“Holland has pretty bad food in general, Doeb's is one of the few places my GF and I get genuinely excited to eat at. Pretty fantastic Detroit style pizzas with decent prices. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but definitely the best in Holland.Vegetarian options: Not vegan to my knowledge, but like most pizza places you can get cheese/veggie pizzas and I haven't had issues.“

It's a little bit of Italy in the Midwest! We had such a fun time here! Being new to the area, they welcomed us like we were old family friends. The Caesar salad was fresh with homemade dressing and the pizza was delicious! We've also had David's homemade lasagna which came complete with a hand-decorated box to go! Oh! And you must try the key lime pie! That's homemade too! We love this place and the people here!“
“I had a near religious experience at this establishment. Upon entering, my partner and I were greeted by the owner. They were incredibly informative, friendly, and accommodating. This was my first time finding a restaurant that completely met my strict dietary needs, and it was exceptional. Nearly everything on the menu could be adjusted or modified. Despite ordering numerous items, the food preparation was prompt and ready to go quickly. The cauliflower rice was a big suprise, typically a soggy or soft dish, they made it in a way that is reminiscent of couscous, an absolute essential if you visit here. It is a smaller establishment but good seating for a quick lunch with a few people or alone.Dietary restrictions: Keto and diabetic friendly everything. Vegetarian and vegan options are also ample, nearly everything can be modified. Knowledgeable staff are willing to make sure you have a safe and delicious meal.“
“We've ordered pizza from here over the years and it has never disappointed. The deep dish pizzas are worth the extra wait! Be sure to plan ahead when ordering. We usually get it to go as it usually works better for us. Seating can be limited but is expanded in the summer. Great pizza in downtown Holland!“
“Interesting local place in the middle of a residential area. They had live music and it was good. I'm not sure how to describe this place... Dive bar meets diner meets gastropub? It's not really any of those three, but a weird hybrid. The food was decent but nothing amazing. They claim to have won prizes for their pub fries but they were just...fries. They did have some decent dipping sauce I guess. Maybe I've had too many potatoes lately. The ribs were ok. The Reuben was above average and the burgers are good. “Great location and view!! Strolled in the middle of happy hour on a Thursday. Approximately 4pm - seated in the dining room with a great server, Steve informed us happy hour specials are only available in the bar area - so, we sadly left his area & were sat at a high top in the area. Also, with a great view. After all, who wouldn't want happy hour specials during happy hour??? Exactly why we were there for $3 off appetizers and $1 off signature drinks!! Bartender didn't seem too thrilled for the opportunity to serve us. But, we rolled with it. After all we are in the public business as well & restaurant alumni service industry & wanted to eat & drink like queens of happy hour!! Mmmm the Cold duck speciality drink we highly recommend!! We are the delicious appetizerS; calamari, shrimp cocktail, & the warm goat cheese dip (could've had a few more pieces of toasted baguette) but, was ohhhh so delicious, arrived hot, & fabulous plate presentation!!! Despite the less than enthusiastic service via being seated in the bar & wishing we could've had Steve as our server along with happy hour prices... we'll be back!“
“Great little pizza and sub shop on Holland's west side. Pizza is delicious with a LOT of varieties. Their chicken Parm sub has real chicken breast, not just a breaded cutlet! And their double dogs are a cool mix of cheesy bread and hot dog.“
“Being from out of town we have only had pizza from Papa Romano’s a few times now.This time around we tried ordering online and realized quickly after that our order was sent in to a location on the other side of the state. After calling the store that received our order and receiving a very rude response and refusal to help in trying to fix the mistake, I called the Holland, MI store. Frustrated, I asked to speak with the manager, looking to place my order with them and get a corporate contact to try and deal with the issue with the other store further.Listening to what happened, and truly caring about us as customers, the manager went above and beyond to make things right for us. The mistake was made by us, the poor service was from the other side of the state, but the Holland store turned a negative experience for my family into a stellar one. It’s great to know great customer service still exists. We look forward to the next time we come to town and will be calling our order in next time.“
“They serve deluxe hot dogs and a few Mexican items. They serve draft beer that is super fresh. They have a clientele that is loyal... bunch of regulars. When we walked in, they could not have been nicer or more welcoming. New favorite "dive" bar in Holland. Won $28 in keno. Bonus!“
“I love this bar. It feels like a classic bar. Nice bar tenders. Definitely not fancy. The drinks are simple. Pizza always hits the spot. Sometimes the crowd can play super lame music on the jukebox. Definitely not a hipster joint, which can be refreshing. They have a pool table.“

“Nice place, super friendly staff....... update as of 4-16-23 I have been shopping at kings cove for 10 + years, I spend a considerable amount of money there! That last several visits to the store I have been less than impressed! Not only was their newer clerk very unfriendly they never stock my product even after asking many times, today's visit was exceptionally bad , the dark haired lady that wears glasses was EXTREMELY RUDE! I said hi twice and she just gave me a dirty look. I informed her I would NEVER SHOP the store again and still not a word! I will continue to post reviews and be calling the owner tomorrow (Monday)“
“Not too shabby. They say they're Michigan's original. It's pizza. Super thin crust, 12" pie. I'd recommend a double on toppings. It's 16 bucks for a pizza. They're so thin I'd say 1-2 people per pizza, easily. I'm not a huge fan of their sausage but the pepperoni is pretty good. They don't have parmesan, I wouldn't ask for it?. Touchy subject I guess. The staff was helpful. It was clean. They have a bar and several tvs. All they sell is pizza. With a choice of 6 toppings. It's worth a stop. “My granddaughter (age 7) and I were scrambling to find pizza before I drove her back home to Dorr. She let me know she was hungry. Yeah. Anyway...the young lady at the counter was just AWESOME!!! She really seemed to care that we were exasperated and running behind (she started 2nd grade the next day) and needed to eat. I cannot say enough about how kind and helpful she was. “For thin crust, this Crust 54 location beats the downtown location for the thinnest and crispiest pizza ever, this where it's at !. Baked perfectly in the middle even with a healthy pile of topings. (No goop) Lots and Lots of perreroni, the old fashioned kind, is crispy and tasty. For the price, side salads, the size of a salad for two, are a deal. I love their Greek Salad. Meat pizza is awesome. Next time a picture. Get the largest they have and it re-heats like fresh out of the pizza oven every time. Winner Winner, Pizza Dinner.“

“This place is open year round which is great because due to this being a resort town, things tend to have odd hours or only open during the season. I ordered the cheese bread and the pepperoni pizza. WOW such great food oh, and my husband got the Italian roast beef sandwich which was just as amazing! If you want pizza or a great sandwich you will not be disappointed with this spot! I would HIGHLY recommend!!!“
