I had wanted to try Skiles for a long time after hearing about their pizza from many people in the area. I finally gave it a try and wow was it good! Their tavern style thin crust pizza is what they’re known for and it’s easy to see why. The pizza was perfectly proportioned to where it was very flavorful but not overwhelming or overly greasy like many tavern style pizzas. The bartender/ waitress April was very nice and fun to talk to! The one thing to keep in mind...read full review

Skiles Tavern Inc. is a long-time Holland staple, known for its exceptionally good thin-crust pizza with great flavor and a greasier texture. The bar, which has a classic feel, offers a variety of drinks and a pool table. The staff hustles to provide quick service for pizza and drinks, and the establishment is known for its no-frills atmosphere. The pizza is a customer favorite, with a crunchy crust and several topping options. Additionally, they offer loaded nachos with various toppings. It is not a fancy or hipster joint, making it a refreshing spot for those seeking a classic bar experience. Visitors have praised the friendly service, especially during busy times when the staff works hard under pressure. The limited menu focuses mainly on pizza, which is thin crust covered edge to edge with toppings, and other items like chips and cheese, BBQ pork sandwich, and chips and salsa. The place is also appreciated for its cozy layout and typical bar decor, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
