“Hops is easily one of my favorite places to eat in Holland! Every time I go, I feel like I’m in for a treat. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, which makes it a great spot for everything from a relaxed dinner to celebrating something special.

Their menu has something for everyone, and I’ve never been disappointed with what I’ve ordered. The flavors are always spot on, and it’s clear they put a lot of care into their dishes. Plus, their craft beer selection is awesome and pairs really well with the food.

What I really appreciate is the staff—they’re super friendly and always make sure you’re having a great time. If you haven’t been to Hops yet, you’re missing out. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu!”

“My husband and I had dinner there on Friday 11/7 for our anniversary. Everything was great except for the full rack of ribs my husband ordered. There was something in the sauce that tasted like cinnamon. I know that it is a common thing to do but it was so over powering and he was not able to eat them. I wanted to tell the server but my husband didn't want to cause an issue. Our appetizers and my meal was fantastic and the service was great! Maybe just ease up on the cinnamon or whatever that was it was in the sauce.”

“We go every other Sunday evening but that ends now! this location is disgusting, it's dirty and on super bowl Sunday the floors where so slick my abled body almost became disabled from a fall and not one employee seemed to care or even bother to get a slippery floor sign. This is a direct failure in management as they are not concerned about the conditions of the restaurant. Our family of 7 will not be returning and warning everyone to stay away until new management is brought in and a very very deep cleaning is done!!!”

“Fantastic venue for a casual or special occasion. We visited this past New Year's weekend and our server Christian was fast, accurate, and accommodating. He answered questions about the liquor available and the specials Beechwood had available. The food was AMAZING! The plating was gorgeous - certainly Instagram worthy and what's better is that the food tasted as good as it looked. The fries to my beyond burger were so hot you could see the steam rising. Our appetizer of brisket dip is to return over and over for. Steak was cooked as requested and was gorgeously decorated with those classic grill marks. the restaurant was clean. Employees were friendly and seemed happy to be there - which in turn we can't wait to visit again!”

“Best Pizza I’ve had in months. In a little strip mall next to Jackie’s. Far superior to the other pizza places in Holland. Great baked crust and a bit of a kick in the sauce. Quite a surprise to “find” this place as I drive past it frequently and decided today to stop in.”

“After a really disappointing experience at another restaurant where we ended up leaving without eating, we stopped in here and sat at the bar — and I’m so glad we did. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we sat down. We received our food within about 15 minutes, and everything about the experience felt easy and enjoyable. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax after a frustrating start to the evening. They truly saved the night for us. We ended up having a great time, great service, and a much better overall experience than we expected walking in. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Whenever I travel, I love to go to a local coffee shop, have a coffee, and buy a mug (with the shop’s name or logo on it) as a souvenir. A couple weeks ago, my husband and I had the privilege of camping overnight at the Holland State Park Beach Campground before our final leg back to Illinois. On our way out of town, we made a special stop at KIN coffee so I could purchase a latte and buy a mug. The barista was just the sweetest person and I ordered an iced Lavender Bee latte from her. It was excellent! Unfortunately, the shop seemed to be out of mugs to buy. Oh well! However, Lynn (owner?) overheard our conversation, and let’s just say, she went to great lengths to find a mug for me, which was so appreciated. The coffee shop is adorable and so inviting inside and out (there’s the cutest patio), and if I lived in Holland, I would be there all the time. The place was very busy, but the workers were so wonderful, and they really do make you feel like kin! And the coffee was wonderful! Now I am drinking from my mug at home, where the coffee isn’t as good, thinking about my next trip to KIN!”

Brayden, our guide, had a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the table, giving us an inside look at the steps of coffee processing—from harvesting to packaging. “Very cute place to have a brunch with friends and family. We got pancakes, fiesta bowl and two peppermint mochas. We had to ask for extra peppermint as we didn’t taste it much at first. Fiesta bowl is indeed warming, has a little kick to it. But I couldn’t enjoy it. It’s too much of sauce, squash bites are either mushy or hard. It tastes very grease. I would recommend to add something to it that would take up that sauce to make it balanced. Maybe some grains: buckwheat, rice or quinoa? Otherwise, I think it could be a best side dish with smaller portion of it, but not as an entree.”

“This was my first time being at the bakery. I ordered vanilla sponge cake with strawberry filling and fruit on top. The cake was incredible! The sponge was light, perfect amount of filling, and the fresh fruit was so good. The whipped cream frosting was light with chocolate drizzle. It was perfect! They said they just reopened 5 weeks ago after being covid shut down. the old place was 2-3 times bigger. only seated about 40 w the bar but no problem. That way they're always busy & doing well. I had the bourbonator, wife had the Crown & Anchor burger. both came w fries and pickle spear. The burgers were perfect, the toppings were phenomenal! We're very picky these days paying today's prices and they sure delivered! Our server was awesome! I asked for her recommendations and they were spot on. She was fun & checked on us just enough but not buggy. *****!”

“We originally had a different late night snack company booked for our wedding, however they cancelled on us a month before our wedding. Frantically trying to find a new option I came across Knot Spot Pretzel and realized they were actually super close to our venue. I reached out immediately desperate for some help finding a replacement late night snack. Within a couple hours of sending them a message I got a call from Tracy giving me all the information and immediately sent over a quote. We decided to book them and it was a blessing in disguise for us. I sent over a photo of our table set up so their staff knew where to deliver and they got everything beautifully set up for us. They were a HUGE hit at our wedding. The pretzels were absolutely delicious and the beer cheese was a crowd favorite. I cannot recommend this place enough they were absolutely fantastic to work with.”

“I’m confused by this place. Almost everything was cool - cool space inside, interesting menu….but tapioca doesn’t fit through their straws.

How can a boba place have straws that don’t fit their tapioca? Maybe I missed something?

Smoothie was great, teas were pretty sweet. I ordered the Thai tea with 50% sweet, but when they gave it to me they said the sweetness can’t be altered. Would’ve liked to know that when ordering.

“We’ve been to Fat Burrito several times with our family and we really enjoy it. The food is delicious, with generous portions and great flavor — it’s not just quantity, but quality. The drinks are excellent, especially the margaritas. The karaoke nights are fun and very welcoming. You can choose any song, feel comfortable, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great place to come with family, even with kids. The staff is very friendly and attentive. On our last visit, they brought us chips with guacamole, which were amazing. Highly recommended in Holland for good food, great drinks, and a fun environment.”

The restaurant was kind enough to let us (about 30 people) get drinks and food for our kids, even though they were closing in 30 minutes! “My girlfriend and I recently dined at Mr. You Chinese Food, and we had an amazing experience. She ordered the Orange Chicken, while I went for the Szechuan Shrimp, and both dishes were fantastic. The portion sizes were more than generous, easily filling us both. The Orange Chicken was spot on — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the pork fried rice that came with it was absolutely wonderful.

As for the Szechuan Shrimp, it was delicious, though a bit on the salty side. Still, the flavor was tremendous, and the ratio of shrimp, rice, and vegetables was just right. I opted for the shrimp fried rice with mine, and it complemented the dish perfectly.

One thing to note: there’s not much in the way of staff interaction beyond placing your order, and I feel like the restaurant could benefit from its own standalone building instead of being attached to a gas station. It creates a bit of an odd vibe. That said, the food more than makes up for it, and we’ll definitely be back!”

“Oh so good! I had a small meal of hot and sour soup, crab rangoon, and 2 pieces of tuna sushi. All were so good. Hubby had a sizzling tofu dish with tofu, broccoli,carrot,etc. and white rice.. so good and such a big portion. You could hear it sizziling all the way from the kitchen to our table. “I just wanna say thank you so much. As someone who was born and raised in MI I fell in love with the Superman flavored ice cream as a young child. I moved to Florida as a young adult and struggled finding Superman ice cream as no ice cream parlor sold any flavor remotely close to it. So I settled with regular vanilla for 4 years, a couple of days ago I thought about Superman flavored ice cream again. After doing research I found out it was an up north thing, but thanks to Hudsonville Ice Cream I was able to find the Superman ice cream at a local Winn-Dixie. My life feels complete now.”

“I was driving with my little baby who was sleeping soundly in the car, and I stopped by to get a coffee to stay energized. The café is located inside a hotel—small but cozy. It was lunchtime, yet it wasn’t crowded and the service was very fast. There are plenty of tables and comfy sofas, which makes it convenient and comfortable to sit and relax. This time they also updated their packaging, and the new design looks festive and delightful. I really like it!”
