals I was with detailed the long history of the restaurant including its recent reopening. It sounds like a local staple and I can understand why. Food was good, great value for cost, and our waitree was terrific. I will definitely be going back.“
“Food was good but the brisket on the sandwich could have been chopped smaller. Surprised they don't have ketchup for the fries. Wasn't expecting a hot spicy slaw. The pulled pork was good. Had some good sauces for the meat.We'll be back.“

“Wow, I can't believe there's an applebees I haven't reviewed. If there's a place that I go to often, it's Applebees. Been a reoccurring customer for almost 20 years. Although I'm boring and always get the spinich dip and buffalo wings.Applebees has gone downhill for the past few years..It's cheap quality food that's microwaved, but they still carry what I like, and I still enjoy the taste. So I guess that's ok.“

“Very good food I DON'T want to leave bad stars. However she DID forgot my corn bread which wasn't a problem so my husband and I drove back up there and I went in to tell her. I opened my containers and there is NO CORN BREAD and she said she put it in a brown bag separately, but I knew already that it was NO CORN BREAD because I didn't see nothing else in the bag SMH.So at that point I was ANNOYED and didn't want to even tell her I DONT HAVE CORN BREAD BUT WAS CHARGED FOR CORN BREAD. “I have never been to this Pub I live over two and a half hours away I have recently discovered Dragon's Milk bourbon as well as the stout beers I can honestly say I have found my go to Distillery when it comes to Bourbon I live in Harrison Michigan and it is very hard to get that bourbon up this far I love the story in the journey and the craftsmanship that went into this Distillery as of now there will be no other bourbon that will sit on my shelf as well as no other beer that will be in my fridge except for a dragon's milk stout beer for this Distillery to be around since only 2001 and to be rated 70 out of 100 with some of the best bourbon companies around to me you have found the essence of what bourbon truly is it is not meant for everybody and not everybody is meant for bourbon I will be planning a trip to come to the pub and to visit The Distillery I follow you on Facebook and anywhere else I can follow you I have also signed up for your guys's newsletter the bourbon lover in me is now officially a Dragon's Milk bourbon Drinker for life“

“Diner style food in a classic stepping back in time, slightly grubby kind of atmosphere. If you find the breakfast bill at Anna's House shocking, the Wooden Shoe will be a welcome change. This place is always busy for that reason, along with the huge warm cinnamon rolls and corned beef hash omelets.“
“Nice place. They try hard to be hip. The food is decent, a bit high in price. I recommend reservations and getting there earlier if you can. They may run out of some dishes. I would have liked to try the bacon wrapped dates, but they were out. We did the crab rangoon instead. It was average. Everything we tried was pretty good- the best might actually have been the beef short rib cheese sandwich. That was solid. My pork chop was ok- decent size and flavorful, but a little more dry than I'd like for 30 bucks. Their hash was fantastic- well seasoned and crispy. The fish sandwich and fries were acceptable. “Great location and view!! Strolled in the middle of happy hour on a Thursday. Approximately 4pm - seated in the dining room with a great server, Steve informed us happy hour specials are only available in the bar area - so, we sadly left his area & were sat at a high top in the area. Also, with a great view. After all, who wouldn't want happy hour specials during happy hour??? Exactly why we were there for $3 off appetizers and $1 off signature drinks!! Bartender didn't seem too thrilled for the opportunity to serve us. But, we rolled with it. After all we are in the public business as well & restaurant alumni service industry & wanted to eat & drink like queens of happy hour!! Mmmm the Cold duck speciality drink we highly recommend!! We are the delicious appetizerS; calamari, shrimp cocktail, & the warm goat cheese dip (could've had a few more pieces of toasted baguette) but, was ohhhh so delicious, arrived hot, & fabulous plate presentation!!! Despite the less than enthusiastic service via being seated in the bar & wishing we could've had Steve as our server along with happy hour prices... we'll be back!“
“I stopped for lunch and was seated right away. This was a nice place and very clean and well maintained. I ordered the Hot Turkey Sandwich, and it was really good. The Turkey was tender and moist, and the mashed potatoes were good as well. It was covered with a tasty gravy, but not soaking in it. This was a great lunch for the price. The service was friendly and quick as well.“
“There are lots of good Mom & Pop’s breakfast places in Holland. Going out for breakfast or coffee seems like it’s a cultural pastime here. But Southside Inn offers a solid balance of lower cost than other options without a lower quality of food or service. Table service is offered with a smile. Over the years we’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu. Everything is good. More often than other options, my sons and I tend to order their farmer’s platter, breakfast skillet, or 2 eggs + meat + hash browns + pancakes. Their toast is good (especially the raisin) but please try their pancakes!“
“I had an amazing birthday dinner at Butch’s! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We ordered the garlic frites, pork belly, flank steak, filet mignon, bistro burger, and flourless chocolate torte (free for my birthday). It’s hard to pick favorites but the pork belly, filet mignon, and chocolate torte were beyond incredible with unique and delicious flavor combinations. We also had cocktails and wine, our favorites being the Negroni and Cabernet Sauvignon. They have an extensive cocktail and wine list. Hands down, this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Holland!“
“Went here thinking it was something else. I strongly suggest you check it out. Fox and Oden rye was my favorite but they gave an amazing line up. Was there on an off time and distiller offered a tour. Felt like hanging out with old friends, one of the best tours I've ever been on. Service and knowledge of what they are doing and just a great knowledge of what ppl are doing with spirits.“

“Sharkee's is a very cool dive bar with great food. I came in today a Saturday and Jamie was bartending she was the sweetest and a great attentive bartender extremely funny and lively. We had mozzarella wedges that came out fresh and Rob was an awesome server. I met the manager Nancy and she was so nice. What a great environment to kick a few back and have some laughs. Will definitely be back!“

The lounge is undergoing renovations starting next week so it will be even better. The night I was there most recently they even had live music, something you don't often see in Holland. So make sure to check out CitySen, but save me a seat at the bar.“
“I have a long history with Franks—they were my first job ever in 2015 when I was 15! My husband and I went out to franks on Saturday for the hot fudge milkshake that I was craving.Not only is the restaurant mostly just like it was when I left (aside from the cool addition), but the service was phenomenal and the food was just as good as it used to be…It was busy and we were there during lunch rush, but our server was intentional about communicating that our orders were working hard on the grill…honestly the orders didn’t take a long time, but that communication goes a long way!Not sure who he was, but he did great customer service and made us a great set of milk shakes.“
