“Quaint little place with delicious food! My friend had the chicken shishkabob wrap and said it was great. I had a Chicken wrap and the ingredients tasted fresh; very filling meal. They let us try some pierogis, which were delicious. They also have a great chai tea latte! Best part was how dog friendly the staff was. I definitely recommend giving Siena Cafe a try!“
“A visit to Holland is incomplete without a trip to Deboer Bakkerij! My favorite is the cranberry orange muffin. There are so many great pastries to enjoy. Try a pig in the blanket, or take some home frozen! Whether you pick up things in the bakery or eat breakfast… You will be happy!“
“We tried their Vegan sandwiches and they are the best sandwich we have had in a while. The sandwich was well made with fresh veggies. Will definitely recommend the place.Vegetarian options: They have separate vegetarian section. We tried 3 of them 19, 20 and 21 and loved them all.“
“How is this place not known all over? Even the locals barely know about this bakery!I finished a stressful week at work and wanted to reward myself with a sweet treat or donut. As it was towards the end of the day, many shops were about to close and I didn't want a crusty old donut. I was searching through Google and saw that Colin's had great reviews and it closed at 6:30.The bakery is hidden away in what appears to be a bit of an industrial location. It shares space with a small car lot and if it didn't have a sign, you would not know it's there. Upon entry, it smelled amazing. It's small, and there are many units with goodies in them. It's self-serve, they have clean serving trays and clean tongs. You take one of each and place your selection on the tray and then take it up to the counter. They box it up and you pay. Then on your way.During the time I was there, there was a steady stream of people going in and out. The owner (?) came out from behind, greeted me, and told me the young man up front could answer any questions I had. It looks like it's either family run because of the homey feel.I had a full large box that I took home and it was very very reasonably priced. The full box was less than 20 dollars. If I were to buy 2-3 of the items I had in that box by my place, easily at least $10 just for 2-3 items. What I also loved about this place is that it had more than donuts and conchas (Mexican sweet bread). Though they have different names for the pastries, they essentially had European style pastries as well as others that I'm not familiar with.Definitely coming back for my sweet fixes.“
“This is a Holland MI DESTINATION!Their food, ( including pizza dough!) never disappoints! It’s also true that they support numerous community events and efforts! There is a dad and three sons. We defy you to choose a favorite! ?Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors ? in and out!“
“Great tasting donuts and very large as well. Highly recommended over other donut shops in the area. One item of note is that they are still making most of the donuts when doors open so if you need a large quantity I would recommend waiting for a little while before stopping. The selection and quantities will be greater.“
“I had a near religious experience at this establishment. Upon entering, my partner and I were greeted by the owner. They were incredibly informative, friendly, and accommodating. This was my first time finding a restaurant that completely met my strict dietary needs, and it was exceptional. Nearly everything on the menu could be adjusted or modified. Despite ordering numerous items, the food preparation was prompt and ready to go quickly. The cauliflower rice was a big suprise, typically a soggy or soft dish, they made it in a way that is reminiscent of couscous, an absolute essential if you visit here. It is a smaller establishment but good seating for a quick lunch with a few people or alone.Dietary restrictions: Keto and diabetic friendly everything. Vegetarian and vegan options are also ample, nearly everything can be modified. Knowledgeable staff are willing to make sure you have a safe and delicious meal.“
“I think this is probably one of the bigger name restaurants here in Holland. This is a breakfast brunch place only and the people stand outside with an imposing line, waiting to be called. Very popular. You get big servings of your order which is nice. I've had family and their friends have all worked there many years!“
“Delicious comfort food! Wish we would have come hungrier to partake in the pie flight - they looked amazing. The little store had a ton of frozen sweet and savory pies. The inside decor had a lot of fun older signs, ads, and kitsch.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, kids menu“
“I adore the vibe of this shop! Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Shop decorations and displays are warm and inviting.Cannelle Miel Latte was the star of the show. Macarons were exquisitely made. Light hard shell on the outside with fluffy cake and filling on the inside. I got the six pack of macarons and had trouble distinguishing the flavors at times. Even so, they were delicious and unique. Amongst them were Rosé, Mirabelle, and Strawberry Lavender flavors unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. If you seek a new culinary experience or are in search of a wonderful cup of coffee, I highly recommend this location! I will be returning. ☺️Parking: Around the back of the shop there is a public parking lot. There is also parking along 8th Street in Downtown Holland.“
“While in town visiting family at Thanksgiving, we visited the Kerstmarkt at the Civic Center. It was pretty cold, and before walking up 8th Street, we wanted to warm up and grab a quick bite. That's when we stumbled on this place. It is just east of the market, so it's a prime location to pick up a breakfast pastry or drink before shopping downtown. It had just opened, so we were the only customers. The place is pristine and bright and huge with several tables on one side.My mom and I shared a pecan sticky bun thing, and it was warm and delicious. Don't be fooled by the plate in the photo - it's actually a sturdy, reusable plate made to look like a paper plate. They also provide forks and cups for water. There were so many items to choose from, I'll have to go back and try some more.“
“Great variety of delicious pastries, but not only that... The OVEN BAKED DELI SANDWICHES place that just opened there really takes the cake!! (pun intended). We're excited to have another super good place to have lunch in the area. Thank you!!“
“We are lunch here after a visit to Hope College. The food was great. The service was wonderful. The lady who took our order was patient and helpful, as this was our first visit. Thank you Flaca! Enjoyed the atmosphere and the sweet blueberry aroma as well. Worth a visit if in Holland.“
“Great company for school funsraisers. They do onlne and brochure combined! We have been using them for many years. The best tasting popcorn in existence! Sonja is helpful and amazing. I have been working with her for years. If there have been any issues, she is right on it. I would recommend this company to anyone, and actually have!“
“No frills donut shop and is cash only. The donuts are good for the money you pay for. If you are looking for traditional donuts, this is the place to go. Nothing was labeled, so not too sure what all the offerings were. I got the fruit danish and it was very sweet. Definitely need coffee or something to help cut the sweetness.“
“While traveling north to Michigan from Indiana, my friends and I stopped to get gas at this location. Upon seeing the Cinnabon sign on the building, we had to check it out! The inside of the store is super clean and provides customers with so many options in one stop. There is a full service gas station with your typical snacks and fountain drinks, but there are also additional services that make this location unique from other gas stations. There is a small stand that offers freshly baked Cinnabon products, and they are outstanding! My friends and I split a box of 6 full sized cinnamon rolls for $14, making it under $5 for each of us to have 2 rolls. I think that's reasonable!! Also inside, there were also aisles of Michigan-related souvenirs, such as keychains, hats, sweatshirts, etc. The restrooms were clean, so that is always a "plus"! In general, if you are in the area or need to stop while passing through, I highly recommend this Pilot Travel Center location as a "one-stop" to meet all your needs!“
“Bliss Bakery is the place to be! Located in Holland, MI, Bliss Bakery has just about anything you can think of when it comes to gluten free goodies. The few times that my family and I have been there (I'm in Muskegon so don't get over as much as I'd like) were incredible. The last time I went with my siblings and husband I had a squash soup bread bowl and a tasty latte. They are also offering half off shipping ($10) currently for Michigan residents. I recommend the bagels, and both the bacon cheddar and the everything are both great. They also have a good variety of homemade breads including sourdough, and many good sweet treats. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the decor is very cheery. Stop in soon! You won't be disappointed.“
“Comfy and warm space. Perfect oat milk latte. My partner got a nitro cold brew and southwest breakfast sandwich and enjoyed both. They have a patio space and a window to order from outdoors in case you're getting a coffee with your pup!“
“Their French Toast bagel is the best bagel I have had in my life!!!Their bagels are not tough and dry, they are soft on the inside. Super variety and great atmosphere with a fireplace and cozy chairs as well as standard booths. Friendly efficient service too.“
“Cute little coffee shop. A friend had a bag of their ground coffee and it was excellent so my husband and I thought we would check out the shop. He got the nitro cold brew and loved it. I requested a latte that they no longer had on their menu, but had it listed online. The barista kindly offered to make it even though it wasn’t an offering on their current selection. I am glad she did as it was delicious . If we lived closer, I would make it a regular stop.“
