“I can tell you one thing... this place is the G.O.A.T for burgers. By far the best burger, I've EVER had. If you are ever in the Saugatuck area, you need to see these peeps. Well worth the trip for a burger. Most people over cook a smash burger, not these people still cooked Medium. So so impressed. We will be back. Oh and the chips were house made, and the Duck Sauce is perfect for a burger. Get here.”

“My wife and I shared the Supreme pizza, luxe style and the marinated olives. I also tried a pilsner they had on tap. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the service was super friendly. We sat in the back patio with our dog and were so comfortable. Might be the best pizza I've had outside of Chicago!”

“We rarely go out for breakfast/brunch but decided to to go out for our 25th anniversary. Joey immediately greeted us with his warm smile and helped up find a seat. He then went through the menu and gave us his recommendations and boy was he spot on. I ordered the crab cake Benedict which I say with zero exaggeration was THE best crab cake that I have ever had. It is stuffed with crab and is crispy on the outside while being soft and delicious on the inside. The hollandaise is THE best I have ever had being so creamy with a hint of sweetness. It was like a work of art with each layer revealing something even more delicious. The egg was perfectly cooked and yet a hidden gem under the crab. It was a feast for the eyes and the stomach! My husband had the chicken and waffles. I am not a waffle person but this was something that was out of this world good! Plus, the chicken was crispy and moist with that hot honey that gave it a kick with delicious sweetness! The unsuspecting treat was the Green Envy drink, I rarely order anything but water but decided to try something new. It was beyond refreshing with its savory (my mouth is watering thinking about it) yet sweet notes mingled together. Between Joey and the amazingly kind yet talented staff, we went back two days in a row. This is easily our favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!”

“Stopped into Spectators in Saugatuck and discovered the Pot Roast Sandwich special—pure magic! Tender, slow-roasted beef just like grandma’s, with zesty caper mayo, caramelized onions, and a soft, fresh bun. Comfort food meets gourmet—don’t walk, RUN to try it!”

“As a southerner the fried chicken was not even close to what I would expect. Oil needed to be changed. Greens needed to be braised longer. Maybe we just came on the wrong day.”

“We were a group of 3 senior ladies, traveling from Chicago to Traverse City, who stopped at Ida Reds for breakfast. They ask you to sign in and then seat you in that order. Phenomenal is the best word to describe our food. I haven’t had French toast as my mom cooked since I was a kid….I’m 73. Don’t like pancakes but I tasted them from my friend….gosh, what I’ve been missing! My other friend had the basted eggs with ham and fresh fried potato slices…enough for 2 people and WONDERFUL! Service was very attentive. Our biggest surprise was when we were presented with our bill. Haven’t eaten this inexpensively in forever. They hit the big 3..great food , great service, and great prices! Be sure to try it!”

“Be nice there are younger people who work here . Probably their first job . Very cute concept. Plenty of outdoor seating(picnic tables) Prices are cheaper than most restaurants downtown. A little slower than i thought it would be . I did order online to got there & my order wasn’t ready yet in which. They explained why and made up for it. They do charge a small fee for ordering online. Super sweet staff. Although I do believe my sandwich had the wrong cheese . It was still decent I mean it is a grilled cheese shack not a 5 star bouji restaurant . If you want something simple & quick for the most part. They do have corn hole boards as well. I’d definitely come here if you have little ones who can’t sit still in a restaurant. Small variety . But it’s a grilled cheese. If you have a bigger order prepare to wait .”

“Was there today. Met some friends for coffee. It was great! And I had a raspberry white chocolate scone warmed so the butter melted into every knock and cranny .... so good! You should stop by and enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee and a special treat.”
